Me encantó este hotel. Tenía un piso entero para nosotros, todo muy ordenado y limpio, y las instalaciones eran muy nuevas. Reservamos la habitación familiar, que era grande, con dos camas grandes y un inodoro inteligente. Cada huésped recibía una botella de agua al día, y si necesitabas más, podías pedirla en recepción. También había una lavandería donde se podía lavar y secar la ropa gratis. La dueña y el personal eran muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Originalmente habíamos reservado dos noches, pero nos gustó tanto que nos quedamos seis noches más.

Aunque la habitación estaba un poco anticuada, el servicio fue excelente. El mayordomo se puso en contacto conmigo con antelación, me añadió en WeChat e incluso me hizo un upgrade gratuito. La habitación tenía unas vistas fantásticas directamente a la Plaza Tianfu. En general, el servicio del hotel es muy bueno. Elegí el Celebrity Hotel principalmente por su piscina, pero resulta que está subcontratada. We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

La habitación cuenta con muebles y mármol natural importados. En general, la decoración es de alta gama y la limpieza es excelente; el personal de limpieza fue muy atento. Las almohadas tenían la altura perfecta y me encantó dormir en ellas. Es una pena que las almohadas del hotel no estén a la venta; si no, sin duda me habría llevado una a casa. El servicio de mayordomo también fue muy amable. Al registrarme, me enviaron un mensaje inmediatamente sobre mi habitación e incluso me recomendaron atracciones turísticas cercanas. En resumen, ¡una estancia muy agradable! El entorno también era muy agradable; la decoración en general era impresionante, pero no había ningún olor desagradable a pintura. Era muy tranquilo y seguro, y usar la tarjeta del ascensor lo hizo muy práctico. ¡Una experiencia fantástica!

Our room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety. I would like to suggest that the hotel enforce the no smoking rule more stringently as the ground floor was filled with the smell of smoke. Also the laundry room should have more machines as it is always fully occupied. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel.

Esta es mi quinta vez en Chengdu. Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Taikoo Li. The staff were exceptionally helpful, professional, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect—within walking distance of Taikoo Li, IFS, and many excellent restaurants and attractions. Our room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the attention to detail. It truly felt like the hotel cared about every aspect of the guest experience—even the quality of the air we breathe. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day of sightseeing. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines outstanding service, an excellent location, and modern facilities, this is the place to stay.

¡Abrir la habitación fue una grata sorpresa! ¡Era exactamente lo que quería! Luminosa y espaciosa, con grandes ventanales de suelo a techo, tonos gris claro y muebles de líneas limpias y modernas. Se sentía un lujo discreto que te hacía sentir muy a gusto. Lo que fue aún más satisfactorio fue el servicio. Al entrar al vestíbulo, podías sentir una diferencia con otros hoteles. Dos caballeros mayores estaban presentes todos los días en el vestíbulo, recibiendo y despidiendo a los huéspedes, sirviendo té y agua, ayudando con el equipaje y respondiendo preguntas. Te daba una sensación de seguridad y confianza. El restaurante estaba en la azotea, un restaurante circular con vistas espectaculares, ¡y la comida también era muy buena! La ubicación también era muy conveniente, cerca de todas las atracciones de Chengdu. Aunque está en el centro de la ciudad, era muy tranquilo. El precio también era bastante moderado. La habitación era tal cual la descripción y nos sentimos cómodos alojándonos tres adultos. Estaba limpia y ordenada, con agua mineral y bebidas ilimitadas. El baño tenía un inodoro inteligente. El servicio de recepción fue excelente; incluso nos trajeron una manta extra cuando la pedimos. El desayuno era muy bueno, abundante y delicioso. No está lejos de Kuanzhai Alley y Kuaixinglou Street, se puede llegar andando. La recepción incluso le dio un pasador de pelo a los niños, lo cual fue un bonito detalle.
