I love Motel One. Normally. But this particularly premise won‘t be my first choice next time. The gentleman, who checked me in, was kind of distant, hardly polite. They still have time slots for breakfast, full hour only, which, he explained, is due to the fact that they have more rooms than space. However, they do have a quite nice bar on the 8th floor, in addition to the much less charming „lounge“ for breakfast in the 7th floor. Why don‘t they use both rooms, when they are sold out (e,g,during the book fair)? The hotel is also extremely noisy in terms of road traffic. It is located at a huge intersection, and about 8 (eight!) ultra-noisy tram lines cross on both sides of the hotel. Even on the 4th floor, and with my windows closed, I only finally fell asleep sometime after 1 a.m., when the last tram drove by, and woke up at 5 a.m., when the first tram of the day made itself heard. My request at check-in for a room at the 7th or 8th floor was ignored by the man I mentioned above. He also just gave me a voucher, with which I was sent to the 8th floor to pick up my complimentary bottle of water, while my colleague, who was checked in next to me by a very nice lady, received a bottle right away. I got mine only, when I asked, why I had to go up to the 8th floor, whereas my colleague got her water over the counter. Last but not least I usually use the Motel One stairways instead of the elevator, even if my room is located on the 6th floor or even higher. And especially, if there are only 3 small elevators in a hotel with - allegedly - 150 rooms (the reason given for the breakfast slots). However, in this hotel there are no stairs that get you to the lobby on the ground floor. I was told would have to exit in the Edeka Supermarket next door, go out into the street, and then enter the hotel again. Strange. Anyway, since there are 2 more Motel Ones in Leipzig, which are both great, nice and with a charming staff, I doubt that I will ever pick the „Post“ again.

This place is a joke. First, try to find it. Signage is less than minimal. Hopefully, you can figure it out with others who already have or who are also searching for the place. Next, take a nondescript elevator to the 6th floor. If you come after the sun goes down, note that the lobby with the elevator is quick dark, very poorly lit. Get off the 6th floor and turn right. If you come at check in time, be prepared for the line of over a dozen others waiting to check in. They will not check in anyone before three. Nope. Won’t do it. After a half hour, we were directed to our room on the third floor, right above the intersection. Great view from a large window facing the university and Old Town directly to the west, but ah, these are the two big problems. First, the noise of trams, trucks, and then every ambulance in the city must be required to pass through this intersection! Second, summer heat makes the room an oven. One window will open a bit, maybe 10 cm, but don’t get your hopes up for much natural air. We figured the noise would eventually die down, but it didn’t, especially ambulances on a Saturday night. So eventually we closed the window and curtains. That helped contain the noise but then the heat hit us. We failed to find much sleep in our sweat. Ah, but the air conditioner! Try as we might, we failed to get the A/C to work, nor any fan for ventilation! About daylight, we finally slept, only to miss our planned Bach Festival event that morning. Groggily, we tried to get to the reception desk to discuss this issue, but, mind you, the elevator up to the reception does not stop at the third floor. Only down. So this senior citizen had to take the first of four climbs up those stairs to reception on the 6th floor. I asked for a refund for the second scheduled night. It was refused. “We can’t do that. Only Expedia can. You need to call them.” Also, “You can’t get air conditioning in your room because there is none. Hotels in Germany don’t have air conditioning.” And portable fans are not provided either apparently. I called Expedia. They said that, of course, the hotel can refund the payment for the night. Expedia called the hotel. Then spoke with me I returned up the four flights of steps to get my refund. Nope. They refused to refund. But they did provide another room that did not face the street. Ok. We took it. They even provided a bottle of wine, and we slept well that second night. The next morning at check out, the manager asked why we hadn’t turned on the air conditioning…and of course, Germany has air conditioning. And no, the hotel would not be able to refund an unused night as requested. We loved Leipzig! But beware of this joke of a place.

