the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience.

We celebrated our 2-years anniversary at Sausage Tree and we truly enjoyed every bits of it from all the thrills of game drives, to connecting with the nature, to enjoying the peace and breeze, to learn about South Africa’s culture, to making new friends and to being pampered very well by their fantastic hospitality! So lucky of us to catch all Big 5 on the morning of our anniversary and with an Elephant appearing right in front of my doorstep at night! It makes the whole trip so much memorable! The hotel has beautiful grounds and super friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Stayed in an executive room which was clean with a four poster bed. The AC in winter time was a welcome addition and the fact that it was switched on before I checked in was thoughtful. In general, these rooms could do with a bit of general maintenance - ceilings look old and worn and it was really difficult to open and close the door. Breakfast catered to all tastes. For a stay in Modimolle, Shangri-La is a good choice.

This is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!

Todo estaba en un alto nivel. Conozca una zona muy bonita, hermosa de atención. Habitaciones confortables donde todo era necesario. Té, café, agua en acceso ilimitado todo el tiempo. El cuarto cuesta dos safari. Fácil check in; mucha privacidad; habitación de lujo es menor que lo que se publica en línea pero la necesidad es extremadamente cómoda; gran ubicación como está cerca de todas las instalaciones; piscina es agradable y limpia

El hotel es muy limpio, nos gusta el desayuno y la piscina.

El hotel está muy bien situado cerca del parque Kruger.

Mi hija fue negada a acceder a su habitación porque el hotel no tomaría una prueba de pago Wechat (China) y le hizo pagar otra vez por la misma reserva en South African Rands.
