PPockyBackpackDuring winter, the road for the last 800 meters before reaching the hotel is closed, and you must walk in. Guests need to park at Okama Onsen first. Before arrival, you are required to inform the hotel of your check-in time so that a staff member can guide you on foot to the property. The staff will help carry your luggage, but if you have many bags, it’s best to inform them in advance.
The highlight of this stay is definitely the walk to the hotel. You walk deep into the forest along towering walls of snow on both sides, and eventually discover the onsen hidden in the woods. It feels truly special and secluded.
The lobby area is not very large, and the number of staff is quite limited, but overall the service was very good. Dinner was served at a counter bar, and the chef was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The receptionist at the lobby, who is from Taiwan, speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She explained everything clearly, helped carry our luggage on the way out, and even assisted with clearing snow off our car.
Personally, I found the public onsen area to be a bit disappointing. The floor was icy and slippery, which felt somewhat unsafe. However, the private onsen in the room was excellent — very private, spacious for an in-room bath, with a beautiful view and wonderfully fragrant mineral water.
The room itself was spacious, quiet, and peaceful. Mobile signal does not work inside the hotel, but the hotel provides Wi-Fi, which was stable and fast.
Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and the hotel responded to emails and accommodated our special dietary requests, which we really appreciated.
The only regret was that the snow was extremely deep during our visit, making it hard to fully see and imagine the surrounding scenery.

WWangjingsanshaoEl viaje fue incorrecto, lo que llevó a quedarse más de una noche en la planta de la aldea de la vacaciones de mama caliente. Esta pequeña ciudad parece tener este hotel abierto y también nuestra familia de huéspedes esa noche. La familia del jefe es muy amable, el servicio es muy bueno y ha hecho todo lo posible para ayudar a los huéspedes. La calefacción también está en el interior y en el exterior, la comida es un poco como la comida japonesa común, muy fresca y comer muy dulce. Las instalaciones son antiguas, y no hay ascensores, el transporte de equipaje es muy cansado.

WWangCFWe drove to the hotel and appreciated the big free parking available. We also noted the proximity of the train station, so location wise, it is convenient yet gives the sense of seclusion which is perfect for relaxation. Check in was a breeze, the English proficiency of the receptionist with the printed information in English good enough. the Onsen was large and the outdoor part was a joy! i particularly enjoyed my time there soaking in the hot water, listening to the sound of the flowing river and watching the fauna. food spread, quality and quantity at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. i noted that the staffs were diligently topping up items that were running out even to later in the meal times, unlike some places where they may just not do so. We booked a room with open air bath and it was worth the money for it! would totally do that again when i return and highly recommended. must compliment the lounge with their welcome drinks and rice crackers which you can help yourself to. although its just rice crackers, it a nice touch, perhaps adding some nuts is my only suggestion. would highly recommend this place to stay if around, in fact we deliberately chose to stay here to break our journey from Hirosaki to Morioka, so glad we did!

UUsuario invitadoEl Hotel Kamenoi está ubicado en la montaña y es uno de los pocos establecimientos en funcionamiento en la zona. Sus instalaciones son muy amplias. Optamos por un paquete de media pensión, que ofrecía una buena relación calidad-precio. Además, como de costumbre, por la noche sirven ramen de cortesía, lo cual es perfecto para los niños en crecimiento. Nos alojamos en una habitación tipo suite que contaba con camas dobles de estilo occidental y tatamis japoneses. La habitación era muy amplia y espaciosa. El agua de los grifos del hotel es agua potable de la montaña, con un sabor fresco, dulce y muy agradable al paladar. Nos encantó. Además, me di un baño en el onsen exterior en medio de la niebla, una experiencia fantástica.

NNingmengqing秋田必访的赏桜赏楓地一定是【角館】，它还是日本历史悠久的武士之鄉，被誉为“奥陆的小京都”。但这里住宿都很贵，尤其在桜花和楓葉季，更是一房难求，枫叶季我提前四个月就预订了(角館民宿風雅)¥996元/2晚含早的低价宿泊，所以这是为数不多的民宿之一。日本女老板英语很好，很热心，早餐由她亲自以當地食材制作，还对外供应午餐和下午茶，也有手作的食品販售。民宿有免費的自行車租借，可以轻松畅逰角館所有的武家屋敷。到这里入住的日本当地人和老外居多，还有台湾人，他们都會英语，像我们这种来自大陆不会日语又不会英语的老人纯属个案。老板娘恐怕我们有什么问题，特意请来角館高校退休的(华人)任老师来问我们有没有问题！老板娘得知我们明天要予约出租車6:30分送角館JR站，但角館的出租車8点钟开始，老板娘在百忙之中亲自送我们到火车站，真的很感动！但是民宿没有接送站服务的，我们抵达時打车到民宿800円。

UUsuario invitadoGreat hotel, very conveniently located next to the JR station. Amenities are complete, plenty of places to grab somwthing to eat as well. Wish I had more time to sightsee around the city, but I left early to go to Kakunodate. Maybe next time. The room got too hot, but I only found out im the morning there's a panel where you can adjust the temperature. The north wing room is nice, but you have to walk to the main building for breakfast and the train station. Breakfast was good, plenty of local selecrion, but many of the dishes had pork and I couldn't eat. They had plenty of salad and sweets available. Their scrambled egg is also nice.

UUsuario invitado周囲に多くの食事処があり立地はとてもいいです。接客は非常によく、部屋は清潔でとても気持ちよく滞在できました。
夜鳴きラーメンはちょっとしょっぱく感じました。あと館内の自販機ではアルコール飲料がなく、近所のコンビニに行くことになりました。
駐車場に関しては、すぐ隣のコインパーキング（24時間５００円）のほうがホテル(８００円）で頼むより値段は安いです。

We checked in the hotel at 7pm, they said our room rate was for check-in between 23:30~05:00 and that check-in other than this period will have a surcharge of
Yen $2000. At normal hotel booking, who would alert the check-in time is at midnight??!! OK, we assume we overlook this strange rule, we paid.
However, two days later we stay at the same brand hotel in Aomori, I clearly requested a non-smoking room at booking (as I did same for all hotels at the trip),
but the receptionist insisted that we didn't. They said they don't have a non-smoking room for us unless we pay Yen $2000 for additional charge. We don't
understand the game! Supposing all non-smoking rooms are at the non-smoking floor; if they have one, they should have given us free. If not, how can they
make one with the additional charge ?
