I stayed in the Zara room on the ground floor of the Farm Cottage, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room was decorated so thoughtfully and was equipped with everything I could have needed, including robes, a selection of teas and coffees, and biscuits. The bathroom was equally stunning, with a lovely freestanding bath and a separate waterfall shower. The White Company toiletries were a really luxurious touch, and the room itself smelt beautiful from the moment I walked in. I also loved having a Smart TV in the room, which meant I could relax and watch Netflix during my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the duvet was so lovely and plush. I genuinely had one of the best nights’ sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Whilst I didn’t dine in the restaurant for my evening meal, breakfast was included with my stay, so I visited the restaurant the following morning. I enjoyed a teapot of tea and the pancakes with fresh fruit and Chantilly cream, which were lovely. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were polite, friendly and attentive throughout my stay. There was also plenty of on site parking very close to reception, which was really convenient. The grounds were beautiful and clearly very well looked after, and it was lovely seeing the horses in the nearby field too. Everything felt so well thought out, luxurious and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return!

La zona de piscina, de nuevo cansada, todas las instalaciones están allí y el trabajo está bien, sólo se siente como si necesitara una colcha de pintura y limpia. El desayuno estaba en una hermosa habitación con vistas al jardín, el servicio era excelente, el buffet frío estaba bien, nada especial todas las bases, el desayuno inglés estaba de nuevo bien, 1 de todo, La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no sería muy agradable.

El hotel está en una zona de la ciudad de la ciudad, donde se encuentran los mejores lugares de interés de la ciudad. A pub and hotel all in one. We had the studio or 'flat' on the top floor. The room was comfortable, although a slightly unusual configuration with one internal bedroom having a lock on the door. The main problem was the shower, which was either red hot or freezing cold, with low water pressure. The B&B only included a continental breakfast which was fine. It cost a £9 upgrade to have a full English which we didn't try. The pub was lively with a good atmosphere. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

I had a very pleasant stay here. It’s a solid choice if you are looking for a reliable and affordable base in the area. The price is very reasonable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are well-maintained and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. While the hotel itself is great, please be aware that the location requires some planning. It is a bit of a distance from both Alnmouth Railway Station and Alnwick Castle. Public transport (buses) in this area is very limited and infrequent. I highly recommend checking the timetables in advance and leaving plenty of buffer time to ensure you don’t miss your connections.

purdy is really a simple business hotel with greaty parling along the hihway clean efiicient. location wise it is excellent , near to Holy island newcaslte alnwick, berkwick and bamburg. there is a petrol station nearby. the rooms are clean washrooms are good , functioning. the surprise is the staff and the care and restaurant adjoining which are so good. food is fantastic . during dinner the fish and chips was amazing as is the pork belly. Breakfast was amazing. i would stay here again if i m going to this area. wonderful . quiet at night . beautiful big windows that overlooks the wavy windy grasslands. lovely stay

The room was lovely. Located to the side of the pub with it's own entrance, it was so quiet with a lovely view of the garden. There was lots of storage and space and the refreshment tray had a good variety. The bathroom was spotless and huge with a selection of toiletries. If I had to be really picky I would say that given the size of the bathroom it would have been nice to have a larger shower cubicle as it was a tad snug. The pub itself was so welcoming and cosy and the vegetarian options were delicious for our evening meal. Overall, what an amazing stay. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful birthday weekend at Langley Castle. The grounds are stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring the Northumberland countryside and coast. We stayed in the Castle Lodge, which was excellent. Huge thanks to the staff, especially Aidan and Ellie, for being so welcoming and professional. Dinner at the Josephine Restaurant was a highlight—the birthday surprise (chocolate truffles!) for my partner was a very thoughtful touch. After a superb cooked-to-order breakfast and a guided tour the next day, we left feeling very impressed. Highly recommended!
