Hotel environment is clean and staff is friendly. Room is clean and tidy. View facing opposite mall is good. Breakfast is good. Lose my access card and the staff response is fast and deactivated the missing card. Then make a new one for me.
Ponter Fino hotel is my favorite hotel for staycation. However, during my stay on Jan 1, 2026, they checked me in so late. Later than 430pm. The reason was there were still guests in the suite room assigned to for late checkout which I think was unreasonable. They coudn't even find alternative room for me. Worst case, they promised to deliver my luggages (although they said attendants were busy which I understand) However, it took unresonably long enough knowing there are attendant / staff who seemed to be free and just volunteered to deliver them only when they saw me carrying the trolley. So I refused to let them carry my stuff and pushed them all by myself from the lobby to my room located at 2nd floor so still need to carry all of them upstairs (back and forth). They offered late yes but out of ego, disappointment, and dissatisfaction, I told them don't help me and I'll do ot myself.
We had a really nice stay overall. The amenities were clean, complete, and well-maintained, which made our experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff were accommodating and the place had a pleasant atmosphere. I just hope that next time there will be Netflix available in the rooms for added entertainment, and maybe more affordable room options with a balcony to enjoy the view. That would definitely make the stay even more perfect.
Our stay was generally good, and we truly enjoyed the facilities and activities offered by the hotel. There was plenty to do, and it made our overall experience fun and memorable.
However, when we first entered the room, there was a noticeable smell on the bed that seemed like dog urine, which was unpleasant. Thankfully, when we reported it, the staff responded immediately and changed the beddings right away. We really appreciate their prompt action and professionalism.
After that concern was addressed, everything felt comfortable. Overall, while the initial issue was disappointing, the staff handled it well, and we still had an enjoyable stay.
The food was delicious with a great variety, and everything was well prepared. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help, which really made the experience even better. The amenities were excellent, well maintained, and added a lot of comfort to the stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Our stay at Canyon Cove was generally okay, especially considering the discounted rate we got online.
The room was spacious, and we loved the mini bed by the window overlooking the beach—it was a nice touch. The whole place is quite big, but it lacks amenities or activities to explore. Some areas also look a bit outdated, and cleanliness could be improved—we noticed spider webs in certain spots. Then theres a lot of mosquitoes at night The elevator is quite old and scary.
Service was one of the downsides. The front desk was quite slow; we had to follow up three times just to get cleaning rags for the CR and front door. Not sure if it was missed by housekeeping or something you really have to request, but it took a while.
Food-wise, they’re strict about not allowing outside food, which would be fine if the food inside was worth it—but it’s quite pricey and honestly not that good. We ended up going out to eat instead, which is doable since the town is nearby, though tricycle fares can add up.
Breakfast can also be challenging during weekends or peak days. There’s a waiting time to be seated, and food replenishment is slow—some items like bread and porridge weren’t refilled even while we were already finishing our meal.
Overall, we still enjoyed our stay. If your main goal is to relax in the room and enjoy the beach, it’s decent for the price—just manage your expectations, especially with service and food.
Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent—plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The bathroom was modern with reliable hot water, which made for a comfortable stay. Parking was available on-site (just double-check if there’s a fee, as it may vary). Overall, a solid choice for convenience, cleanliness, and comfort.
Overall, it was a great experience. The amenities were amazing — lots of activities to enjoy, whether you're into relaxing or staying active. You definitely won’t run out of things to do!
The food was delicious, and the staff were all so kind and accommodating. They even granted our request for a room with a stunning view of Taal Volcano — waking up to that scenery was truly unforgettable.
Cleanliness was good, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. There’s a little room for improvement, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food, fun activities, and breathtaking views, I highly recommend Canyon Woods!

UUsuario invitadoI rarely leave voluntary feedback for hotels we stay at,
but this one definitely deserves it.
Brittany Hotel is fairly new. We have been meaning to try it for a while since we always pass by it along Daang Hari. We initially booked just an overnight stay to relax a bit. Unexpectedly, we ended up coming back the very next day when we needed a place to stay for another three days and two nights. I asked the same receptionist, Ken, who assisted us during our first check-in if the deluxe room we previously stayed in was available, as we preferred it. They didn’t say whether it was, but instead informed us that they had upgraded our room to a premier one at no extra cost! It was such a pleasant surprise, especially since it was only our second visit. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Ken for being so helpful and kind. The level of service really stood out.
The overall vibe of the hotel is really nice. It's quiet, very clean, and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Although we weren’t able to try most of the restaurant’s menu since we always came back late at night, the food we did try was enjoyable, and the coffee was surprisingly good. While the hotel might feel a bit limited for some, as it's still new, we had a great stay overall. It has quickly become our favorite among all the hotels we’ve stayed at. 😁 We hope they continue to provide great service and even improve it further, especially the facilities and amenities. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends and family.

NNicoNOverall happy with my stay. The room was comfortable; the property is conveniently located by the highway. (caveat, at night you will hear motorists pass by but this should be already taken into account given clear proximity) Staff were friendly and accommodating; I felt attended to as a guest.
There is on-site parking however limited but I attribute this to my timing of stay; there was a multi-day event hosted at the same time so I feel the lack of parking was taken up by participants staying at the hotel who arrived earlier in the week.
The breakfast buffet was not excellent, but not inedible either. You get what you pay for. The dining area was clean and orderly so at least there's that.
I slept well here, I'm generally happy to have booked this as my accommodation.
UUsuario invitadoI had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and very accommodating from the moment I arrived. They made everything easy and comfortable.
What impressed me most was how willingly they assisted with a special request. I needed to interview the Food & Beverage Supervisor, and the staff quickly helped arrange it. The interview went smoothly, thanks to their support and coordination.
The F&B Supervisor was kind and informative, and the overall experience was better than expected. The staff’s warm attitude and willingness to assist made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service.
UUsuario anónimoWas not expecting the Orchard Lane’s Superior Apartment bedroom was that run-down, the blankets were the worst of all we experienced in all our get-away stays, booked for 6 adults and 2 kids and they were expecting us to only use 2 blankets from the main room, extra blanket charged at 500php, the whole stay was compensated by the pretty sunset view outside, got foul smell at night from the main bedroom, we cannot figure out where the smell was coming from, walls were thin even the bathroom as you can hear other guests talking,it was a once in a lifetime experience as you will not likely to go back else you may want to try day tour instead. Do take note the sliding door connected to balcony were almost unscrewed so needs to take precaution in opening.
