The room was disappointing. We booked a small double, but were given an accessible room instead. The sink was tiny and low down for wheelchair access, but uncomfortable for a 6ft 2 in male! No window so felt a bit claustrophobic. Only 1 coffee sachet between 2 of us. Seemed like the roomwas an after thought. We have stayed here many times and this was the worst room we have had. Bar and breakfast was fine though.

The place was nice and simple. Very good location near the station and not far from the city centre. Good value for money if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights. Staff were pleasant.

We stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return.

La ubicación ideal. A pesar de la proximidad a M1, el ruido de carretera no fue excesivo. El receptor era muy bienvenido; me dio un bar de choc y una botella de agua. Puedes pasear por los servicios de McDonald's o Costa - y WH Smith, etc, (si abierto). . El hotel está muy bien situado, pero todo está limpio, fresco, con café y té. La TV de libre vista es bastante adecuada para una noche ........ El dormitorio era enorme (supongo que se duplicaría como una habitación familiar a veces) - y posiblemente podría haber tomado mi perro conmigo, en cuyo caso el espacio extra era grande. Por la funcionalidad no puede fallar.

温泉設施相對於buxton其他兩家來説是最多的，徒步完或者goape完來泡泡，非常幸福。spa需要提前預約，還不錯，做完一定多喝水。然後因為市中心超小，所以去哪裡都很方便。住的還ok。不過早餐一般般，雖然可以點熱的早餐，但nono有的部浩遲。

Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath was a unique and fun experience! As a solo traveler, I loved the quirky cabins and the adventurous atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips on local activities. The cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for a solo retreat. The location was stunning, with easy access to beautiful walks and the charming town of Matlock Bath. While the facilities were basic, the overall experience was fantastic. It's a great choice for anyone seeking a bit of adventure and a taste of nature.

The service was great. We enjoyed two fantastic breakfasts and a good evening meal. Great room. Our daughter said it was the best shower she’d ever had!

無敵滿意，這是我在英國住的性價比最高的酒店，雖然是在莊園附近一樓就是餐廳吃東西也是很方便的。酒店前台也熱情晚餐味道也還不錯，酒店旁邊還有房車基地，如果從Sheffield下車坐218回經過達西莊園然後轉6.1公交七分鐘，按照導航定位的位置一定要記得繼續向前走幾分鐘過一個小橋就到了，導航不太準確。當地的公交坐着和出租車沒區別，本來打車去酒店發現Uber138磅 不划算直接坐車就OK。一路上風景特別美，也是一個不錯的旅途體驗～
