From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. Ha estado abierto durante mucho tiempo y nunca he tenido la oportunidad de venir aquí. De repente descubrí que el precio de las vacaciones es bastante bueno. Pero el muelle está demasiado lejos. Se tarda más de una hora en coche desde Davao. porque el barco es un poco caótico. No hay ningún orden. Siento quién es más rápido y quién llega allí. Pensé que era Dokdo, pero no me lo esperaba. He designado algunos hoteles en la isla, pero el La gestión de Dusit sigue siendo buena. Sin embargo, creo que Pearl Island no es muy rentable en comparación con el mismo período del año pasado. Fue nuestra primera experiencia en la granja de Pearl y realmente superó nuestra expectativa 🥰 Hemos tenido un gran tiempo de estar en este resort la relajación, el confort de su comida desde el desayuno hasta la cena con snacks y bebidas desli, La tranquilidad que nos dio el lugar nos sentíamos muy bien tranquilos, y el personal era muy agradable y amigable, especialmente a nuestro toddler, que realmente le gusta hablar con todos los empleados que conocía. El mejor resort que hemos estado y no hemos podido dejar de hablar de lo grande que es el lugar y de todos los ciudadanos.

It was an amazing stay in Dusit Thani. Their breakfast have good variety everyday. If you request for bacon they will make one for you. The staff are very accomodating and i like how they greet the guests all the time. The spa is amazing very relaxing and the gym is clean and open 24/7. Pool is nice. We got the nice view from the 5th floor. Everyone is super mabait and amazing from the guards to reception, to staff and housekeeping. Will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Davao

El espacio estaba bien el viaje es para un negocio. Está cerca del centro de Tori, por lo que es un poco accesible. El lugar estaba bien y limpio.

The hotel is in a good location - not too close to the busy amenities, yet still within convenient reach of everything. Public transport is readily available just a few steps outside the hotel, making it easy to get around. Overall, the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The rooms are not in good condition and fall below average standards. During our stay, we had to change rooms once. The first room assigned upon arrival had several issues, while the second room was in slightly better condition but still below average. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, although the level of service seemed to vary depending on the shift rotation.

Staffs are so nice and accommodating

Overall, our stay was okay but there were some issues that need improvement. We had to request for an extra towel for the floor because it was not provided in the room setup. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated the variety and taste. However, our booking clearly stated 4 breakfast inclusions, but upon arrival, we were informed that it only covered 2 breakfasts, which was disappointing and felt misleading. During our stay, there was an earthquake (magnitude 5.5). Surprisingly, no alarm or safety announcement was made by the hotel, which was concerning. Proper safety protocols should be in place during emergencies. Overall, good breakfast but some service gaps and safety concerns need to be addressed.

Paradise Island Park & Beach Resort never disappoints. The cleanliness is superb, the rooms smell fresh, and the aircon works perfectly which really matters on a beach trip where the humidity is no joke. The food is genuinely good, and the waiters deserve credit for always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. This place holds a special place in my heart, it’s been my childhood beach, where families and relationships have grown for the past three decades. Overall, 10/10 experience EVERY TIME.
