This boutique hotel looks cute for its design, but their business practices are dishonest! I felt uncomfortable with how they treated customers. First, the room I received was not what I had paid for based on the pictures in the app. During my one-night stay, they claimed the hotel was fully booked and offered me a “special arrangement” in a secret annex. I was taken aback and suspected it was staff accommodations since I accessed my room through a different door that had a sign. When I inquired further, the hostess told me I received an “upgrade” to a canal view room because they were full. However, this room was tiny and the heating didn’t work at all. That night was freezing, and when I asked if the AC could help regulate the temperature, I learned it was only functional in summer. They didn’t have any portable heaters available either. I was shocked that the heating system was inadequate, especially in Amsterdam during the snow. The hostess later offered to switch me to another “staff” room, which I switched later, but it was still cold, and I had to sleep in my down jacket. If your hotel is fully booked, don’t allow overbooking on platforms and provide customers with staff accommodations; that’s not acceptable business practice!!! While the hostess was polite and they did give me a bag of snacks upon checkout, the fundamental purpose of staying in a hotel is to have a comfortable experience, which this stay did not provide. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Additionally, the hotel is overpriced, charging a premium for a small room that simply isn’t worth it. Think twice before booking here. They should refund half of the money I paid for my night for such a dishonest practice!

El hotel es súper bonito, muy cerca de la estación RAI de Ámsterdam. El área de desayuno es súper grande y muy rica. Hay más de una docena de opciones de cereales y aderezos, y también hay una larga fila de lonchas de queso y carne. La papilla china es un poco espesa y los huevos de té son bastante buenos. También hay una amplia gama de variedades de leche y el jugo verde de frutas y verduras vagen es delicioso. Aunque la habitación no es grande, es adecuada. La cama es de buena calidad y el grosor de la colcha es adecuado. Dormí bien las dos noches. Este es el mejor hotel de Francia, España, Portugal y los Países Bajos.

Reservé este hotel para tres noches en Ámsterdam y fue bastante agradable. Ubicación: Muy conveniente, justo al lado de la estación de metro Noord y la estación de autobuses, a solo dos paradas del centro. Hay supermercados y tiendas de conveniencia cerca, así que puedes cubrir tus necesidades básicas. Servicios de la habitación: La habitación era pequeña, pero el baño era espacioso. Sin embargo, con tres maletas grandes desempacadas, no afectó mi movilidad. La cama era de buen tamaño, perfecta para tres personas. Las cortinas bloqueaban bien la luz y aislaban bien el sonido. La única pega fueron las almohadas cuadradas, a las que no estaba acostumbrada. Además, el espejo del baño estaba tan alto que apenas podía verme la cabeza, por no hablar del espejo de maquillaje. ¡Estaba simplemente fuera de mi alcance! Servicio: La habitación se limpiaba a diario después de pulsar el botón de ”limpieza”, y la limpieza era satisfactoria. Si no tienes agua embotellada, puedes pedirla en recepción. Si bien la relación calidad-precio no es excepcional, es la estándar para este hotel. En general, ¡estuve bastante satisfecho con mi estancia!

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, cerca de la estación de tren y de todas las atracciones turísticas. El desayuno nos gustó mucho, y la habitación tiene tetera y cafetera. También hay secador de pelo y todo lo necesario para la ducha. La habitación no era ruidosa y las camas eran muy suaves y cómodas, ¡dormimos de maravilla!

Todo ha ido genial!! El hotel es súper moderno y bonito, los trabajadores muy amables y la habitación estaba todo genial. Lo único malo es que está a las afueras de la ciudad pero tienes el metro enfrente del hotel y te mueves rápidamente al centro. Volveremos!!

