El hotel más desagradable y sucio que he estado en. Cortinas limpias y cortinas arrancadas, piso de baño sucio, camas inestables sólo en el infierno!! La única cosa buena fue Alan en el bar y el recepcionista. Eso huele, tantos sin hogares como que entran.

I had the pleasure of a tour of The Chester Hotel before enjoying a delicious lunch with a work colleague. Being local we have both been for dinner and functions but never had the opportunity to explore more. This hotel has a perfect central location (5 minute taxi or 20 minute walk to the city centre). The Chester has great social/function spaces. A beautifully designed bar area with plenty seating options. Also the newer Gallery area which is a lovely bright space where we chose to eat lunch. The Granite Suite is a large function room which can accommodate 300+ guests for weddings etc but also has pull out walls to reduce the space for smaller functions. (This was being set up during our tour for a function that evening) They also have the Granite Balcony - the largest of the private dining rooms that doubles up as an incredible space for intimate gatherings. It’s possible to seat up to 20 guests for dining with access to a private outdoor area. The rooms were spacious and bright and ranged from classic to suites. The hotel is spread across 5 buildings with easy access between (although could be bit of a maze if you get lost). They also have a separate property out the back called “The House”. This can accommodate a maximum party size of 10 (8 adults and 2 children) with four super king rooms and one sofa bed. However there is no kitchen here so not self catering but still has full access to the hotel. Oh and our lunch in the Gallery was DELICIOUS 👌🏼

La gestión aquí es ruda. El estacionamiento no estaba disponible en el momento de la llegada y nos dijimos donde el único estacionamiento disponible era en un parque público de automóviles que pagaba 18 libras al día. La pregunta llegó a las 5:30 de la mañana siguiente, cuando se oyó en la habitación un gran ruido y un gran ruido. La vista de la ventana también no existía y miraba directamente en una pequeña zona de cementerio y luego en otra pared. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero no se podía encontrar en el hotel. A la noche, el personal de la habitación se ha cambiado a una habitación en el cuarto de piso. ¡No hay ruido, me senté abajo, pero luego me desperté a las 6:00 y estaba aún a punto de oír la música bombeada y el sonido obvio de un instructor de gimnasio - desde el cuarto piso. ¿Puede ser un problema para todas las habitaciones que se enfrentan al techo del gimnasio, no estoy seguro si las habitaciones del otro lado podrían tener incluso mejor? No creo que me quedaré otra vez!
