We chose this hotel as we wanted to be in the old centre of Lille for a short break, and the location was indeed excellent. However, for a four star hotel the room was very basic. We knew it would be small, and there was good air conditioning and a kettle which is always a plus. But there were no drawers or even shelves on which to put clothes, simply a small cupboard with half a dozen hangers on a rail. Also there was no desk or equivalent, simply a small rickety table on wheels. The fridge had the safe balanced on top of it within a tatty cabinet with the kettle on top. And finally there were no glasses or cups in the room simply 4 paper cups , surely a health and safety issue with boiling water from a kettle, and certainly not what one would expect in a four star hotel. All in all a very disappointing room for the price we paid.

Elegimos este hotel basándonos en los comentarios de otros viajeros y no nos decepcionó. La ubicación está perfectamente situada en el borde del antiguo centro de la ciudad de Lille, con fácil acceso a restaurantes, tiendas y vida nocturna. La recepcionista que nos registró fue excepcionalmente cálida y amable (algo que no estamos acostumbrados a venir de París!). El hotel es muy nuevo, con una decoración elegante y lúdica. La habitación está limpia y la cama súper suave y cómoda. Hay muchos canales de televisión (una rareza en Europa especialmente en hoteles más pequeños) y mini bar gratuito, lo cual es un buen gesto. Una muy buena variedad en el desayuno con productos fríos y calientes y jugo de naranja recién prensado. Excelentes pasteles! La única queja que tuvimos fue que la iluminación azul de la habitación no se podía apagar (el interruptor probablemente estaba roto) y tuvimos que llamar a alguien a medianoche. No lograron arreglarlo, pero propusieron una solución y fueron muy educados y se disculparon durante todo el intercambio. Encontramos este hotel con una excelente relación calidad-precio y sin duda lo recomendaríamos para una estancia de fin de semana.

The location of this hotel is great. You are literally just round the corner from Le Grande Place and only about 9 minutes’ walk from the Euralille station. The place is clean and rather small. Breakfast is included in the price, which is a bonus. Breakfast is a typical continental style with ham, cheeses, pastries, eggs, etc. it was perfectly fine. Six of us stayed here in six rooms over the weekend and found it a great base from which to explore the city. It was also a reasonable price and the staff were friendly and spoke English. There were two downsides (nowhere is perfect). Firstly, the heating in my room was very erratic. When we arrived it was 1C outside and my room was cold. I turned up the electronic control to 24C but it did absolutely nothing at all. Next morning at breakfast I reported this. 10 mins later I was told it had been checked and was working perfectly. I was curious. When I got back to my room I found the heating was still not working. The room was cold and even turning the thermostat to 28C produced no warm air from the grille whatsoever (even after waiting 20 mins). I therefore turned the thermostat down to 19C and went out for the day. When I got back I could see that somebody had turned the thermostat up to 27C and the room was exceptionally warm. I turned it down to 19C. The temperature dropped, and dropped until the room was quite cold again. Nothing I did could turn that heating back on. So I gave up. The second downside? The toilet paper in the bathroom was ridiculously small. Each square being a little over the size of a postage stamp. Come on Ibis. Install some proper toilet paper like people use at home. Apart from these two downsides, I would stay here again. My colleagues, who didn’t have problems with their heating, but who also commented on the toilet paper, would agree.

Si quieres ir a Lille, NO BUQUE Aquí, nunca lo harás!! Reservamos este hotel en mayo de 2022, para dos viajes en septiembre y octubre de 2023 para la Copa del Mundo de rugby, bien adelantado y ganando buenos precios. El hotel es un hotel de vacaciones, donde se encuentran los más pequeños, y que se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. Una vez es frustrante..... sin duda no lo harían otra vez..... Ahora han cancelado nuestra reserva de septiembre, reclamando trabajos de renovación que no estarán completos. Así que han cancelado la reserva, y *********** han proporcionado un estudio de cama fuera de Lille como una alternativa «apropiada».... para cinco adultos 🤦🏼! Incompetente, fraudulento, ladrones. No se encargue, se encargará de hacerlo y cancelará, dejando que recoja la pestaña.

