The hotel is modern, dreamy and exceptionally clean. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and Kempinski, as always, did not disappoint at all. Everything felt immaculate and very well maintained. The service at the front desk and concierge was impeccable, very professional, warm and genuinely friendly. Room service and overall service throughout the hotel were excellent as well. The hotel is very couple- and family-friendly, and one thing I truly appreciated was how quiet and uncrowded it felt. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, we barely ran into other guests. The layout and structure of the hotel are very well thought out, creating a calm, spa-like atmosphere where nothing ever feels busy or overwhelming. The spa was solid and offered all the basic, well-functioning amenities one would expect. I’ve stayed at spa hotels with more impressive facilities, but this one still delivers a good overall experience. The sauna area is well done, with different sauna variations available. The outside pool-area could be heated a tad more. Unfortunately, all massages and facials were fully booked and we were unable to get any appointments upon arrival, which was quite disappointing. The location is beautiful, but Berchtesgaden itself doesn’t offer much to do. If you want to eat outside the hotel, you’ll need to drive about 10 minutes downhill to the village/town where you’ll find good local restaurants. Food in the hotel was nothing special and significantly overpriced - although that is somewhat expected at a luxury hotel. The Johann Grill restaurant in the evening was especially disappointing: not tasty and far too expensive for the quality offered! Concierge parking costs €10 for outdoor downhill parking or €20 for the parking garage. The €10 option is more than sufficient as they still bring your car to you. The €20 garage option feels unnecessary. Breakfast itself was good, with a solid selection and quality. However, the service at breakfast was disappointing. We sat for around 20 minutes trying to make eye contact and the staff did not acknowledge us at all. After reaching out to the manager twice, she did try her best to improve the situation, which we appreciated. Overall, a very good spa hotel for couples and families, peaceful and well-designed, but with limited activities in the surrounding area. Three nights are more than sufficient. Despite a few service and food-related shortcomings, the hotel remains a relaxing and elegant place to stay.

Estuvo una noche! No hay suficiente! El servicio es bueno! El servicio es muy cómodo! La desayuno limpio también es bueno 😌. Las atracciones de Munich están relativamente adentro! ¡Está muy cerca de Charlie, el hotel cercano está muy cerca! ¡El viaje también puede terminar! Caminar es la estación de metro, ¡y la Universidad de Munich también es bueno! ¡Un par de pasos puedes comer un gran asesino!

En primer lugar, no recomiendo este hotel a los viajeros con niños pequeños o miembros de la familia de mayor edad. En las tres noches de Munich, hemos visto incidentes como la lucha y el robo de tiendas, lo que nos ha creado un fuerte sentido de inseguridad como familia que viaja con niños jóvenes. Cuando pedimos ayuda para vaciar el tapón de rubí, el limpiador se negó, afirmando que nuestra habitación no estaba dentro de su área de trabajo asignada, aunque estaba en el mismo piso. La limpieza sólo se realizó después de llamar la línea de atención de la casa, lo que nos decepcionó mucho con la norma de servicio. En general, la experiencia se redujo mucho por debajo de las expectativas de un hotel marcado, en particular en términos de seguridad, consideración del diseño y calidad del servicio.

Esta fue nuestra segunda estancia en este excelente hotel en muy poco tiempo. Nos gustó tanto que tuvimos que volver. Su ubicación es perfecta, con fácil acceso al centro de la ciudad en tranvía. La parada está a solo dos minutos a pie. El desayuno es impecable. En esta ocasión, utilizamos el gimnasio en la planta 14. El equipo es abundante y está en excelentes condiciones, distribuido en una amplia zona. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio. El agua, los aseos y las toallas, por supuesto, están siempre disponibles. ¡Este hotel merece seis estrellas!

Overall a very good stay, but a few details were disappointing for a five-star hotel: no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, no bottled water (only tap water), and a very small and poor equipped fitness area.

First time to stay in a 5 star hotel that doesn’t offer toiletries. You would think it’s Andaz and it’s supposed to be premium since we stayed with other Andaz before, but this one doesn’t have any toiletries like the basic suchnas lotion. I asked why and they said they are changing company. Still though they should have warned us during check in or at least have something in the room

Un hotel de primera clase!!!! Excelente servicio siempre amable. La habitación es mejor. El desayuno es muy delicioso y una excelente selección. La cena en el restaurante mediterráneo es excelente. Celebramos nuestro aniversario y esperamos el año que viene.

We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous! I can recommend this Hotel for couples, Families, or Business Travellers. I have taught at a Hospitality School in Zurich for over 15 years, and am a professional business traveller with thousands of overnight stays and 10s of thousands of dining out experiences!

Great hotel, staff is really friendly and the indoor pool and gym facilities are good. Great breakfast, they even have fried rice and porridge. VIP lounge is small but have basic things you need.
