I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Raia Hotel Alor Setar. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest after a long drive. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. The hotel’s location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and food options. Overall, a good value stay and I wouldn’t mind returning in the future.

La habitación era muy buena, y la habitación era muy buena. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. No obstante, hay algunas áreas para mejorar. El aire acondicionado se dirigió directamente a la cama, lo que lo hizo bastante frío durante la noche. No se proporcionaron instalaciones básicas como un tobillo, por lo que es mejor traer su propio. Además, la presión del agua en el duche fue un poco lenta. A pesar de estas cuestiones menores, todavía teníamos una estancia agradable y consideraríamos volver.

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

The single room i stayed in was pretty basic but the breakfast included is quite impressive. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you're in SP on business or leisure trip

Ubicación: Muy céntrica, cerca del embarcadero, el monumento del Águila y la Torre Maha. Hay un 7-Eleven justo al lado del hotel y un supermercado contiguo. El supermercado cuenta con una oficina de cambio de divisas y una zona de restauración, así que puedes comer mientras esperas el check-in. Hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas cerca, todos a poca distancia. Servicio: Excelente. Todo el personal es amable y servicial. El hotel no ofrece té ni azúcar (solo café 3 en 1), así que no tendrás problema si te gusta el café. Sin embargo, si te gusta el té como a mí, deberías intentar conseguir bolsitas de té, azúcar y crema en el restaurante antes de las 10:00, hora a partir de la cual cierra, ya que solo abre para servir el desayuno (si has pagado). Conseguí lo necesario para tomar mi té de la mañana. Gracias a todo el personal. Instalaciones: Hay una piscina y una zona de estar donde puedes leer un libro mientras esperas el check-in o después del check-out. Limpieza: servicio de limpieza diario, por lo que no hay problemas.

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. Overall, Royale Signature Hotel is a great value for a 4-star stay in the heart of the city. Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming — I left feeling rested, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re coming to Alor Setar, this hotel will not disappoint. 💡 Tip: Request a higher floor for the best city views and bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — minor things, but your stay will be perfect!

The hotel is good for its RM220 price tag. The breakfast is not very good but acceptable. There are many food stalls nearby and it is close to Lotus’s. This hotel is more suitable for a transit stay and is not recommended for a vacation. A RM100 deposit is required upon check-in.

Nice hotel near Pekan Rabu. Has breakfast buffet, but quite basic. There is a big and comfortable lobby, with welcoming coffee and some biscuits. There’s also a Alor Setar foodcourt right behind the hotel for more breakfast options, if you didnt opt for the hotel breaskfast. Room is dated, of average size with no balcony, twin room is bigger than double room. We didnt have a proper wardrobe in our room, only an open space next to the TV, to hang our clothes. The bed is ok, not too soft, pillows are quite comfortable; while the towels are not very thick/plush. A good choice if you wish to walk around to explore Alor Setar town. We walked all the way to the Masjid/Dataran Alor Setar in the morning when it wasnt too hot. Bathroom is quite dated, there was an issue with the drainage when we were there.

I went with my mother, my husband, and our children — and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of this place. The atmosphere throughout the day — morning, evening, and night — was incredibly refreshing. With a cool temperature of around 24°C, it truly felt like we were on holiday abroad! 🍽 The food was another highlight of our stay. Dinner was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to suit everyone’s taste. Breakfast was just as delightful — the hash browns were perfectly crispy, and both the pasta and macaroni were full of flavour. We really looked forward to every meal! 🏡 Our room was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and the water pressure was strong — making showers a real pleasure. 🌟 Activities and surroundings added to the magic. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, and my children had so much fun splashing around in the pool provided. One of the highlights was the strawberry farm, which was so close that we could see it right from our room window. 💖 Overall, our stay at The Jerai Hill felt peaceful, refreshing, and filled with joy. It was a perfect escape for our family, and we can’t wait to return!

Ubicado en la ladera de la montaña, ofrece vistas realmente únicas. Está limpio y es cómodo, pero no es más que un lugar para dormir y resulta un poco soso. La comida es normalita, comestible. La habitación es pequeña; quizás la mía no estaba en la mejor ubicación, ya que era un poco fría, húmeda y con poca luz. Hay mosquitos y el hotel no ofrece repelente, así que se aconseja traer el propio. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Para hacer el check-in se necesita un depósito. No aceptan Alipay ni tarjetas de crédito; solo se admiten ringgits malayos o yuanes chinos en efectivo.