Die letzten Jahre waren wir völlige Motel One Fans. Das Motel One jetzt auch langsam an die 100,00/Nacht kommt ist noch ok. 15,90 für Frühstück ohne Rührei und je nach Hotel in den teilweise ungünstig möblierten Frühstücksbereichen zu viel. Für uns jetzt leider KO-Kriterium: Bundesweit nur noch Boxspringbetten mit durchgehender Matratze. Vielleicht sind wir von Zuhause verwöhnt oder empfindlich, aber bei jeder Drehing des Partners auch hin- und herzuschwanken ist nicht mehr unsers. Also abgesagt und spontan ins Dorinth: Großes Zimmer. Doppelbett aus zwei Einzelbetten. Top. Ruhiger Innenhof, Fenster kann auf bleiben. Top. Superfrühstück, wirklich mit allem drum und dran, so dass man nur zum Frühstücken hierher gehen kann. Bei uns im Angebot 9,00 statt 18,00. Toptop. Ein Highlight während unserer 5 Tage in Leipzig. Viele Schränke und Ablagen. Es ist ein klassisch eingerichtetes Hotel, hochwertig, aber kein Designhotel a la Motel One oder Premier Inn. Insofern konsequent war die Dusche mit Wanne, nicht ganz State of the Art, aber funktional ohne Einschränkung. Wenn wir wieder nach Leipzig kommen, werden wir in jedem Fall wieder hier absteigen. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten.

Mit einer größeren Gruppen haben wir als Firma eine Übernachtung im Hotel gebucht und waren absolut begeistert! Die Zimmer waren alle sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und von hervorragender Qualität: Bio, frisch und vielseitig (es gab sogar vegane Alternativen). Das Gleiche galt für einen eigens für uns ausgerichteten Lunch. Das Servicepersonal (sowohl im Hotel als auch in der Bar) empfanden wir als ausnahmslos freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. Vorab gab es unsererseits viele Änderungen, die alle stets freundlich angenommen und umgesetzt wurden. Der Kontakt zur Serviceleitung war unkompliziert und immer zuvorkommend! Auch nochmal ein großes Dankeschön für das Entgegenkommen bezüglich einiger Zimmerstornierungen von unserer Seite – es lief alles reibungslos! Wir können das Hotel – nicht nur aufgrund seiner fantastischen, zentralen Lage – uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

La habitación del hotel está modernamente equipada. Personalmente, he echado de menos un pequeño refrigerador y un café/té en las habitaciones. La zona de spa es muy bonita, aunque el agua de la piscina es bastante fría. El personal es muy amable y útil. La limpieza también es buena. Sin embargo, personalmente me asusta la tributación extremadamente utilizada en el sector alimentario. La administración no puede aceptar esa tributación. Es urgente cambiarlo.

This is my second Motel One and I did not think it was possible to have a room more spartan or smaller than in Berlin Mitte..but I was wrong. As a single I have 1 towel, 1 set of pillows, 1 duvet, no washcloth (none in Berlin either). There are no nightstand, just a shelf that you would use for stacking clothes if you unpack. 3 hangers. When you book, they ask if you are single or double. This is why. My companion is with her husband and paid more for a double. Higher floor and 2 of each. On the flip side, it is in a great location. I had to close the window because of the church bells and street noises. You have a lively bar and breakfast while very expensive at $13.50 is great. You could skip it and walk up the block to several bakeries. Avoid a car if possible. The lot is extremely tight. $15 per day. So while cheap and clean, the other costs add up. You have the bare minimum but with great common areas. If you do have a car, turn left into an open lot…before you get to the street that is the motel one parking garage. Same price, but easier to manage.

El Sachsenpark Hotel en la feria de Leipzig puede hacer puntos con su conexión directa a la autopista. Las ventanas son lo suficientemente silenciosas para no perturbar el sueño en el tráfico cercano A14. La casa tiene un par de años en el cuello, lo que se le mira aquí y allí. En conjunto, bueno 4-Sterne-Niveau. Desafortunadamente, debido a la brevedad de mi estancia, no pude aprovechar todas las posibilidades del hotel, especialmente las de coroa. Tal vez en la próxima visita :-)

En agosto de 2022 me quedé por ocho veces en este maravilloso hotel, una pequeña perla en Leipzig. El hotel ofrece una bienvenida muy cálida, grandes habitaciones con baños de calidad, camas de alta calidad, un hermoso jardín de interior donde puede pasar la noche y disfrutar de una buena cerveza de Sajonia, un desayuno muy sólido. El hotel está situado en una zona de la ciudad, con un personal muy amable y útil a su disposición. Situado cerca del centro de Leipzig (aproximadamente 1,5-2 km a pie a Augustusplatz), pero a pocos pasos para ofrecerle aparcamiento gratuito (siempre disponible) directamente fuera del hotel. Las paradas de tranvía para dos líneas (4, 15) están en la proximidad, tanto al centro y la estación principal. Supermercados cerca y también restaurantes, así como kebab o hamburguesas. No podría ser mejor! Esperando quedarse allí otra vez para el Año Nuevo.