Whilst I appreciate that the city was busy with visitors for the Rugby World Cup going on over the weekend, the room was very basic and the price paid for just a bed (didn't include breakfast) was rather steep. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful when they could - parking was in a nearby multistorey which was difficult to find within all of Lille's one way streets! Location wise - very good, right in the centre of the city, very close to Lille railway station. But the hotel is rather in need of a serious make over, it is decidedly run down and whilst comfortable enough, maybe it's rustic charm is what people like! Overall, yes it was fine but the price just for a bed for a couple of nights ... might not be for me to come back again.

El hotel es muy nuevo. Pero no se siente como un hotel de cinco estrellas, es más como un rápido negocio de alta gama. Lille tiene menos hoteles con estrellas y Baliari es una buena opción. La ubicación es muy buena, a 3 minutos de la estación de tren y hay grandes plazas comerciales cercanas. También hay un parque frente al hotel donde se puede hacer jogging por la mañana. No hay muchas opciones para el desayuno. En general, es satisfactorio

I used this hotel as we (3 middle aged blokes) traveled to Lille for the Rugby World Cup. I suspect if you travel at any other time you will get it significantly cheaper than we managed to but it was still reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Firstly the location is great, a 5 minute walk from the Eurostar, a 2 minute walk to the train/metro line & 2 minute walk to the city center which is full of bars & cafes. Check in was very smooth the staff were very friendly (as they were throughout the stay) & spoke in good English which was useful as my GCSE French is a long forgotten memory. You get a proper key & this can be left at reception when leaving the hotel to explore. We were on the first floor so used the stairs but there was a lift option if you needed it. The room was plenty big enough, I read other reviews saying they were small ours was fine. A double bed & a single with a small desk, plenty of space to move around. The bathroom too was plenty big enough for a weekend stay. The beds are on the small side & it was cosy sharing the double but it does advertise what size beds they offer so it’s not a complaint. The pillows are thin & even with the extras available in the room are a little uncomfortable. The bathroom is fine, we had a shower in the bath, my only complaint is that there wasn’t anywhere to attach it to the wall so you had to hold it & shower, this meant the water would spray across the whole bathroom is your aim was slightly off, we used a lot of towels just to ensure the floor was flooded. We’re all pretty heavy sleepers so didn’t hear too much noise despite being in the front of the hotel but I think it could be an issue if you’re a lighter sleeper. The plumbing is quite loud & when the room above flushed or used the shower it did sound like it was about to come through the ceiling but we didn’t spend enough time in the room for it to be a concern. Overall I think this is a good friendly hotel for those traveling on a budget in a excellent location for you to go off & explore Lille.

I prepared a review after our stay in room 127, 15/8/22, but due to its content, I waited for a response from the hotel itself. While being promised that action will be taken, I am not entirely convinced so will leave it up to you to decide whether or not you want to stay here... My children and I were covered in approx 50 bed bug bites each. All down our arms and legs and on my daughter's face. We did not realise until later in the afternoon, but the psychological trauma of the thought of bed bugs crawling all over us while we slept has been terrible. Disgusting and made us feel sick. Our bites were painful and will take weeks to heal. In the height of summer, we had to cover up our arms and not tell anyone we had bed bugs bites because of the embarrassment that would cause us. I washed everything and ourselves as soon as we got home, and spent sleepless nights with a magnifying glass looking for bugs. I bought mattress encasements for our beds and sprayed insecticide, hoovered everything in all creases and folds on the mattresses and beds. Like a woman paranoid of bed bugs being brought home from France. The response from the hotel when I informed them was basically 1. well no one else has complained, 2. but they will attend to it and 3. bed bugs can appear in clean hotels so it is not a sign if uncleanliness. You decide if you want to stay here. I think any bad reviews are removed. The reviews I did manage to find are quite old, 2018 and 2019, which also mentioned bed bugs. Should have read those before I booked as it has obviously been a problem for the hotel for a while. Shame as the rooms were well laid out and it was quiet. But there is no care and attention to cleanliness apart from a quick change of sheets and towels. The sofa bed was broken too. We certainly will not be staying there again.

