Although the location of this inn is very convenient to Main St in Blowing Rock, it is the most dated place I have ever stayed and musty. The bedding isn’t great and we did not sleep well. The tv had almost no channels. The room was extremely cold when we arrived. You can tell that it and the gardens were once well-loved and probably carefully tended, and have so much potential, but now it feels very neglected. I hope someone will take care of it again. I see now that many of the good reviews are from years ago.

This Inn was a little disappointing in several ways. The first thing that hit us when we entered our room was the terrible carpet, which had seen its best days many years ago. It made the room seem old and dated, especially for the price. (We were on a road trip and stayed in many different venues - B & B's, historic hotels, motel chains, and AirB&B's. This was the poorest value of what we got for our money.) No breakfast - just an outdoor urn provided for coffee. It is an uphill walk to downtown Blowing Rock for the young and fit - otherwise you drive. The TV has limited viewing - just a minimum package cable subscription. Note: Blowing Rock is in general, an expensive area to stay in.

We arrived Sunday, April 28th and were greeted with a great 2 Queen room. Retro vibe that we love. Ice and snacks available to everyone. Great outdoor seating areas and gardens. We enjoyed Bloody Marys Monday morning which is a girls trip must. Highly recommend Azalea Garden Inn. Close walk to downtown.

A nice quiet and quaint Inn. It was clean, very close to the main drag of Blowing Rock and affordable. I wasn't able to take advantage of the firepit or gathering area but it is a great addition. The availability of coffee and snacks also nice. I would use it again and again!

Azalea Garden Inn was perfect for our 2-night stay in Blowing Rock. Conveniently located right in town with fresh coffee outside reception and breakfast options nearby walking distance. Room was incredibly spacious with a king bed. Price was great for the holiday weekend. Staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

The rooms are a little outdated but they are cozy and clean. This motel was very convenient to shopping and dining in the town of Blowing Rock. We really enjoyed our stay- I would book here again.

Television did not work. Called the office for help. No one was available to answer any questions until the following morning at which time we had already left. Very basic accommodations for the price.

We have been here before .. I would love to see the rooms bit more upgraded.. A bit too old fashioned and tired looking. Otherwise great spot an close to all..