Wir hatten ein Appartement mit eigener Sauna im Bad = das ist schon toll. Allerdings muß man bei Benutzung der Sauna unbedingt das Licht im Bad ausschalten = denn sonst kommt wegen der Lüftung ständig kalte Luft in die Sauna, so daß es einen echt friert! Nettes Personal an der Rezeption; aber man muss schon genau sagen was man möchte = dann bekommt man zB auch einen ausgedruckten Plan mit Wegbeschreibung zum Supermarkt. Das Appartement war sehr geräumig und sauber; allerdings haben wir einen Backofen vermisst. Die Pflegeprodukte haben sich als Restbestände der Vorgänger erwiesen (siehe Foto). Und das Kabel vom Fön über der Klobürste ist nicht mal mehr unhygienisch sondern nur noch ekelhaft (siehe Foto) Und im Garten hinter dem Haus haben wir am zweiten Tag eine Ratte gesehen und am dritten Tag 2. Keine Ahnung was passiert, wenn man 5 Tage dort ist… Ernsthaft: da sollte der Besitzer des Hotels der Rattenplage schnellstens Herr werden; noch zumal viele Gäste die Tür vom Treppenhaus zum Garten offen lassen und die Viecher gehen ja auch ins Haus…

La habitación es amplia y cómoda. El persona de la mayoría de las dependencias es amable. Está bien ubicado si es un viaje de negocios y no quieres estar en la ciudad. Está muy cerca del aeropuerto, zonas industriales del sector de automoción, etc. Tiene cerca una zona comercial El problema es con las cenas. Si quieres cenar en el hotel más te vale que lo avises antes y reserves. Si no al personal del bar/restaurante parece que le molesta que vayas a cenar y en ocasiones hasta te ponen pegas aunque el restaurante esté vacío y tu estés yendo en el horario de cenas. El gimnasio es muy pequeño. La sauna es de pago.

- La ubicación es fantástica, a apenas 3 minutos andando de la estación central de Leipzig, con muchísimos servicios y transportes muy cerca del hotel. - Las camas eran bastante cómodas y pudimos descansar perfectamente. - Al hacer el Check-out hemos podido dejar el equipaje allí para hacer algo de turismo, lo cual ha sido genial. - El WiFi funcionaba bastante bien - Calidad precio bastante interesante ------- - La ducha no salía del todo caliente y no era consistente, ni en temperatura, ni en caudal. Muy cambiante. - El Check-out a las 10am me parece una práctica qué, pese a que se está extendiendo, va en contra del viajero. Teniendo en cuenta que el Check-in fue a las 15h, son 19h de estancia en el mejor de los casos... - El personal, pese a que fue muy amable y muy profesional, no tenía demasiada idea de qué recomendarnos en los alrededores. Tuve la típica conversación con el recepcionista sobre qué visitar, donde cenar, beber... Y literalmente me rodeó con un boli el centro de Leipzig en un mapa. Bastante cómico, diría.

Hemos estado aquí 4 noches y nos ha gustado muy bien. Situación muy tranquila, muy bien dormido en las camas cómodas. Algo nos ha irritado cuando llegamos a un pequeño conflicto entre el personal, que también se ha terminado bien, aunque esperamos el cheque. Las habitaciones son algo brillantes para que podíamos oír una disputa en la habitación vecina. Felizmente, sólo estaban allí una noche. La ubicación es buena con excelente conexión a la ciudad. Hay muchos restaurantes y cafés cerca. No hemos almuerzo en el hotel, ya que 18 € pP es bastante. También hemos almuerzo en el café cerca de este precio por el segundo.

