This is a good hotel right by the central train station and not too far away from the main sights of Luxembourg City. Getting around the city is easy with frequent teams, busses and trains from the nearby station and all public transport is free within the country! The room was good and the beds/pillow were comfy. The room is a bit small but we had enough space to put our things including some space under the bed for our bags. They had a small table in the room with a chair, some shelving and a pretty big TV for the room size. The bathroom was good too with some decent shower products and while most of the room and bathroom appeared clean they seemed to be having some issues with the shower ceiling and that could use some attention. We picked this hotel for the location and the affordable breakfast option because we only had a day to explore Luxembourg and felt the hotel breakfast would be a good start to our day. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads including a seasonal pastry, a pancake machine, cereals, yoghurt and some nice deli meats and cheeses. The juice and coffee machine were also pretty good and they had some to go cups for the tea/coffee. The location of the hotel is maybe not the best for families because it is surrounded by gentleman's clubs and possibly the red light area of Luxembourg. We didn't see anything too bad but would exercise a degree of caution in this area. There are a few restaurants, bars and quite a few shops nearby. We booked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and would consider staying here again to save some money while travelling through Europe. Being here during the Christmas Market season was fantastic and there are lots of nice things to do around the city.

Habitación: espaciosa, cama cómoda. El personal es amable y servicial. Mi habitación estaba reservada con agua incluida, pero cuando le pregunté a un miembro del personal de recepción, me dio una botella gratis. Muy amable de su parte. Ubicación: aunque un poco alejado del centro, el hotel es tranquilo y está en una zona verde. El acceso al transporte público gratuito o a los autobuses cercanos facilita el acceso al centro. Disfruté mucho de mi estancia. Gracias.

El hotel es nuevo, con habitaciones limpias y de dimensiones aceptables. En cuanto a la ubicación, el hotel está bien comunicado con el transporte público (que es gratuito en Luxemburgo) pero está un poco aislado (se encuentra en una zona nueva rodeada de obras y/u oficinas/residencias, y durante el fin de semana y festivos estaba desierto). Encontrar un lugar para cenar a poca distancia durante el fin de semana fue un desafío, y el hotel no ofrece opciones aparte de un desayuno sencillo. El personal de recepción fue amable y servicial.

Eligi Sofitel Le Grand Ducal para un nuevo año, esperando un alto nivel de confort y servicio. La experiencia comenzó con cierta decepción al check-in, incluyendo la incoherencia en el servicio y una habitación inicial que se sentía fría y no cumplía plenamente las expectativas. Sin embargo, después de compartir mis preocupaciones, el equipo del hotel se ocupaba de la situación profesionalmente y hizo un gran esfuerzo para mejorar mi estancia. Me ofreció un cambio de habitación a una habitación más caliente y de categoría superior, junto con una amable tarjeta de disculpa y chocolates escritos a mano, que realmente aprecié. La mejor manera de hacerlo es que el hotel ha escuchado y ha actuado. Espero que este feedback ayude al hotel a mantener una experiencia de servicio más coherente desde el principio para todos los huéspedes.

Tuvimos una grata estadía aquí Todo es simplemente perfecto El personal de recepción es muy servicial y siempre te recibe con una gran sonrisa. La cama es muy cómoda y el desayuno buffet es delicioso. Está a sólo 15 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad.

El servicio y el desayuno fueron muy buenos, como siempre. Las habitaciones están limpias y cuentan con todas las comodidades. El único inconveniente son las almohadas, que podrían ser mejores, ya que no hay opción. Siempre nos gusta volver.

Alquilamos una habitación para tres amigos, había tres camas, una de las cuales supuestamente estaba añadida para un adolescente, por lo que la habitación terminó siendo pequeña.

La habitación es mayor de lo esperado, limpia y limpia, muy perfumada, el paisaje fuera de la ventana es bueno y el transporte es conveniente. La mañana es más sencilla y hay huevos de raya. El aislamiento de sonido es general, el vibración de teléfonos móviles de la zona puede oír.

The place is gorgeous. The apartment has everything you might need for a short or a longer stay. Everything was convenient, and I enjoyed the stay. The location is overall good in terms of reaching the very heart of the city (~7 min walk), and the tram station (~3 min walk), but the gare district feels a bit creepy for a solo traveler at night. Luckily, the hotel is at the border of the district and the center, so you do not really have to experience the district. Would totally recommend.

Very near to central station. There are lots of restaurants near the location. Convenient store are nearby as well.
