UUsuario invitadoWe had a great 2 nights stay at this Ryokan. Location was near Yufuin Floral Village, and around 20 mins walk from Yufuin JR station. It was a nice walk to Yufuin JR station as there were many shops and eateries that you can visit along the way. Alternatively, there is also bus 36 from Yufuin but terminal that would stop near to the ryokan.
The staff were really outstanding, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, a couple of them rushed to help us with our luggage and to also shelter us from the rain. During the entire stay, they made us feel very welcomed.
The Western/Japanese room that we booked was very spacious and had all the amenities we required. Note that this is a 2 storey living area - level 1 had a bathroom with private indoor and outdoor onsen as well as the living room, while level 2 had a toilet (w/o bath) and 1 western bedroom as well as 1 Japanese bedroom.
There are 4 public onsen in the ryokan. 2 for female and 2 for male. They would rotate it during the day and night to allow everyone to try out the different onsen.
We also had our breakfast and dinner at the ryokan as part of the package. The dishes were different on both days. The spread was huge and food tasted great. Note that there are very few places open at Yufuin during dinner time.

MMinaneko超出我意料之外非常之好的一間溫泉酒店！
首先這裏每間房都有自己的私人風呂，私隱十足，隨時隨地可以浸溫泉！ 酒店內環境優美！ 影相出片！ 碰巧遇到雪景，簡直就係錦上添花！
另外，房間設備齊全，而且10分乾淨！ 另外冬天去的我們是周圍都有暖爐，廁所都有，非常窩心！
我們是一泊兩食，食物好好食 ！ 食物非常有特色，感覺到餐廳的用心！ 非常滿意！
職員態度10分好，有善親和，令我有一種賓至如歸的感覺。
交通方面，我們原本打算開車過來，但是因為天氣問題取消了租車。 我們坐火車到 yufu eki，提前與酒店預約shuttle，10 分鐘左右就到達了酒店！
總括嚟講係一間非常之推薦的珍寶酒店！ 之後會再返嚟！

SsmilinglilwenThis must be the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in Japan. It is a traditional Ryokan with 3 Private Onsen available for reservation upon arrival. The scenery and ambience around the hotel were peaceful & very gorgeous. The mountain view from our room was fantastic. Besides, it took less than 10 mins walking distance to the famous Kinrik Lake! 😌🎐 Each guest could pick a 👘 for free too. The services was great and the staffs were attentive too.
We stored all our biggest luggages at Yufuin Station and only brought along light luggage because it is far away from station. Gentle reminder for the guest to book a taxi at least one day earlier before your departure. By the way, it was a lucky morning when it started to snow during our ryokan checked out! It made the Ryokan looked even more amazing! ❄️
The only regret was breakfast and dinner were both unavailable during reservation and there is no ryokan contact was available before arrival. It would be 100% if I were to taste the すきやき, Sukiyaki! 🥩🍲

UUsuario invitadoOur experience at Sanso Tanaka was unforgettably relaxing and comfortable! Our room was a spacious two single bed room, which also has an enclosed toilet and a sink area. Our room has a stunning view of the mountains surrounding Yufuin, which made the ambiance of our stay immersive and exquisite. The owners operate this quaint ryokan, and they are wonderful people. We can see the dedication and care they have put into the ryokan. Their breakfast bento is a highlight and a great way to start your day. It is delicious, nutritious, flavorful, and will keep you full for your day of exploration!
About their 3 private onsens... love it! They have 3 private onsens, perfect for waking up or winding down. I will let you experience that for yourself without spoiling too much. Towels, toiletries, robes, and a hair dryer are provided.
I think that this ryokan (hotel accomodation) is the best considering the value and amenities. I would definitely stay again. Until next time, Sanso Tanaka!

UUsuario invitadoStaying at this hot spring hotel during cherry blossom season created wonderful memories for my family and me. The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service—just a quick call from the station, and within 10 minutes, a car arrives to take guests directly to the hotel.
The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. Upon noticing that my father was using a cane, they kindly arranged a room for us without stairs, ensuring a more comfortable stay. The accommodation was spacious, featuring a private onsen and a massage chair, which made the experience even more relaxing. Since the hotel is near the mountains, there were a few insects, but it wasn’t a major issue.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and in the morning, guests could get fresh milk with breakfast. The hotel’s location was ideal—just a short distance from the shopping street and Lake Kinrin, making it easy to explore the area.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we truly enjoyed the experience.

UUsuario invitadoIs a good experience, I liked the Japanese style of it, the location is good, away from the Main Street for around 5mins walking distance. There is a local supermarket near by.
staffs can’t speak other languages but Japanese we used Google translate which worked well. I stayed 2 nights, breakfast and dinner were very good too.

EEinfachDillonThe hostel was very nice and had a cozy charm to it. I also met some very nice people there. There is an Onsen in the hostel, and you can get a satisfying breakfast for around 800 Yen. The owner was very kind and offers evening walks (which I highly recommend) and a ride to the station in the morning. The only downside is that it's an around 30 minutes walk uphill from Floral Village, but the view from there is worth it.
All in all I highly recommend it!