Wir waren bereits das zweite mal innerhalb kürzester Zeit Gäste in diesem komfortablen und modern gestalteten Hotel, weil es uns so gut gefiel und wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Hier fehlt es dem Gast wirklich an nichts! Das gesamte Personal ist durchwegs sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Mädels am Empfang begrüßen die Gäste herzlich mit einem Lächeln und überzeugen zu jeder Zeit mit ihrer Geduld und Kompetenz. Hier fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen. Was uns sehr gut gefallen hat: jeden Tag setzen sich alle Mitarbeiter*innen aus allen Abteilungen wie z.B. Küche, Rezeption, Service, usw. zur kurzen Frühstückspause zusammen und sprechen miteinander. So funktioniert die Kommunikation auch über den eigenen Bereich hinaus, stärkt das Gemeinschaftsgefühl und erleichtert die Zusammenarbeit - was letztendlich den Gästen zu Gute kommt. Hier funzt das Miteinander, bitte weiter so! Das Frühstücksbuffett ist schön angerichtet und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Cocktails an der Bar sind echt lecker und die Pizza schmeckt auch gut. Die Zimmer sind hell und freundlich eingerichtet, mit großen, schallschluckenden Fensterfronten. Ich leide unter extremen Rückenproblemen, dennoch konnte ich in den bequemen Betten sehr gut schlafen. Auch das Bad ist ebenso modern und schick, mit großem Spiegel und eckigen Waschbecken sowie ausreichenden Ablageflächen. Hier ist nichts abgenutzt und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Aus Anlass meines runden Geburtstages erhielten wir bei unserem zweiten Besuch ein Zimmer-Upgrade zu einer tollen Suite. Diese war spürbar größer, verfügte zusätzlich über einen Schrank, Bad und WC -Raum sind hier getrennt. Sehr angenehm, vor allem wenn man zu zweit ist. An dieser Stelle noch einmal meinen aufrichtigen Dank für dieses wundervolle Geschenk!!! (Nur gut dass niemand sah wie wir uns vor Freude an den Händen fassten und wie Kinder herum hüpften). Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, ich freue mich schon darauf 😘

Stayed here in Feb 2022. Excellent value for the price. Very friendly people, super location to access Leipzig. Entry in the evening only with your room key, so safe. Clean everywhere. Although it is next to the train station, it is in a direction in which there are no bars for restaurants- so there are no rowdy crowds passing by in the evening. I parked at the Hbf for €5 or 6 daily; from there it is a 2-minute walk, if that, to the hotel. I did not take the breakfast but it looked good. I will most definitely stay here again. Oh yeah, fantastic water pressure from the shower, and the water was warm immediately.

El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad y todos los que conocen la cadena de hoteles de Victor saben que uno espera un hotel maravilloso. No nos hemos decepcionado esta vez. Habitación limpia y moderna, el desayuno no deja abiertos sus deseos y el personal es muy agradable. Sin embargo, el garaje profundo es un verdadero desafío. Tenemos un Volvo S60 y la salida fue realmente muy difícil, ya que es muy estrecha. Antes de nosotros había un combo que necesitaba casi 10 minutos para salir sin accidentes. La próxima vez no lo usaremos más, pero también es el único punto de crítica.

Muy buen departamento, aunque la habitación no es grande, pero está limpia y ordenada, las instalaciones son muy completas y es muy cómodo de usar. El entorno que lo rodea es muy bueno, muy cerca de la estación de tren de Leipzig y de la iglesia de Bach, lo elegiré la próxima vez que vaya.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, habe aber die Vorzüge des Hostels sehr genossen - gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, alles sehr durchdacht, junge, urbane Atmosphäre, Lounge und Raucherbalkon haben tolle Aufenthaltsqualität und die Einrichtung ist insgesamt äußerst geschmackvoll und wertig, bis hin zum Bad. Mein Zimmer wäre nichts für Lärmempfindliche gewesen, aber da gibt es sicher noch andere. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, quasi am Markt, fußläufig zum Hauptbahhof, Supermarkt und Bäcker um die Ecke. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Lindas habitaciones con equipamiento sencillo pero grande y limpio. Desayuno minimalista pero suficiente para el precio. Hay poco para hacer. La televisión debería conectarse a Internet por lo tanto sólo 2 canales porque la conexión no ha funcionado. Muy alto en la casa, ya que albergue juvenil. La obligación de mascar no se aplica, eso nos ha perturbado enormemente.

Easy process from start to finish. Bar/reception staff were very nice & professional. Room was clean and had great features (charging port for electronics in a locked cupboard area). The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. Bar on site was small and cheap good beers

El servicio de este hotel cayó en picada. Es la tercera vez que me alojo aquí y después de esta experiencia no volveré. Un recepcionista malencarado me atendió al llegar. Mi habitación no tenía internet (como prometieron) y el empleado se rehusaba a darme otra habitación. Después de insistiruna hora, no le quedó más remedio que darme otra habitación. En el pasado había recepcionistas muy amables y serviciales. El recepcionista que me atendió parecía más un pandillero que un empleado de un hotel. El desayuno buffet muy bueno y las habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Mala ubicación, lejos del centro.

