KKirus24La ubicación es buena, pero hay mucha gente sin hogar cerca del hotel. La habitación era limpia y cómoda, el desayuno era realmente bueno. Lo malo es que no hay aparcamiento gratuito (ofrecen $59 valet estacionamiento que es super caro). Si tienes suerte encontrarás algunos lugares de estacionamiento gratuitos durante la noche cerca del hotel (es gratis de las 7:00 a las 8:00), así que recomendaría este hotel si viajas sin coche.

UUsuario invitadoAfter entering our extremely small room, which I found out was called a standard queen I immediately noticed long hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor, so obviously the bathroom wasn’t clean very well the baseboards, the floor, and just the overall appearance of the walls in the bathroom and in the room are just pretty beat up and well worn. The door knob on the outside of our hotel room was falling off and the TV did not work. When we came back to our room a few hours later the TV was indeed fixed. However, the brightness was on the lowest setting and I thought I could simply adjust it from the remote, however There was no settings that were accessible from the remote to alter the brightness of the picture so no tv that night as I didn’t want someone coming up to our hotel room at 10 PM. Just the overall feeling of the hotel room is very grungy. We were kept awake until midnight when I couldn’t take the noise coming from the neighbors and had to get up, get dressed, go pound on their door and ask them to keep it down. The noise and the slamming of doors all throughout the night is completely unbearable and there’s no chance of sleeping more than 1 to 2 hours at a time before being awakened by slamming doors or people talking so loudly in the hallways. The walls are paper, thin. The hotel lobby, where you can sit and have a drink or a meal is kept absolutely frigid. We just strongly believe for the price there are so many better options of a cleaner, quieter much better maintained hotel. It also appears that most of the servers at the Lobby bar or rooftop bar are so young and inexperienced and ask the silliest questions and look so perplexed at the questions that they are asked that it lacks such professionalism. While none of them were rude, they were certainly inexperienced. This was our second time staying there thinking that a second visit would provide different results when in actuality the second visit was worse than the first. So that being said, I could not give this hotel a good review at all.

UUsuario invitadoNos decepcionamos mucho descubrir que no había elementos esenciales de la cocina, supongo que no estudiamos la impresión de buena para entender eso, pero honestamente .....no incluso una taza para obtener una copa de??? No hay hielo en el hotel, y no hay manera de hacer hielo en el congelador en la habitación? La cama de tiro no tenía camas ni cucharas. Había un rollo de papel higiénico para tres de nosotros por tres noches. NO TOWELS DE MÁNDA es ridículo!!! Cuando les pregunté sobre ellos, el agente dijo que debíamos usar nuestra ropa de lavandería. Las toallas de baño eran pequeñas y inadecuadas. Pero, por mucho ...., la peor cosa sobre este lugar era que no había agua caliente en el duche!! Se dejó claro que el helicóptero había sido ajustado deliberadamente para parar en posición recta, sin permitir que el helicóptero se girara a la izquierda hacia el lado del agua caliente. Después de que todos tuviéramos que soportar una ducha caliente, me pregunté en el escritorio y se nos dijo que tendríamos que salir de la habitación para que la repararan. Así que lo hicimos. La mañana siguiente? Aún más frío!!! Sólo eso, creo que justifica una devolución completa. OH.......y para arribarlo fuera ....a locura dama gritando profanidades estaba en el estacionamiento y el agente de escritorio resuelto el problema al ... traerla al hotel para estar con todos nosotros. ¿Cómo es esto correcto? ¿Cómo es esto cualquier manera de ejecutar un nuevo hotel de marca. ¿Cómo es este lugar digno de la marca Choice Hotel? No es. Espero que un representante me contacte por un crédito parcial. Los duches fríos no son lo que me pagué. Gracias.

UUsuario invitadoThis hotel smells like Christmas morning because of the fireplaces and the scent diffusers, very cool feature I haven't seen anywhere else. Very nice front desk staff, windows that open, fireplaces, and despite an ongoing renovation there wasn't any chaotic banging / drilling or paint, they kept everything very professional. There are 3 different Marriot properties all next to each other in this area, this Residence, the Fairfield and the Courtyard. They all sort of share the same parking lot, it feels secure, although you get some loud cars coming through and this hotel is right off the highway exit, so some people complain about car noise. I didn't notice / mind it that much. For some reason the nightly rates went way up since I stayed here, from around $108 to now over $170 before taxes. At the initial rate, it was an amazing deal and the best Residence Inn by far. At this new price it's still a solid, very clean and professional hotel but I think it's priced too expensive relative to the amenities.

__M1861199****I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my personal belongings left in the refrigerator during my recent stay at your hotel.
We stayed at Hilton Portland Downtown from December 23 to December 24, occupying Rooms 416 and 417. Upon checkout, a full box of prescription medications was accidentally left inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms.
I want to be very clear about the nature of these items:
The box was full and intact
It contained injectable prescription medications, clearly medical in nature
The medications were stored inside the refrigerator, not left out in the room
These items were obviously not trash and are easy to identify as medical supplies
Given these facts, I find it extremely concerning and unacceptable that:
The items were apparently discarded or mishandled, and
No attempt was made to contact me to confirm whether these medically critical items should be kept.
At a minimum, I would expect hotel staff to recognize that refrigerated injectable medications are not garbage, and that such items require verification with the guest before disposal. The failure to do so reflects a serious lack of care and responsibility, especially considering the medical importance of these medications.
These medications are essential for managing chronic health conditions, and their loss has caused significant distress and inconvenience. This situation could and should have been avoided with a simple phone call.

UUsuario invitadoThe ladies working the front desk in the mornings are absolute angels. I can't say enough nice things about them. I don't know if they're the owners of the place but they are the most kind, considerate, mindful, down to earth beings I've met in a very long time. The staff are always so very kind, motherly, considerate and concise. I stay here often since i work on the bridge nearby and I've always had an enjoyable, relaxing, carefree, and unobstructed stay here. Clean rooms, hallways, amenities. I've never had anything to complain about whatsoever. I've said it once before that everybody there deserves a raise because they are an absolute dream team by the way they make the entire hotel run so efficiently and effectively, and go out of their ways every time to make sure my stay is always a breeze. Thank you all so much for everything. Keep up the good work, and keep your heads up high, always.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is next to the freeway and I had a room that faced the freeway, so the traffic noise was loud. Sadly, I live near a freeway, so I slept great but it would be tough for someone that wasn't used to the noise. I did not notice the freeway noise on the front side of the building. The room was pretty dated, no bathroom sink counter offset to it's own niche area, it part of the sleeping area. I laughed because as a kid, it was a common design, but, now it just looked odd. The beds were updated and comfortable. The climate control worked smoothly and quietly. The staff was very nice. The breakfast area was big, updated and very clean. Breakfast setup had eggs, sausage and a waffle machine. Basic breakfast and lots of coffee. It's hard to miss the place, there is a giant sign outside. Very close to a Walmart and Home Depot.
