Lovely little B&B with good transports links. Stayed here the night before flying back home after a week on the island. The host was super helpful, arranged airport transports and even left a complementary breakfast. Checking in and out was quick. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The room was hot and although there was fans it didn’t help much (air conditioning would have been nice). Fresh and clean towels available. There was also a kitchen area and lounge. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Highly recommend as it was cheap and comfortable and host was friendly.

Hotel céntrico aunque está en un callejón, pero llegas enseguida al meollo. Muy buena recepción y atención. Simpáticos. Nos tocó la habitación 602 que da a un patio con columnas encantador. La variedad del desayuno baja un poquito y no hay cafetera o no la he visto para café italiano. Se duerme muy bien. El hotel es muy bonito y acogedor. Salas separadas con bonita estética y buen gusto.

The picture that appears when searching for this hotel is deceiving because the hotel is not on a big piazza and is not the building shown. The hotel is not on a particularly busy street (this is good), at least not on the weekend that we were there, and it is in a good location to see the main sites in Catania. We had a lovely room, which looked like it was recently updated and modernized. One glitch - I am 5'2” and my feet didn't touch the floor when sitting in the lavatory! There is a good selection of breakfast items, and I particularly recommend what I think was a pistachio cake with frosting of some type (it was delicious!). The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. My extended family had some laughs trying to figure out how to open the elevator door from the inside. If you are American, you may want to ask the desk staff before getting in it or risk feeling very dumb! The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport, which is convenient for an early flight.

El Wi-Fi no es fuerte, no hay dientes ni remolques. La ubicación del hotel es un problema. Pero lo encontramos en McDonald's.

En el B&B Elephant's Smile de Catania he encontrado cosas absolutamente inesperadas ...por ejemplo ... no es de todos los días y en la normalidad, si no estás en el hotel, incluso de un cierto espesor, encontrar limpieza, la limpieza y la saneamiento de todos los lugares comunes, para no hablar de las habitaciones, realmente elogios, esto es seguir ...la limpieza primero, déjeme un elogio especial y un agradecimiento a los que se ocupan de ello, con lena y la capacidad ...!!! My wife and I spent four nights at Ciuri di Strata while in Catania for a friend's wedding. We have stayed in many places in many cities around the world and this is one of our favorites anywhere. The building was restored recently, so you get to enjoy the beautiful 1920s ceilings and tile floors with modern comforts. The B&B is quiet, well maintained, and very clean. Alessandra and Giuseppe are perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we enjoyed their warm hospitality and friendliness. The daily breakfast is a highlight! Don't miss the freshly pressed juice.

Excelente, mi esposa y yo estuvimos dos días, y nos recibieron Melina y su esposo Luigi, dos personas amables, educadas y muy cordiales. Nos dieron instrucciones detalladas que seguimos al pie de la letra para que degustáramos la comida callejera local, desde el bocadillo de carne de caballo hasta los granizados, los restaurantes de pescado, etc etc.... todo en el clavo. Hay cuatro habitaciones, todas inspiradas en muebles sicilianos del siglo XIX, la nuestra se llamaba Donna Fernanda, pequeña pero bien cuidada, baño pequeño con cabina de ducha grande, balcón, etc. abundante y hay de todo, Melina y su marido Luigi, también preparan tortillas, realmente excelentes y servidas con productos de calidad. La estructura internamente está limpia y bien mantenida, el exterior del edificio deja algo que desear pero está ubicado a pocos metros de Castello Ursino y cerca del Duomo, y un lugar estratégico para visitar Catania. Sin duda volveremos y recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel a todo el mundo.

We stayed in two junior suites at this hotel, which is centrally located. The rooms were modern and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was parking available close to the hotel, which was convenient. The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing breakfast. There were many locally-sourced and homemade products available, making it one of the best breakfasts we had during our trip to Sicily. You could tell that everything was made with high-quality ingredients and care. However, the hotel's central location meant that it was not very quiet, especially due to the bars across the street. In addition, we had an issue with a smelly toilet in our room. Despite these drawbacks, we would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with a modern touch and friendly staff, even if it comes at the cost of a bit of noise. The incredible breakfast alone is worth the stay.

Las zonas comunes mejor conservadas que las habitaciones que eran grandes y limpias. Desayuno completo y variado, con un jefe de sala ,auténtico profesional. El pero : no se entiende que bajo el tejadillo del exterior de un hotel de 4 estrellas durmieran 4 indigentes ,la acera de alrededor llena de plásticos y papeles y malas olores. No quiero parecer una “ insensible “ con este tema ,aunque la sensación era de malestar y mala conciencia,pero ese lugar no parece el más adecuado para que esas personas vivan.

Esta área está relativamente fuera del sitio, no es conveniente caminar desde la estación de tren, los taxis o los autobuses son mejores. Las personas que se alojan en el hotel son bastante variadas, pero el servicio del hotel es atento. El desayuno no es rico sino fresco. Personalmente, creo que toda la ciudad de Catania no tiene muchas características, por lo que es adecuada para alojarse durante el descanso de larga distancia.