Insufficiente a Lipsia Albergo molto economico a Lipsia. Camera con moquette (molto polverosa) grande. Buon banco da lavoro. Bagno grande ma con doccia abbastanza vecchia. Connessione molto lenta non sufficiente per uno streaming in HD. Pochissime prese elettriche in camera (appena due credo). Nemmeno una bottiglina d’acqua in camera. Parcheggio gratuito. Colazione appena sufficiente (cereali gia porzionati, caffe sul tavolo nel boiler) Albergo vecchio, al massimo per una notte. In fin dei conti, insufficiente.

Modern hotel with all standard amenities right next to center of town in Leipzig . Handicap accessible with large elevators. Big rooms with king size beds,small table and 2 chairs. Free water and pop in the mini fridge, safe in room. Shower is odd, it has translucent glass that is visible from the side of the bed. Some rooms have the shower door open up right into the bedroom. Shower also does not have any shelves for your personal products, making it really hard. We had a shower plumbing backup which the fixed quickly. We were able to get the last spot in the garage, it is quite small but does have 3 electric charge bays. parking can be a challenge. Front desk spoke fluent English

Estamos invitados en varias ocasiones (en 2019 ya 4 veces) en el Novum Hotel Am Ratsholz, ya que vivimos en la familia de Leipzig. Los apartamentos son grandes, convenientemente decorados, en realidad muy limpios. Hay una habitación, un dormitorio con posibilidad de dormir adicional - si es necesario. Un escritorio, 2 sillas, un sofá, asiento, escritorio, TV, varias lámparas - todo disponible. Una pequeña cocina con nevera, 2-Platten-Kochmeligencia, lavavajillas completa el cuarto. Wi-LAN es inclusive - pero sí dependiendo de la ubicación del apartamento no se ofrece la conexión. Los parques de estacionamiento en el entorno son raros, hay posibilidades de compras en casa. Hemos observado con frecuencia que los ríos de baño difunden un olor desagradable. Pero en nuestra última estancia, este fue un olor insoportable a la sanita. Incluso después de largas vacaciones de agua, el olor no se fue. Tuvimos que cerrar las puertas entre baño, piso y vivienda para dormir en la noche. Deberíamos limpiar los tubos de salida de manera más regular -un estado insoportable. Desafortunadamente, este olor aburrido era tan dominante que probablemente en el futuro buscaremos otro hotel en Leipzig. Después de días, todavía habían tenido el olor en la nariz....... No tuve oportunidad de dejarlo en la recepción debido al tráfico público - daño ....i tampoco se le preguntó, si nos sentimos bien y nos sentimos satisfechos.

En general, un hotel decente, sin embargo nuestro AC no estaba trabajando en la habitación y dado nuestro cheque tarde (11:30 pm) nadie respondió al teléfono al llamar a la recepción varias veces, lo que fue muy decepcionante. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay problema.

Estos meses estoy en Leipzig para trabajar. Las habitaciones son confortables y bien equipadas, prescinde a armario para ganar en espacio y comodidad y aunque no tenga minibar (pequeña nevera) no se le echa de menos por su ubicación en la ciudad. La localización es estupenda, muy central y facil de llegar tanto en tren como en coche, su parking es muy grande. Los desayunos son excelentes y variados. Lo mas importante, el personal de servicio es muy amable y dispuesta en ayudar en todo lo que necesitas. Me ha gustado mucho este hotel.

El apartamento de nuestro estudio era un poco más pequeño de lo que esperaba, pero estaba muy bien arreglado, y dio una interesante vista al histórico muro de Wende por la calle. El bufete de desayuno fue impresionante y nos dio al principio de la ciudad: el centro de Leipzig es compacto, arquitectónico y lleno de vida.

The Bad The central reservations staff. It is becoming more and more common that central reservations do not do their job across a number of chain hotels and here they badly let down their hotel team and ourselves with our group visit. Tardy if ever replies to emails, sneaky hidden small print in contracts stating that rooms would only be serviced every other day! Why would anyone accept this? It's a false economy that can only resuly in customer dissatisfaction. It is bad enough for us to reconsider whether we would use this hotel again. This is such a shame as the hotel is really good. Middle management should give equal attention to client satisfaction as they do to cost savings and learn to reply to enquiries promptly. The reception staff are variable: some are great and efficient others are scruffy and careless. If you are going to issue them with a uniform, make sure that they wear it smartly and represent the hotel well. There is no car parking (but it is in central Leipzig) and coach parking is problematical. The Good Recently refurbished to a good standard Good sized rooms Great breakfast Great location. I would have loved to have given this hotel four stars but can not because of central reservations. Still they can be proud that they saved some money on not servicing client rooms. It is very frustrating to see what should be a fantastic hotel spoiled by offsite people who do not care
