This resort feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and every bit deserving of its 5-star reputation. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thankfully free from any cigarette smell. The laundry room was another pleasant surprise, equipped with new and well-maintained washers and dryers, with detergent provided for guests' convenience. All meals are included and served in the dining hall, making the stay truly hassle-free. The food was consistently good, with hotpot available for dinner. Drinks, snacks, and refreshments were also available throughout the day. It would be difficult to leave this place without gaining a little weight! 😜 Given the size of the resort, guests may occasionally need to use the resort's transportation to get around. Fortunately, the waiting time was minimal, and we were able to travel between locations quickly and efficiently. One minor drawback of the resort's impressive size is the walking distance to some rooms. The accommodation blocks are built in a circular layout, and our room happened to be located on the opposite side from the escalator landing. This meant walking past nearly 50 rooms every time we returned to our room. While this could be inconvenient, we did notice that the rooms closer to the escalator often had a noticeable cigarette smell in the corridor. By contrast, our section at the far end was completely free of smoke odours, which made the extra walk worthwhile. Whether these were designated non-smoking rooms, I'm not entirely sure. What truly sets this resort apart is the range of activities and entertainment on offer. Guests can enjoy camel rides, ATV adventures, flying fox rides, guided stargazing walks, and nightly concerts and performances complete with spectacular fireworks displays. 🌌🐪🏍️🎆 For those looking for a Club Med-style, all-inclusive holiday with a unique desert setting, I would highly recommend this resort. It offers a memorable experience that combines comfort, adventure, entertainment, and excellent food in one remarkable destination.

這次帶孩子定的親子套房，一房一廳，廳也是帶衞生間，但洗浴要去裏面的房間。賓館不愧是老牌五星，非常乾淨整潔，還配備了加濕器和玩偶，佈置的很温馨，比網上的圖片配置要好很多。我們兩次前往御涮園吃飯，都趕上有宴會，衹吃了點簡餐，不過員工告訴我們，他們做的不如外面餐館好吃😋所以也不遺憾。酒店大部分都在裝修，還是有點亂，入住當天趕上滿房，早餐非常緊張，國宴燒賣非常好吃，但是每次衹有一籠，需要排隊等。總的來説還不錯，設施升級改造之後再來看看，應該更好

As expected from Wanda, the hotel was great! However, we didn't have a good experience at the receptionist. The staff was talking about us in Mandarin thinking that we do not understand Mandarin. She even help their own local to check-in while she is still holding on to our passports and doing the administrative work, which we feel that it was rather unprofessional. She was already processing our IDs and then she went to assist another person to check-in and then complete our check-in process. This has resulted us to check-in rather late. She was sighing throughout the whole process. This service is definitely not what we expected from Wanda. After giving us our rooms, the worst thing is there is only ONE bed when we travel up to check in. We have to come back all the way down for the same lady to change our rooms once again. Breakfast buffet, i think it could be better! There are quite a number of local food which is rather tasty. It wasnt something i will go a second time. Location was quite far from the main attractions.

Fui a este Shangri-La por la marca, pero me encontré con algo raro que no había visto en otros Shangri-La. Llevo décadas hospedándome en hoteles y es la primera vez que veo que solo los niños menores de seis años desayunan gratis. ¡Los niños de 7 a 12 años tienen que pagar 89 yuanes por el desayuno! Para los adultos, creo que eran 108. Normalmente, el desayuno para niños se calcula por la altura. No sé si esta es la política de Hohhot o de la marca Shangri-La en general. El servicio de recepción también carece de calidez; cuando pregunté si era posible un ascenso de categoría, me respondieron con total indiferencia. En cuanto al desayuno, personalmente creo que este precio es comparable al de las grandes ciudades del sur. Como se puede ver en las fotos, aparte de algunas especialidades locales como el té con leche y los fideos de avena, el resto es similar a un hotel de cuatro estrellas en Pekín, Shanghái o Guangzhou. El personal en la zona de preparación del desayuno era insuficiente; ¡una persona estaba a cargo de dos tareas, cocinando huevos y fideos al mismo tiempo! Las instalaciones y la gestión del hotel son mediocres. La habitación tenía muchas modificaciones; la bañera y la ducha estaban combinadas, y el grifo del lavabo no era flexible, así que si usabas fuerza, la mano chocaba con el cristal. Las alfombras del pasillo ya se veían viejas y oscuras, lo que indica que el hotel lleva bastante tiempo en funcionamiento. El nivel del hotel no justifica el precio. La relación calidad-precio es muy baja.

El hotel presume de una fachada magnífica y una vista nocturna deslumbrante. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas, limpias y cómodas, lo que garantiza un descanso reparador. El desayuno fue abundante e incluyó especialidades de Mongolia Interior como sopa de vísceras de cordero, olla caliente de té con leche y shumai. En general, fue una estancia muy agradable.

Debido a mi trabajo, organicé el viaje de los niños a Mongolia Interior con mucha prisa, por un total de 7 días. Los primeros 5 días fueron excursiones privadas a volcanes, praderas y desiertos, así que no tuve que preocuparme. Solo al regresar a Hohhot recordé que no había reservado hotel para los dos últimos días. Como resultado, dos adultos y dos niños solo reservaron una habitación king size. Pensando que estaría muy lleno e incómodo para 4 personas, pregunté en recepción si había una habitación estándar de 2x135. Me dijeron que la habitación era pequeña y me pasaron a una suite ejecutiva. Mi familia vivió muy cómodamente, y además, eso solucionó el problema de molestar a mi familia en el trabajo por la noche. El hotel también ofrece un bufé por la noche, en el restaurante giratorio de la planta superior. Después de nadar, comimos algo delicioso, lo que también solucionó el problema de la comida familiar. En resumen, ¡los niños lo pasaron genial y se sintieron como en casa!

Pasé una semana en el hotel con mi familia y amigos en los pisos 8 y 14. El piso 8 está más moderno. Me gustaba la piscina. Aunque otros hoteles cobran una tarifa por la piscina, esta es gratuita. Los niños estaban muy felices y no querían salir. El desayuno era delicioso y variado. Gracias por el recuerdo y el regalo, fue muy agradable. Definitivamente volveré.

Todo estuvo bien, la cama es grande y cómoda, solo que en recepción no hablan bien inglés, pero la actitud fue buena, la ubicación es conveniente.

First impression of the hotel was good. We stayed at 25th floor, So that the room is bigger than others. The reason we choose this hotel because It has a swimming pool. So, after checking in, I went to check the pool. I was shocked to see so many people there. It turned out there was a swimming lesson with 6 instructors and twenty something students. The lesson is running from 9am to 8.30pm. ( pool is closed at 9.30 and only 4 line.) I was very disappointed, therefore I called the duty manager and told him the issue. Soon after, the front seat manager Mr Li came to my room with apologetic attitude. Even though he couldn't resolved the issue, we felt that it was out of his hand. Food at fifth floor was so so. Breakfast has a lot of room to improve. If you want to relax in the pool. Don't go there. Otherwise it is a good choice to have a peaceful sleep.

En la planta baja hay un gran lugar para banquetes y en la planta superior hay habitaciones. Las habitaciones están en los pisos superiores y tienen una buena vista. La habitación es más grande, el aire acondicionado es muy cómodo, el servicio es bueno y hay té con leche de Mongolia para el desayuno. Alfombra toda la habitación y presta atención al polvo.
