I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

La habitación es grande, es adecuada para el viaje de la familia

A nice hotel with spacious rooms, including a kitchenette, and friendly service. A perfect location for visiting Yale. My only complaint would be that the elevators are oddly slow and only one of the two appeared to be working. All things considered, I would be very happy to stay here the next time I’m in New Haven.

The Hotel Marcel was quite Modern and very aesthetically pleasing! Upon arrival, I could tell this hotel was full of charm and personality. I especially enjoyed my stay in a corner suite with a King bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and I felt as though it was something out of a magazine. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and affordable. If I had one gripe it would be that the interior of the room was very dim in lighting even when the lights were fully on (touch censored lighting was available). I wish more light was able to be in the room.

El entorno del hotel es bueno, hay iglesias, etc., no hay distancia de la estación de ferrocarril y el supermercado, hay restaurantes alrededor, no está lejos de Nueva Haven y Nueva York.

El hotel tiene un sentido histórico, no un estilo de estilo único, tiene sus características, el salón del primer piso está decorado con nostalgia, el entorno es bueno, la habitación es muy nueva, la cama es muy cómoda y limpia

Vivimos en este hotel varias veces, todos para el examen de los estudiantes. El hotel está bien, el servicio de la recepción es bueno y las instalaciones de la habitación también son buenas.

El desayuno es más simple, el cítrico de guayuan es pequeño, no es caliente suficiente, es demasiado cansado, esperando mucho tiempo sin agua caliente, me duermo, tornó casi dos horas la mañana siguiente, el agua se puede lavar. El hotel es muy bonito, envió un bono de desayuno como compensación incansable. Probablemente por la decoración, la última vez que estuvo en la piscina, estaba en la decoración.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, modern, and had great amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Perfect location—close to attractions and dining. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. 5/5 stars!”
