Very good value for money. The location is not ideal if you want to explore Kathmandu but it's perfect if you have to catch a flight the following day. The view of the city from the rooftop is also amazing.

El agua de la piscina estaba templada, así que fue agradable nadar por la tarde. En cuanto a la sauna, comparada con las de Corea, simplemente se agradece tener una. Un amigo que usó el gimnasio dijo que estaba bien. Mientras desayunaba en el piso 12, fui al baño del piso 11 y vi una clase de yoga con mucha gente participando. Es agradable que un hotel limpio esté ubicado en el centro de la zona turística. Una parte inesperadamente agradable de mi viaje a Nepal fue el tiempo que pasé paseando por las callejuelas de Bhaktapur.

Hotel Country Villa was a great stay with some disappointments. The location is perfect with a great view from all around the hotel. The service and staff were great all around with some exceptions. I booked 3 rooms for a total of 5 people with non non-refundable plan but due to a decrease in the number of people from 5 to 4, the hotel agreed to cancel 1 room for free for us. Although the process took some time and some pushing from Trip.com agent I am grateful for the free cancellation. One of the rooms I booked, the Junior Suite was for my partner and me for a short honeymoon kind of stay. The room was well designed and had great views but the in-room Jacuzzi needs maintenance. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also great and the pool staff let us use them more than the closing time. The disappointing part of the stay was during breakfast. The buffet was amazing but the glass I used for juice had lipstick stains which I noticed after drinking from it. I am a male who doesn't use lipstick so it was clearly not mine. When I complained to a staff member who seemed to be a supervisor of some sort, instead of an apology, he laughed and asked us ”Are you sure that it's not yours?” After that, he took the glass away and brought a new glass of juice but the juice was different from the one I was drinking. We were completely shocked by this as it was not a rookie staff that did this but rather a supervisor. Overall, we are satisfied with the whole stay but the lipstick on the glass has left a bad aftertaste.

El precio es bastante elevado, pero el desayuno satisface tanto los gustos occidentales como los locales, y las habitaciones son amplias. Sin embargo, está cerca de una carretera principal, por lo que la zona es bastante ruidosa. El servicio es muy amable y acogedor. Llevo varios días alojado allí y conozco a todo el personal.

酒店服務非常專業，早餐豐富，前台服務熱情周到。説要水，很快就送來了。而且酒店裡面有電吹風，洗澡熱水非常舒適。 很多中國人到其他地方找中餐吃，結果發現最正宗的中餐在酒店樓上九層。而且這裏的巧克力布朗尼，非常正宗。原本應該是和冰淇淋一起吃，我提出來要吃熱的，酒店立即做了熱呼呼的冰激凌。酒店旁邊有個加德滿都最大的農貿市場，6個大蘋果，衹要不到20元人民幣。這裏什麼蔬菜水果都能買到。 因為加德滿都經常堵車，如果銜接航班，酒店離機場很近，這又是一大優勢。

Desde que el Hilton se incendió, los precios se han duplicado, pero las instalaciones del hotel también se han quedado bastante anticuadas. En concreto: 1. Sin aire acondicionado, la temperatura de la habitación sube rápidamente, haciéndola insoportable. Con el aire acondicionado encendido, el ruido de la ventilación es extremadamente fuerte y molesto. 2. Tras mucha negociación con recepción, conseguí cambiar de habitación, pero la tapa del inodoro se cayó dentro. ¡Además, había zonas del suelo que no estaban bien limpias! He hablado de estos problemas con el hotel. Finalmente, volví a contactar con el hotel esperando una compensación, pero me respondieron que no habría ninguna, solo un reembolso y un cambio de hotel. ¡A más de 1400 yuanes la noche, simplemente no merece la pena!

La vista al valle de Katmandu fue impresionante y la vista de la montaña durante los cielos más claros lo merecía. El FnB Manger Suman es muy amable y no dude en ir a millas más para ofrecer el mejor servicio.

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

Las habitaciones y la limpieza eran bastante buenas. Sin embargo, el sistema de ventilación era muy ruidoso; no dormí bien durante dos noches. El desayuno era abundante y delicioso. No recomendaría el bufé del almuerzo; la selección era muy limitada y la comida no era muy buena. El personal fue muy atento.
