This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

We booked this place because it was relatively cheaper compared to other motels in Taupō. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s not right on the lakefront or in the CBD, but it’s only about a 10-minute drive from the main area. (Car def needed ! 🚗³₃) What a pleasant surprise! The resort is huge, and the room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The facilities were incredible and all included with the stay: two heated pools, two jacuzzis, a sauna, tennis courts, football fields, squash courts, and a gym. Everything was well maintained, and the facilities are open from 6am to 11pm, which was fantastic. There are also restaurants and bars on-site, which were great. We didn’t try the breakfast, but they offer a $35 buffet breakfast that looked really good. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to many of Taupō’s attractions, including the geothermal spas, Huka Falls, and the prawn park. Overall, this accommodation exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taupō!

Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay.

Located directly opposite the Glowworm Caves, this lodge offers an unbeatable strategic advantage. The rooms are spotless, the terrace views are stunning, and the homemade breakfast is exceptional. The staff is genuinely warm and family-friendly. It’s the most efficient and comfortable choice for a seamless Waitomo experience.

We had a very good discounted price for the night, the room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom. Unfortunately the units are not very well sound proofed and in our instance the occupants of the room next door were very inconsiderate and stayed up very late, even after asking them in person to go to sleep at 1am it took another while before it got quiet. With the bar and restaurant next door a very convenient spot

The hotel is incredibly cozy and comfortable, and you couldn't ask for a better location, it is right in the city centre with everything just a short walk away. Highly recommend.

La habitación era estupenda, limpia y bien equipada; el desayuno estaba rico y había una piscina climatizada. ¡Las vistas desde la ventana eran impresionantes! Si te gusta caminar, el hotel y los alrededores están a unos 25 minutos a pie. En resumen, fue una estancia fantástica que mereció la pena.

The motel is clean and luckily close to some food places as they did not have in house restaurant. The room is a bit small, luckily I was staying alone. I accidentally left my water bottle and they wrote to let me know. That's nice of them.

It's within walking distance of the beach, where you can dig your own pool in the sand and soak in the hot water. You can rent a shovel for $5 at reception. There's a heated pool on site. The bungalow was cool to sleep in, despite the heater being on. The kitchen and toilet are a bit far from the sleeping area.

¡Nos encantó nuestra estancia en el Hahei Beach Resort! La habitación era preciosa, con una terraza privada con vistas a los árboles donde los pájaros disfrutan compartiendo su alegría de vivir. Excelente ubicación en la playa, ideal para nadar y pasear, con una fantástica excursión hasta el mirador. El complejo es como un club: muy acogedor, con zona de acampada y un área central con hamburguesería, pizzería y bar. ¡Las pizzas estaban increíbles! El pueblo de Hahei está a un corto paseo del complejo. Para salir de Hahei y visitar otros lugares de la península de Coromandel hay que conducir un poco, pero creo que eso contribuye a la tranquilidad del pueblo. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.
