Hemos tenido la oportunidad de estar alojados la semana pasada, de lunes a domingo. Una semana espectacular. Habitación muy amplia para mis dos hijos y para nosotros, en ningún momento sentí que el espacio era pequeño a pesar de haber una cama supletoria, la cuna y nuestra cama. Dar las gracias del trato que hemos recibido por parte de todo el personal, desde la entrada hasta la salida. Destacar el personal de animación que estuvieron muy pendientes de mi hijo el mayor que le hicieron participe en todo y nos hicieron pasar una semana muy amena y divertida con las actividades. Mención especial también al personal que se encontraba en el buffet y en el Thalassa, era todo atenciones hacia nosotros y nuestros dos hijos. La comida muy buena, de calidad y había variedad. En ningún momento hemos echado de menos nada, teníamos todo lo necesario en el hotel, si que nos hubiese gustado que la playa estuviera algo mejor, se solucionó llendo a una playa de arena fina que se encuentra a menos de cinco minutos andando. Sobre todo gracias Ezio, Aurelio, Víctor (Animación) Mabel, Toñi (Alborán) y Marta(Thalassa), por tratarnos como lo habéis hecho.

El golf es grande y excelente valor en temporada. Tienes que estar al desayuno a las 9am para evitar copas y copas durante 5 minutos para tener salones solares. An Impromptu stay over for one night. Tried to book it on Hotels.com but communication swerve in adequate. Drove to the Hotel and were greeted by excellent front desk lady. She couldn’t find our link to Hotels.com and immediately offered us an even better deal on the junior suite, to include breakfast and parking at a slightly lower pice e en. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the suite was 4*+ with a huge wraparound balcony with a 2 seater hot tub. Great Impression throughout.

I was looking for a cheap basic hotel as near as possible to the centre of Estepona, and the Hotel Mediterraneo far exceeded my expectations. For a 1* hotel it was surprisingly nice inside, and appeared to have been recently decorated. The location is perfect, directly on the beachfront, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old town centre, a large number of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The harbour is around 2km away, 25 minutes walk along the coast. The hotel has a 24 hour reception, which was welcome, and made the hotel feel safe and secure. The front door is locked at night, so you need to ring the doorbell to gain access if you return late, but this is not an issue as there is always a member of staff at the reception. All of the staff I encountered during my stay were very friendly and helpful - after check-out I was not due to travel home until late in the evening, and the staff let me leave my suitcase at reception during the day. A lift services all floors. My room was of a reasonable size, and despite booking a single room got a full double room, on the top (5th) floor of the hotel. The room had a powerful air conditioning system with a working thermostat that included a timer function, so the room was always a pleasant temperature. There was no safe available in the room for valuables. There was no fridge/minibar, but the reception area had vending machines offering drinks and snacks. Otherwise, the central location means there are supermarkets and shops nearby. The bathroom was spacious and included a walk-in shower, with an overhead 'rainfall' style shower, as well as a detachable handheld showerhead. Shower soap and hand soap were provided. I think the drain was slightly clogged, as the water did drain quite slowly, but not slowly enough to cause any issues. The room was clean and tidy, and was cleaned daily by the housekeepers whilst I was out. Considering it is a 1* hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again. Amazing value for money and one to consider for cheap but high quality accommodation.

En general todo muy bien. Tuvimos un pencarce con el coche antes de la llegada... y llegamos muy tarde.. y nos compensaron con una habitación superior. Pero bueno.. eso no es lo mejor. Lo mejor es la atención de todo el personal.. responsables, camareros, recepción, limpieza....etc etc. La animación decente ... aunque comparado con el gran nivel de todos los otros profesionales del hotel... un poco por debajo... pero bueno. .decente. Lo que si que la animación es casi todo en Frances y limita un poco a la hora de participar... aunque también es entendible por que habia muchos huespedes de Francia... aunque creo que se podría combinar por igual los 2 idiomas o incluso en Ingles también... como en otros lugares que hemos estado. Pero que quede claro que en general todo excelente y la atención super buena.

El hotel está muy bien preparado, pero tiene el inconveniente que hay que ir a él en coche porque está en una urbanización aislada. No están cerca ni Estepona ni Marbella. La comida muy buena, pero tuve que cenar dos noches porque no estaba cubierta y me costó cada cena 25€, bastante caro. Como punto a favor, decir que reservé una habitación individual y me dieron una triple.

Fui un finde semana con mi pareja con pensión completa y ha sido una gran experiencia. Muy buena calidad-precio en todo. El personal muy atento, simpático y agradable. Las comidas muy buenas. Los desayunos muy completos, había de todo, pan, croasanes, napolitanas, galletas, cereales, fruta, huevos a la planta, tortilla, bacon, zumos, etc. Las comidas es cierto que para algunas personas puede parecer poca variedad, pero para nosotros estaba perfecto. Variedad de verduras, 1 plato de carne y pescado ya preparados (al horno, en salsa…) y otro que te hacían en el momento a la plancha. Y siempre arroz o pasta. Fruta y postres. Las comidas eran caseras y estaba riquísimas. El hotel tiene parkin gratuito. La piscina muy limpia y con hamacas de sobra y zona de césped. Una experiencia para repetir.

Hemos tenido la oportunidad de estar alojados la semana pasada, de lunes a domingo. Una semana espectacular. Habitación muy amplia para mis dos hijos y para nosotros, en ningún momento sentí que el espacio era pequeño a pesar de haber una cama supletoria, la cuna y nuestra cama. Dar las gracias del trato que hemos recibido por parte de todo el personal, desde la entrada hasta la salida. Destacar el personal de animación que estuvieron muy pendientes de mi hijo el mayor que le hicieron participe en todo y nos hicieron pasar una semana muy amena y divertida con las actividades. Mención especial también al personal que se encontraba en el buffet y en el Thalassa, era todo atenciones hacia nosotros y nuestros dos hijos. La comida muy buena, de calidad y había variedad. En ningún momento hemos echado de menos nada, teníamos todo lo necesario en el hotel, si que nos hubiese gustado que la playa estuviera algo mejor, se solucionó llendo a una playa de arena fina que se encuentra a menos de cinco minutos andando. Sobre todo gracias Ezio, Aurelio, Víctor (Animación) Mabel, Toñi (Alborán) y Marta(Thalassa), por tratarnos como lo habéis hecho.