Catania nos dejó un recuerdo loco. El dueño del bed and breakfast se escapó y no nos entregaron las llaves. Esa noche fue el carnaval de la playa en Catania. El hotel es muy difícil de decidir. No hay lugar para quedarse, pero afortunadamente reservamos una noche aquí. Bonito hotel, servicio servicial y buena agua caliente. Recomendado para vivir. Hay pocas plazas de aparcamiento en la entrada y hay plazas de aparcamiento en la calle. Pero cuidado con la zona ZTL

El desayuno era muy bueno y el restaurante tenía una bonita vista de la piscina. Pero no hay autobús de enlace del aeropuerto .... puede ayudar a llamar al coche al aeropuerto 25 euros no golpean la mesa. Las instalaciones de la habitación también son muy antiguas, aunque hay un balcón, pero el balcón da a la sala de ordenadores ... La actitud del camarero está bien.

En general, es un buen hotel. Sin embargo, es mejor confirmarlo con el hotel de antemano, no confiar en el tiempo de la agencia de viajes, y hacerlo en el tiempo de estancia y salida. Mi tarjeta de estancia está escrita 13:00-15:00, así que llegué al hotel a las 14:00, pero me confundi mucho porque nadie. Incluso si lo considero más tarde, me gustaría saber si el tiempo que se enumera en el certificado de exhibición es demasiado largo.

The hotel is dissapointing. Has a good location and wifi, but unfortunately it is very dirty. Location is very good, close to the Piazza del Duomo. Parrarel to the main street. Contactless check in and check out. Good wifi connection. Dirt everywhere - dusty floors, dust in the bathroom, dirty sink and toilet. Rust in the shower. Paint peeling from the wall in the bathroom. View from the window (room nr 1). Dirty wall from coffee. Dirty coffee machine. I contacted with the customer service via WhatsApp and I was told I can try another room, which bathroom condition was disguisting as well. I decided to stay in the one I was check in already. They have told me that they have scheduled deep cleaning for winter (I was staying there in September).

Aunque no está el pleno centro, el paseo por la Vía Etnea, y las vistas del volcán en el balcón, lo compensa. Está localizado en la vía principal de Catania, al lado de muchísimos sitios para comer (recomiendo Savia y sus arancini); el sitio es nuevo y está bien cuidado. Las habitaciones muy grandes, y puedo decir q es el mejor colchón en el que he dormido fuera de mi casa, y las almohadas tb muy cómodas. Anderson, el chico de la recepción ha sido muy muy amable; atento y simpático, nos recomendó muchos sitios y consejos para trenes, autobuses… Lonque menos me gusto, es q no hubiera alguien siempre en recepción, quizá porque estoy acostumbrada a los hoteles de siempre

Camp1us es un alojamiento muy agradable en una ubicación confortable. Está muy agradable y útil personal, habitaciones limpias y modernas, desayuno decente. Muy cómodo, fácil de reservar y seguro también. Los huéspedes son principalmente universitarios y jóvenes, pero muy considerados.

Suite 35 è un B&B in posizione centralissima, a piedi si raggiungano tutti i principali monumenti. L'alloggio è in un palazzo storico e perfettamente ristrutturato all'interno. E' spazioso , pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort, che raramente si trovano in altri posti (Spazzolino e dentifricio+ ciabatte). Silenzioso nonostante si trovi in una zona frequentata la sera.Letto molto comodo che ci ha consentito di dormire profondamente fino a mattino. Ornella è stata davvero gentile e professionale, ci ha consigliato come muoverci e i migliori ristoranti.Sempre disponibile e gentile , ci ha lasciato il suo cell per qualsiasi evenienza. Colazione super abbondante, non mancava nulla, incluso la crema al pistacchio, la mia preferita:)Suite 35 super lo consiglierei a tutti!

Buena posición en un camino lateral que conduce a la carretera que lleva directamente a Duomo. El B&B se encuentra en un palacio histórico (por supuesto, la estructura es vieja, esto es que debe tenerse en cuenta) en el segundo piso, con la entrada que puede hacerse con un teclado numérico gracias al código que se da después de la entrada. Muy bonita la sala de estar muy acogedora y la habitación muy espaciosa, con el aire acondicionado que nos ha salvado de la ebullición de Catania. decoración retro que llama al palacio histórico, pero con los conforts suficientes para una buena estancia. El desayuno se puede realizar en un bar con un ambiente muy agradable, a pocos pasos del B&B. Sin embargo, el punto de fortaleza de esta estructura es la bondad y la disponibilidad de los propietarios, en particular Serena, que tiene una atención del huésped realmente muy ¡Atenta y que, sobre todo, propone experiencias muy agradables, curiosas y atractivas para hacer la visita de Catania y las zonas adyacentes realmente sugerente! Consejo el aperitivo al sol en la terraza panorámica que se ve en la plaza y en la Etna. Los convenios del B&B con otras instalaciones y servicios son muy interesantes y la red de contactos que crearon los gestores es realmente ganador. Gracias por la experiencia que nos ha hecho vivir.

