Mi estancia en el Hotel Kamenoi Kusatsu fue excelente. El onsen estaba muy limpio y era bastante espacioso, lo que lo convirtió en una experiencia relajante. El hotel también cuenta con un práctico atajo que lleva directamente a la zona peatonal de Yubatake, lo cual es una gran ventaja. Tanto el desayuno como la cena fueron tipo buffet con una amplia variedad de platos: muchas opciones y todos muy agradables. El servicio fue excelente y la habitación era cómoda para dormir. El único inconveniente es que había muy pocos enchufes en la habitación, pero no fue un problema grave. En resumen, una estancia fantástica y muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Kusatsu.

Nos quedamos en Naraya Ryokan como familia de cuatro por dos noches y tres días, y la experiencia superó nuestras expectativas desde el momento en que llegamos. Nos saludaron inmediatamente después de la entrada y el personal tomó tiempo para explicar claramente las instalaciones, las comidas y el calendario, haciendo todo el proceso suave y bienvenido. La gente se ha comunicado personalmente con el personal japonés, lo que ha hecho las interacciones especialmente insoportables, y también ha observado que el personal está haciendo esfuerzos genuinos para ayudar a otros huéspedes en inglés. Aunque el inglés no es su primera lengua, su disposición a acomodar y asegurarse de que los huéspedes se sienten cómodos fue evidente y apreciada. El ryokan es un lugar de la cafetería, un lugar de relajación excelente. Su toma de afogado es especialmente memorable y vale la pena intentar. La cena en Naraya Ryokan es una experiencia tradicional de menú que muestra la cocina japonesa estacional. Cada comida se sentía cuidadosamente preparada y añadió profundidad a la experiencia de ryokan en general. New hotel but upkeep not good . Onsen is excellent and restaurant dinner and breakfast is good . The major and most cannot accept part is my room heat system doesn’t work . The hotel only provides two small heater in the room. I am paying $100,000 yen for a private onsen room and outside tempos -9 degrees at night . You told me the heat doesn’t work , that’s a joke .

Room & vibes Stayed in a traditional tatami room and it was so Japanese in the best way – futon, tatami smell, the whole ryokan fantasy. Super cosy, perfect if you’re here to soak, chill, and live your best onsen‑town main‑character life. Buildings & facilities Hotel has three blocks, all connected via the main building, so you’ll always pass through it anyway. Most of the good stuff – hot springs, buffet etc. – is in the Annex building where I stayed, so it was really convenient, just no Yubatake view (that’s only for the main building rooms). Location & mini shopping zone They literally have their own shopping area on the first floor of the main building, right by Yubatake and the hot spring street, so you can roll out of the hotel in yukata and start browsing. Super easy to snack, shop, then hop back into the onsen without feeling like you “went out”. Transport & walking in snow There’s a shuttle bus to the nearest public transport stop, so luggage days are easy. You can walk it in under 10 minutes, but in snow season the road gets icy and crazy slippery, so honestly not recommended unless you trust your shoes (and your balance). Staff & service energy Hotel staff are amazing – super friendly and actually proactive. Besides Japanese and English, some staff speak Mandarin and will just switch to it to help you out, and they’ll even offer to take photos for you before you have the chance to ask, which is perfect for solo or shy travellers.

You can use their sister hotel's onsen just next door. Free coffee and pastries provided in the afternoon. El hotel también ofrece un pantalones de estilo japonés y Yukata, y sería mejor que ofrecieran un cesto en lugar de un bolso de plástico para que los huéspedes puedan llevar sus propiedades en el baño.

May not come again. The hotel rate is considered pricey because the service did not meet that price standard. We booked a private onsen and found out there is limit number of times you can use onsen. In fact, only 1 person used once at night and in the morning. When we used in the morning, the water is as low as below knee height. After calling the front desk several times, there is still no onsen water. Food is simple, like those we can find in local food restaurant.

¡La primera vez que fui a Prasjin con su novio! Pensé que tendría un hotel y una piscina al aire libre muy elegantes, así que decidí que estaba aquí. ¡El desayuno también es delicioso, estoy muy satisfecho!

The hotel is very popular among the Japanese traveller. Lots of Japanese with very limited foreign traveller. The communication can be a bit difficult at the hotel. The room were cleaned but there is limitation of daily cleaning of the room. They only take trash out and change towels. The policy is to clean the room every 4 days. When the hotel is fully occupied, there is a problem with the scarcity of hot water. We have to wait for hot water to be reproducing 2 out of 3 nights we stayed. The buffet is very crowded and the food are pretty much the same for all 3 nights we stayed for both breakfast and dinner. Our highlights are the crab and the beef station for dinner and the live onigiri station for breakfast.

Un oasis de calma a un paso de Yubatake. Llegar hasta aquí puede ser un poco complicado en coche, pero el personal estará encantado de guiarle hasta los aparcamientos reservados. El desayuno y la cena fueron exquisitos menús Kaiseki. Los onsen, tanto interiores como exteriores, eran amplios y limpios, rodeados de una exuberante vegetación zen. Las habitaciones tradicionales son espaciosas y acogedoras, y el personal le preparará los futones mientras cena. Un lugar estupendo para alojarse con una comida deliciosa.