El hotel es hermoso y limpio, aunque cada habitación tiene un diseño diferente, por lo que la calidad puede variar un poco. El hotel está infestado con mosquitos y no tiene aire acondicionado. Mi habitación no tenía salidas cerca de la cama, lo que dificulta la conexión a mi teléfono o a los fans.

El hotel está situado en una zona de cerca de la estación de tren y en un gran centro comercial, así como en muchos restaurantes. A pesar del ruido ocasional en las calles, fue muy fácil ignorarlo al cerrar las ventanas isolación parecía estar en punto. La habitación era limpia y el personal era amable y útil. No obstante, nuestra estadía fue una muy buena experiencia.

Este hotel Campanile está situado en La Madeleine y a unos medios kilómetros de la estación de Lille Europe. También se encuentra a pocos pasos de la parada de tranvía Romarin. Mi habitación era bastante básica, pero suficiente para mis necesidades. La habitación era muy confortable, con ropa suficiente para acostar el espacio y la preparación de té y café. Una excelente estancia en el hotel Kanai, idealmente situado, donde la recepción es muy humana y caliente: desde la llegada, teniendo en cuenta nuestras equipajes y la duración de nuestra estancia, el gerente nos ofreció una habitación en el primer piso, en lugar de en el cuarto piso, inicialmente previsto. La habitación era muy grande y bien equipada. El minibar fue relleno diariamente y todo su contenido era realmente libre. La temperatura de la habitación estaba bien gracias al aire acondicionado poderoso pero silencioso. El ruido de la calle no entraba en la habitación ni sonidos desde la habitación adyacente. Teníamos comodidades en Porque hotel. La cama era excelente. Así fue el limpieza. Apreciamos la oferta de verdunque, lo que significa que mantuvimos nuestras toallas durante nuestra estancia para mejorar la huella ecológica. El personal era muy amable y útil. El desayuno buffet era variado y amplio. El hotel está situado cerca de la Place Rihour y la hermosa Grand Place de Lille. Alquilamos un parque de estacionamiento del hotel en una garaje de estacionamiento seguro cerca del hotel, pero hicimos la mayoría de nuestros viajes por metro, por ejemplo, a Roubaix y Tourcoing. Teníamos una de nuestras mejores experiencias de vacaciones en Why hotel. ¡Recomendado!

The area which the hotel is located in is an interesting mixture of part run down and part brand new buildings. The nearest underground station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel building itself is nice, especially the inside bit. Staff are friendly. (Comfort) room is small but well equipped, there’s even a coffee machine for your convenience. One evening there was a very putrid smell lingering on for a few hours, that wasn’t so nice. There was one big issue though. By check in they looked me dead in the eye and told me that there would be no housekeeping whatsoever. Niks. Nada. Nothing at all. Apparently that’s a directive from the French government (!?) because of COVID you see. Now I found nothing about said directive online and I have not experienced such thing in hotels as recently as last week; what I did find was that it is now Best Western’s very own policy these days. (So aforesaid excuse sounds very much like corporate bs to me.) Now I don’t know about you, but under the current circumstances I hoped they’d ramp up their cleaning policies instead of abandoning them completely. I hope they did find a way to clean the room after the previous guest before me, all they have to do is implement that process on a daily basis. If I wanted to take down garbage and make up the bed myself, I wouldn’t pay top dollar for a hotel room. Doctors and nurses must find a way to keep themselves and us safe in a much more exposed environment so a hotel should find a way too, especially because their business is depending on the cash we guests bring in.

