Hoteles con gimnasio en Cumbria, Reino Unido

I'm originally from Kendal, but now live overseas. I stayed here to visit family locally and thought I'd treat myself to a nice hotel after not being back for several years. This place was NOT a treat. On checking in, the reception staff member asked me to pay for my stay (obviously I'd already prepaid on trip.com). When I pointed this out, she became quite rude. We were put in the room right next to the office, and we could hear the staff chatting at all hours. The noise in the corridor from other guests woke us up several times during the night (despite the ”Quiet” signage). There was a fire alarm at 6am the next morning. Everyone had to evacuate for a good 45 mins in the rain while we waited for the fire brigade...not even an offer of a free breakfast or coffee or anything afterwards. There's no air con in the rooms, they're really small, the bathroom is tiny and there's not a lot of room to put your stuff. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and the food was under/overcooked (how can you not know how to cook a potato?). Personally I'd not recommend this hotel when there's a Premier Inn in town...

The place was amazing and situated in a great place. Very near to a lot of amenities like bars and restaurants plus some shops. The staff were amazing and so polite. We was made to feel like we was at home. Our room was huge and had a great view of the gardens. Breakfast was outstanding and very tasty highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here again in the future

El hotel está muy bien situado en el Lago. Esta es mi segunda visita, esta vez he tomado a mi padre mayor por dos días. El personal fue muy útil para satisfacer sus necesidades y solicitudes de ajustes de menú. También han mejorado nuestras habitaciones que era hermosa. La habitación está en una excelente ubicación y limpia! La ubicación es muy cerca del puerto del lago, no está lejos de la estación de tren. El jefe es un señor muy gentil. ¡Es muy prudente! Una vez llegado al hotel, explicó en detalle la situación cercana al lago Windmil y dio un mapa de viaje. El desayuno es muy delicioso! ¡Me recuerda! Cuando se va, el jefe todavía está muy entusiasta de ayudarme a reservar un taxi. Este es un viaje agradable y agradable.

Good location, breakfast took a long time to cook & people we waiting more than a hour, waitresses should have their hair tied back whilst serving guests and should not be coming out of kitchen when they had obviously been eating in there & cleaning food out of their teeth .

Beautiful views and extremely friendly and attentive staff, we felt very comfortable. Lots of vegan items on the menu at restaurants and a great selection of mocktails. Our favourite part was the falconry experience it was truly amazing and our guide was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and hikes around and made use of the easily accessible bus routes. thankyou to everyone at low wood bay.

Such an amazing hotel, staff were very helpful and polite. We had dinner and breakfast, the food was excellent . The hotel has so many rooms, we absolutely enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend and will book again

去的時候剛好趕上婚禮，大堂裡外都是熱情洋溢喜氣洋洋的老外。前台有衹值班的狗，乖極了。如果帶着孩子，需要額外每衹30胖子的付費，這個，呃……如果沒有這筆費用還是不錯的。第二天的免費自助早餐不錯，咖啡點了以後，服務員送。走廊裏有自助牛奶和自助飲用水。停車免費呦，停車場挺大，基本不用擔心沒地方，因為即使頭一天婚禮來滿了人，也依舊有少許停車位。 雖然英國每天都陰沉下雨或者颳風下雪，但是我們卻在這裏看到了久違的漫天繁星。

Estaba aquí varias veces, incluso un par de veces cuando sólo habían reabierto después de cada uno de los bloques Covid y siempre disfrutó, tuvo una fan bienvenida y las habitaciones son limpias. No diga que es perfecto para todos como algunos de ustedes no será un fan del oro y rojo decorado en las habitaciones, recepción y corredores, pero no es un barbacoa de su estilo antiguo. Las habitaciones están modernas y el bar y restaurante tienen un ascensor facial con un color no ultra moderno de crema y azul, pero se adapta al estilo de construcción. No esperan spa, gimnasio o piscina y no esperan servicio de habitaciones o cocktails. Pero siempre recibirá un cálido y amable bienvenido y servicio. El establecimiento está fuera del golpe y la pista , pero vale la pena encontrar esta joya, al lado de los bosques , con el río que corre sobre la caída y la roca oh y mantener los ojos peleados por los chimpancés rojos. La comida es buena en el desayuno aunque no hay salsa de verdura que algunos se quejaron, la comida es buena en la noche aunque una selección limitada de 4 iniciadores 4 manos y 4 puds incluyendo una opción de verdura. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no es muy bueno para un hotel.

Staff are all very nice, but the whole building really needs maintenance like dinning room's roof leaking, wall paints fainting,ect.. breakfast tables ＆floor are somehow sticky. Hope seeing into renovation. Good luck!!
