Motel 6 White, GA - Cartersville

Although recently remodeled, there are still a couple aspects within room that are in disrepair (peeling laminate on table and gaps in flooring joints)

The room was dirty. Some kind of orange-red substance was splattered all over the wall and TV screen. The toilet was dirty, seat had black marks on it. Tv remote was broken. The headboard was falling apart with the edging sticking out by at least a foot. Same with the mirror. The side chair in the room was filthy and greasy The pool was closed. And garbage was piled up and spilling onto the ground at the outside doors. If we weren’t exhausted from driving all day we would have went to another hotel Not worth $85.00.

Upon check in we were instantly abruptly told no visitors and no noise, that they have a lot of long term residents. Although they seem to be doing updates, room was still a bit outdated, new coat of paint wasn’t done very well. Edges in bathroom and room were kinda unfinished, toilet was practically against the wall and actually turned towards the wall. The worst part was the noises, got no sleep both nights due to people upstairs, sounded like they were dragging chairs and walking in heels. Not all was bad, and like I said it looks like they are updating the motel.

The location was convenient with easy access off and on to the interstate.

The check-in desk clerk was super friendly and enjoyed talking with her. However, I went to get a round of towels for 2 people that morning and this clerk acted new or afraid of people. She was not rude, just seemed as if she didn't have a clue. The non-smoking room smelt like smoke. The shower tub had a drainage problem. While taking my shower the tub filled to above my ankles with water. All being said, if ever I'm in that area and need to get a room to sleep during travel, I would give them another try.

We needed something last minute for a few hours of sleep and it worked perfect. It would have been nice to have a little breakfast before we left but all they had was coffee.

Entire motel is clean and quiet. Desk service is great. Wouldn't have minded a coffee pot in room but did have coffee near office.

Its a place to sleep. Beds were pretty comfy, but pillows were awful. They have done some updates on the exterior but the interior rooms were a little rough. It was clean, friendly staff. This motel allows pets so lots of barking but wasnt too late at night.

Clean property and friendly staff… 4 trips in 6 weeks and we have stayed here every time. Rooms are huge and clean