Las camas eran básicas pero cómodas y nos dormimos bien las dos noches. El baño tenía incluso un baño que era grande.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable y tranquilo con personal amigable. Las buenas zonas comunes tanto dentro como fuera incluyen la mesa de piscina, los juegos, el piano eléctrico, etc. Un poco ambivalente actitud hacia el tabernaculo central (no hay señales de fumar junto a las barras de cenizas!). Nos quedamos durante la bradría anual cuando Lille se convierte en un gigantesco mercado de segunda mano para el fin de semana y se excluyen los coches, lo que duplica el costo de alojamiento. El evento fue muy bien gestionado, una gran fiesta de calle (puede ser ＞100.000 participantes?) buena naturaleza para las familias, con una operación de limpieza impresionantemente eficiente el domingo, noche moviéndose montañas de cañas y moluscos durante la noche. El hotel está a poca distancia de las principales atracciones, al borde de la antigua Lille. Muchos edificios y monumentos para ver y muchos buenos bares y restaurantes, todos cerca del hotel.

El hotel está muy bien situado, a pocos pasos de Gare Lille Flandres (que es la razón por la que lo escogí primero). La habitación era muy confortable, pero no me gustaba nada. La peor parte fue la pequeña ducha, que estaba tan amargamente acomodada en el baño que creo que si yo fuera un par de kilos más pesado, no podría haberlo hecho. El dormitorio era realmente cómodo y tuve un sueño muy agradable. El desayuno estaba incluido en el precio y estaba bien (bien, ibis Budget en Cracovia fue mucho mejor en este aspecto, pero el desayuno del Premiere Classe Lille Centre estaba bien para sobrevivir hasta el almuerzo). No recomiendo este lugar para las personas con problemas de movilidad.

En junio de '22, llegó a este hotel durante la ola de calor y lo seleccioné porque TA lo mostró como el mejor hotel en pequeña, con AC. Al entrar en la habitación, vi un ventilador a toda velocidad en una habitación caliente y muñeca. El control de AC está allí, pero no tiene poder (como un propicio). Le pedí a la recepción que lo cambiara, pero dijeron que el AC había roto esa mañana y se reemplazaría el día que me voy La temperatura exterior fue 35C y la energía de los fans lo hizo más caliente. No había descanso. En el pasado, me di cuenta de que la gente había hecho comentarios sobre el AC no/fracturado. ¡Esta es una publicidad falsa! Además de esto, encontré los limpiadores pasando en mis hojas de cama. (Imagen adjunta). Esto abre todas las habitaciones del hotel y lo probé en mi puerta y en una habitación que sabía que estaba vacía! Imagine que esto se había ido a las manos equivocadas. Me entregué a la recepción que estaban disculpados y dije que el empleado había salido unos días antes. Creo que no desactivan pases de empleado 🤷‍♀️ Pude quedarme aquí sólo por una noche, Reservé mi estancia restante en el viajero de BW en vez de eso (un hotel mucho mejor, por un precio más barato) y estoy luchando para obtener mi dinero por la publicidad falsa, que gano! En resumen, no te quedes aquí. Dudo que alguna vez tuvieran AC y se mentirán sobre ella. No pueden confiar.

Fabulous stay for a long weekend. This is a modern and fun hotel in a great location. It’s a great place for a weekend with mates exploring Lille. Amazing breakfast with lovely details - proper coffees, good butter, excellent pastries and fresh bread, and a deliciously refreshing fruit salad. All the food and drink we had was great quality. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms were great, nice comfy beds, lovely bedding and decent showers. I would like to see some more surfaces or storage for personal items in the rooms. In room tea and coffee making facilities would be nice too. This hotel would not suit everyone due to the lively late night music, but we loved it. Every night started with cocktails in the bar before going out to explore. We would definitely return again. We loved Mama!

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and were very pleased with our experience. The room was tidy, with air conditioning (although it wasn't very strong), chromecast on the television also allowed us to watch films in the evenings. The shower was very powerful and good quality. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the alcohol they serve at the bar is very reasonably priced. We booked to have breakfast which was very convenient and delicious. We definitely will be visiting again, highly recommend this lovely hotel.