Location: it's a great location because it's only a less than 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam Central station. It's so convenient. But the hostel entrance/reception is located inside a pub/restaurant. Personally I have no problem with this. I just find this interesting. There was also a security-looking guy standing at the entrance at night every day too, so it was pretty safe. Cleanliness: it was very clean. Every day someone took out the trash and cleaned the bathroom for us, which I didn't expect. They gave us a new, clean towel every day too. I really like these things about the hostel. Service: It depends on who you meet. The ladies that I talked to were all friendly and helpful. But there was a guy that was rather unhelpful and rude. I asked, ”Do you have data sim cards?” He said, ”No, we don't provide for that.” (Of course I knew the hostel didn't provide sim cards for free; I was asking if the hostel *sells* sim cards.) I asked, ”Do you know where I can get one? I can't get on the internet with the hostel wifi.” He said, ”There's no problem with the hostel wifi, otherwise a lot of people would be complaining about it.” (I wasn't complaining about the hostel wifi wasn't working; I was asking if he knew where I could get a sim card since I couldn't get on the internet to look for them.) Facilities: I like that there was a curtain on each bed. The bed and the room were also spacious enough. The windows were almost soundproof, isolating all the noises from the people drinking downstairs. The bathroom was also very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that there were brown stains on the blanket, which looked disgusting. There was also space for luggages (it's on the 2nd floor) if you don't want to store them in your room. There was, however, no kitchen or common areas. But the room was big enough and had a table. It was ok for me. One thing I really didn't like were the people who stayed in my room. All of them were obnoxious: wouldn't clean up after using the bathroom (hair everywhere), leaving their stuff in the bathroom/on the table so others couldn't use the space/table, kept coughing all night (meaning they were sick) and wouldn't open the windows for ventilation. I hardly had a good night's sleep because they kept coughing at night. But this wasn't the hostel's fault. It's those people's problems. All in all, I recommend staying at this hotel.

Atendimento excelente, funcionariso alegres e muit o simpáticos, café da manhã excelente pelo valor cobrado, acomodações ótimas. So uma pequena ressalva, um segurança moreno de barba, precisa ser um.pouco mãos educado e simpático com as pessoas que esquecem e fumam na escadaria da entrada do.Hostel, ele precisa aprender a falar com as pessoas, acho que ele pensa que é Polícia, do restante é tudo sensacional, um ambiente espetacular, um lindo e aconchegante hotel. Parabéns a adminisstação . Ate pensei em me candidatar e trabalhar lá.

Excelente ubicación, ya que el hotel está cerca de la estación de tren y del centro de la ciudad. El personal es amable y servicial. Buena política: recompensa a los huéspedes con $5 al día si no realizan el servicio de limpieza. El precio de la habitación es un poco elevado considerando el tamaño (12 o 17 m²) y las limitadas comodidades e instalaciones del hotel (no hay gimnasio ni piscina). Tenga en cuenta que algunos tipos de habitación no incluyen agua embotellada, zapatillas ni cepillo/pasta de dientes de cortesía.

Review of Our Stay at a Hotel in Amsterdam We recently stayed at a hotel in Amsterdam and had a mix of positive and negative experiences. First, let's start with the positives: What We Liked: The premises were quite nice. There's a bar downstairs, which is a great spot to unwind. Additionally, there are a few supermarkets and a traditional Dutch bakery right across the street, which made grabbing snacks and breakfast super convenient. The location is fantastic—just an 8-minute walk to the train station and a 4-minute walk to the bus and tram stops, making it easy to get around the city. The room was just as shown in the pictures. The mattress was comfortable, and there was ample space to organize our belongings during our stay. The receptionists were really kind and welcoming, which made our check-in and stay more pleasant. We also enjoyed the style of the hotel, especially the lovely lobby with two pianos, a comfortable sofa, and some books and local information to relax and read. What We Didn't Like: While we had read other reviews about noise issues and poor sound isolation, we thought we'd be okay with it, considering our home is located in a town center near nightclubs. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The noise wasn't from people talking but from doors slamming. From 11 pm until 3 am, there was a constant door slamming that made the floor and walls in our room vibrate every two to three minutes. It felt like we were next to a staff room or had a very active neighbor. To be able to sleep, we had to watch a movie until the slamming finally stopped. This constant noise didn't allow us to rest properly, and we woke up later than we wanted the next day. The slamming continued on the following day, so we decided to stay out as late as possible to avoid it. Fortunately, around 2 am, the noise decreased, and we managed to sleep. Additionally, there was a funny smell in the corridors and the toilet. I found it unpleasant, but my husband wasn't bothered by it. If you are sensitive to smells, this might be something to consider. However, if you're not particularly sensitive, like my husband, it might not be an issue. Conclusion: Overall, while the hotel's location, amenities, and staff were great, the noise from door slamming and the smell in the corridors were significant drawbacks for us. If these issues could be addressed, it would make for a much more pleasant stay.
