Recientemente me quedé tres noches en el apartamento de Ella Green con mi pronto (13) y tuvimos una hermosa experiencia. Los acogedores apartamentos están en el corazón de la naturaleza, rodeados de una verdura lujosa, que le dio una atmósfera de selva tranquila y pacífica, con aves y pequeños monos jugando alrededor. El hotel es un boutique en Ella. La habitación que hemos estado teniendo tuvo una vista magnífica, tanto a la noche como al día. Nos despertamos temprano para disfrutar del sol que surge de nuestra habitación. La cena fue buena con música sofisticada, el músico tocó la Bata Nalawa (flute de Sri Lanka) hermosamente. Inténtalo en el Avocado en el desayuno (Pensé que sólo los chefs australianos pueden hacer buenas tostadas de Avocado 😊) Si el viaje comenzó de Colombo - Dumballa - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Yala - Gale - Colombo, entonces recomendo 2 noches de parada en este hotel. Usted disfrutará de la estancia y la recarga durante el resto del viaje.

I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

This hotel trades off the views which are undoubtedly quite lovely. My room was clean, and bed very comfortable. Overall, this is all very acceptable and the staff are excessively helpful and attentive which can't be faulted. The location is very good albeit up a steep hill from the main street thronging with restaurants. There are some challenges that would, otherwise, make this a luxury experience... selecting TV channels on the two remotes is clunky; there is no chair in the room other than a beanbag, so lounging on the bed is the only option; there's no luggage stand, so leaving open luggage on the floor is not ideal with occasional creepy crawlies around; the light switch is not within reach of the bed; the hot water for the shower never gets beyond tepid which is ok given the hot weather; shower gel and soap is limited to one small plastic bottle and a tiny hand soap which doesn't compare to modern luxury hotels offering refillable shower and hand gel; drinking water is limited to two small bottles during your stay unless you ask for more (they are very accommodating). So, while this independent hotel is lovely and welcoming, and a cut above most local options in Ella, it's not quite a polished luxury experience if that's what you're expecting. Overall I'd recommend Hotel Onrock as a great Ella option though.

LLucien P. FantkeGreat service from both brothers. Fantastic view. Great guidance and explanation. We had one brother showing us the temple which you see from your window in one of the two houses. We chose the deluxe version. Wonderful balcony. Location is great for the view but it takes a little to get to downtown. You are actually in Kitalella and not Ella. 800-1000 rupees for a tuk tuk ride to get from Momo to downtown Ella. Overall fantastic experience.

UUsuario invitadoThis is a wonderful place. I received the best advice on how to spend my days in Ella as well as enjoying some super breakfasts just a few yards from the centre of Ella. The owner was incredibly helpful, even organising a laundry service for me with a 24 hour turnaround. It’s also worth asking if you want to book a car to take you to your next destination. The son of the owner runs a long distance taxi service and took me to both Haputale and to Dickwella in the south for very reasonable rates.

With the narrow approach road & parking, which is common to the Ella area, we had doubts , but the owner Mr Manjula & his staff were attentive & had solutions to the comfort of every guest with no hazzle. Food was very tasty & served on time & though the place was full we were welcome any time with good sevice even at short notice. Room with Beddings & Bath were clean & nice and had enough space. View from the room balcony of Ella rock was pleasing & with greenery around, the birds were a plenty with their songs. Though it was a short stay, with their little input from staff we could use the time well & visited the surrounding attractions & it was time well spent. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & so a big Thank you to Rock side Inn.

GGrovesLa ubicación es en una colina muy fuerte, la mayoría de los coches no lo hacen, pero caminando y subiendo tarda unos 5 minutos o un tubo tuk puede llegar ahí. La habitación está muy cerca de la carretera principal y cerca de las principales atracciones (aproximadamente 20 minutos a pie) y está cómoda, caliente y limpia. El desayuno era un poco de fruta, con huevos hechos según su elección, un poco de tostadas y incluso nos dejaron probar los panqueques de coco que eran tan asombrosos. Todo fue sorprendente. Estabamos tan felizes allí y definitivamente quedaremos allí otra vez.

We had a wonderful stay here! It's a great location for anyone travelling solo, with friends or as a family as we did. It is within walking distance to Ella Town. Our room was comfortable, clean with a lot of space on the balcony to take in the view. The best part about the room was that you can relax on your bed and take in the gorgeous view of the Ella gap. The manager Indran looked after us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic Srilankan breakfasts he cooked! We would definitely recommend a stay at Ella Alpine to anyone visiting Ella!

UUsuario invitadoThe views from the room here are just like that on the website. It was great to sit out on the balcony enjoying a beer (available at the hotel) after a days walking. We wish we could have stayed longer. No air conditioning but fans available which was absolutely fine. They prepared an early breakfast for us before our train to Kandy. The town is just a short stroll along the railway track from the main part of town and the station.

For the location, it is next to the city centre so there are many restaurant nearby and there are many options that we can choose. However, the hotel is difficult to find and hair dryer, body wash and shampoo are not provided.