Hotel 4 stelle??? Non credo! Sembra un grande hotel invece ho avuto una bruttissima esperienza. Solo la vista mare è carina. Camera sporca. Capelli a terra. Stanza piena di zanzare. Cuscini scomodi. Dicono di avere Sky ma non è vero. Alla spa non ti permettono di prenotare. Accedono solo gli esterni. Cassaforte non funzionante. Colazione non più di cornetti e uova insomma una grande delusione

B & B Gisira was a fantastic place to stay for our family of 7, in December 2023. We stayed for 6 nights, wish we could have stayed longer. The host was great, anything we needed she’d help us out. We were close to everything, shops, cafes, fish market, attractions and bus stop. We had a triple room and my brother had the quad, the rooms were spacious enough and we also had a balcony, which was great. Loved having the shops right on our doorstep. Highly recommend B&B Gisira.

Soggiornato con la famiglia per 3 gg. Devo dire tutto TOP. Emanuele e Giorgio fantastici!!! Camere belle, puliti e accoglienti, bagno bene. Colazione non eccessiva ma prodotti tutti ottimi.. consiglio le brioches... buone buone buone, quella al pistacchio da fuori di testa!!!! Si trova a 300 metri dalla piazza principale basta percorrere via Vittorio Emanuele... il B&B si trova fronte fontana in un portone marrone. Devo dire che per visitare catania o come punto d'appoggio per visitare una parte di Sicilia questo B&B è quello giusto!!!!

Gran hotel muy buen situado. Excelente trabajo de recepción y una maravillosa y amplia habitación. Cama enorme y comodisima, buena wifi, servicios y buen desayuno muy variado. De lo mejor que hay en la ciudad. Buen cuarto de baño y un trato acorde a la categoría del hotel. Recomendable!!!

Excellent location, the place was very clean and central. The possibility to use the private parking it’s so useful when staying in the town centre. The owner was very friendly and super nice! All the staff goes above and beyond if something is needed, amazing people! Loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

Un hotel de 5 estrellas lujo que debería tener solo 3. El servicio poco amable, la carta del único restaurante para cenar escasa. Las habitaciones sucias y el hotel viejo. La vista a la playa Dana sobre el parking y la playa privada del hotel no existe es una pocilga llena de basura. Nos marchamos antea de tiempo porque era un timo. Wifi no funcionaba y buffet vacío....

These rooms (not suites) are in an excellent location. 10/10 In the old building, they are all ( I think there are 6 or 7 rooms total) on the 3rd floor and luckily enough there is a private elevator especially made for the rooms. Breakfast is served in the room and they explain that it is ”Italian breakfast” meaning that it consists of one tea or coffee and one croissant or a local sweet. Served in a very small tray with no extra plates or napkins quite difficult to enjoy. The rooms are as pictured in the photos on the hotel's site. Perfect mattresses, and excellent Wi-Fi. They have given great importance to design (of which they seem to be very proud of..) which is nice but according to my personal experience has quite a few ”mistakes” which make one's stay a bit not so perfect..For example (in my room) on one side of the bed there was a big gap which was quite likely to fall in, especially at night. Also, the lighting was not enough.. Some rooms have no view at all, luckily I chose one with a view which of course was more expensive. !! The worst part is the entrance of the building which is simply ...awful and dirty . It is a sort of internal small yard as most of the old buildings in the historic center have, but this one was one of the worst. Garbage was all around and even the entrance to the private lift was in total decay. As a result, I do not find a good value-for-money relationship. P.S When I booked the room they gave me a non-refundable price which I accepted and paid since it was just a week before my arrival. 2 or 3 days later there was an explosion at the Etna volcano and the news was all around the media in my country so I thought I could postpone my trip for a couple of days. So I called them and asked, if I could change the dates to just a few days later always according to THEIR availability. They simply refused telling me that it was NOT refundable. I explained that I was NOT asking for a refund but a change of dates always according to the dates that suited THEM. But they did absolutely NOTHING not even trying to be polite. Of course not wanting to lose my money I went, but I found that not only unprofessional but also rude.!!

Die Unterkunft ist okay, aber mehr auch nicht. Mit über 100 Euro pro Nacht pro Zimmer finde ich es für Sizilien ganz schön teuer und das, was wir dafür gekriegt haben war auch deutlich schlechter als in allen anderen Unterkünften, wo wir während unserer Sizilienreise übernachtet hatten. In der Dusche war Schimmel, das Waschbecken war undicht und die Klospülung funktionierte nicht richtig. Frühstück war okay für 7 Euro.
