Value for money - 2.8 / 5 Food spread - 3 / 5 Room amenities - 3 / 5 Things to do - 2 / 5 First visit - may be Revist - No Good time to visit - May be from Oct, post the rains and summer. We visited in July and the humidity saps you Whats good - 1) Quite, old property and it serves the purpose of cutting you off from the city. Surrounded by greenery and fields, which is good. The property does give a sense of being old - you can walk across different terraces and go to the top 2) Pool - that the best part though its a smallish one. Spend hours idling away 3) Activity - If you are a birder, you will find enough species to keep you engaged and, who knows, even a lifer too. Be sure to step out of the property for this. You can cycle around in the village. And there is a tractor ride (fun for city folks) and small pottery session. And then there are board games, TT, badminton, and a pool table Whats not good - 1) The property may be heritage but neither the design nor the landscape gives you any sense of heritage. Apart from the odd black and white photos and swords here and there, its like a rather rustic property done up a bit 2) Room is average, there is space but its feels economy, nothing plush compared to the rack rate. Room decor does not in particular connect with a heritage feel. Amenities were a challenge - Faucets were broken, wash basin had leakage, and wash room was not clean. If you don't want to open the bathroom window, there is no exhaust in the washroom. 3) Room / personal service while there did not seem encouraging, limiting visitors to the 3 meals of the buffet. They asked for evening snacks to be booked right at lunch. Everything else is 1/2 hour to 1 hour wait. 4) Dining - The decor, including cutlery, was below par. A big hall and a/c does not make for a good feel. The spread was limited. Non-veg folks have to suffice with 1 dish and you cant order what you want (but you can in snacks). Breakfast was worse - tea but no coffee. Overall, an economy feel. If you have been to better properties that offer a bit of continental fare and choices in Indian fare, this will be disappointing 5) Impersonal experience - there did not seem to be anybody like a GM of the property. The result - no one is going to ask you how your experience is or if they can make it better. The staff will fix your issues but that is about all. If you are looking for an anonymous stop, this is perfect. Much can be done for a better customer experience but, for now, its a bare minimum property.

We booked a family trip to this fort. Its located in a remote location. The area is surrounded by greenery and is well maintained. It is a Heritage property so not to expect 5 star premises. The rooms have been converted for guest stay. Rooms are spacious. Lot of activities can be performed in the premises, both indoor and outdoor. Bullock cart ride, Tractor ride , pottery are some of the attractions. The food is awesome. The taste is really good. The choices are although limited, but the taste is superb. Breakfast and any other eatables not mentioned in the package are costly, like 500 per pax breakfast is way to costly compared to the menu provided. For a day trip better have breakfast before reaching there or pack something. Lunch and evening snacks will be great in taste.

We were a group of 12 adults who decided to go here to celebrate my birthday. We found the listing online and spoke to the sales representative in Delhi, Ashad (Ananya Hotels). We clarified our reason to visit and he promised us a private area to party with music and chatter. He also promised that our food will be provided to us at this location. It all sounded awesome and we reached this rustic property around 2/2:30 in the afternoon as we were driving from Delhi. At first, on reaching there, we were given terrible service since they kept reminding us how every request of ours is "chargeable". Even if we wanted tea (which was a complimentary part of the package) served at our promised "private area" (which btw was being shared by ALL the other hotel guests), we were asked to PAY. This was just the beginning since everything here after was apparently "chargeable" even after paying for it in the room tariffs. Then, came evening/ early night around 8pm, we played some light music since we were there to celebrate a birthday and had made that ample clear to begin with. Around 11pm, we had the hotel staff come to ask asking us to reduce the volume of the music since the guests were getting agitated. We understood so we reduced it to a bare minimum (barely at about a volume of 3 on Alexa) and continued to sit by the bonfire chit-chatting. Now, all a sudden, we have a hotel guest who came and said he is getting disturbed and that he paid for a tranquil experience at Mud Fort and that we were spoiling it for him. While we empathized with him, the fact remained that we had paid for an experience as well and this guest did not seem to find a middle ground with us. By then it was already midnight and the Hotel ***ager came and shouted at us de***ding that we close the music immediately (which by the way at this point was so low that we ourselves couldn't hear it) and started misbehaving with us by screaming, shouting and fighting. We were a group of 6 men and 6 women and he ***** with another hotel staff started recording a view of the entire episode. When we told them to stop recording immediately, they blatantly lied to us saying they didn't have any video (which was later found in their phone gallery when we pressed them to show it to us.). Obviously our birthday party went for a toss. To top it all over, the *** who we booked the rooms through, Ashad, called us at 1am shouting at us and being absolutely rude. This torture didn't end here, btw.. Because the owner of the hotel finally decided to come and shout and "order" us to leave the hotel premises immediately. He was ada***t and continued to harass us. Leaving in the middle of the night was obviously not an option since the roads were risky and unsafe for us to travel on in the night and we did not wish to get robbed or kidnapped! Eventually, things settled down and they made us sign a document saying that we are all safe in the hotel and that was the only way for us to continue to stay at the pr

We have just completed our trip at mud fort kuchesar. Property is located at a remote location , surrounded by lush green fields of sugar cane . It is a nice place if you like peacefull environment away from the city. It is a well maintained property , however the staff is not very professional . you have to follow-up a lot for minor things, they gets irritated soon. There is nothing much to do in the property . so for one day stay it is ok. Staff needs to be more professional.

This place was an absolute disgrace! We went to celebrate a birthday and we were a group that was told that we would be given an area where we can play music all night. We spoke to the representative 'Ashad' about this before coming 1. We had cleared out certain points before our arrival which made us select this place and once there they went back on their word. The Hotel ***ager 'Atul' is an absolute ill behaved person who was sending hotel guests to harass us when we were actually sitting and just speaking in our designated area 2. They started forcing us to leave their property at 2 am in the morning. We had 5 women in our group and yet they had no regard considering how dangerous UP could be at night. 3. They were recording videos of women on our party. We even had foreign women guests and they made videos of everyone. When asked to show their phone, there was a lot of restrain. 4. Let alone the staff even the 'owner' showed up at 230am, had no regard of how to talk to someone, throwing his weight around just kept yelling at us to 'shut up and get out'. Finally, we had to give in to this fiasco and completely ruin our night. We were blackmailed into signing ridiculous papers at 230 am, otherwise were threatened to be thrown out in the middle of nowhere. The place is run by unethical, un-empathetic people who just care about money. It was also very unsafe for women. If you want to good have a good time, stay away from this place.

Room and bed Clean. Had to ask for mattress as 2 of us couldn't sleep as beds are small. Food is good but choice is quite limited. Toilets clean but old style. Even basic toiletries (tooth paste etc), bath mats etc missing. Frugal staff so service and facilities stressed. Good for a getaway from Delhi.
