It is close to Cambridge university and quite convenient to anywhere you wanna visit, the room is lovely with Cam river view. The stuff are all kind and supportful, I have to give my biggest thanks to stuff Emma who is so nice and unforgettable . Will absolutely choose this hotel next time when i am in Cambridge .

Everything else is fine. What's unpleasant is that I'm certain I left something in the room, but their staff said there was nothing left. I don't know if this is a cover-up or someone's lie.

Tenía problemas con agua caliente en el control de la ducha,muy caliente multa para mí pero sería preocupante para los niños  El control necesita examinar La habitación era muy limpia y las instalaciones eran buenas se recomienda a cualquiera

Had a comfortable stay at the ibis in Cambridge. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The best thing is the location — it’s right next to the train station, which makes it really convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room has a great view too. There’s a bar open 24 hours and a nice lounge area on the first floor to sit and relax. No complaints at all. I’d happily stay here again.

Es una típica casa antigua británica, perfecta para quienes disfrutan del encanto de la Inglaterra de antaño. Pasillos estrechos y sin ascensor, así que si llevas mucho equipaje, te recomiendo la primera planta. Estábamos en la segunda planta y la vista desde la ventana es como en la foto. Da a la calle, pero no es demasiado ruidoso. El parque Jesus Green está justo enfrente. Puedes salir a correr por la mañana, dar un paseo o incluso dar un paseo en barco por el canal. Es básicamente el corazón de Cambridge. Un poco al suroeste te lleva al corazón de Cambridge. El desayuno es de estilo occidental y sencillo. Si no te gusta la comida occidental, puedes comer dentro del Cambridge; hay muchas opciones. Sirven desayuno, almuerzo y cena. Solo nos alojamos una noche y no pedimos nada más. Durante el desayuno, un huésped que parecía tener trastorno bipolar tuvo un episodio, pero el personal del hotel lo gestionó de maravilla. ¡Al final se recuperó por completo! 😅😅 En general, ¡la ubicación y el entorno son fantásticos!

My stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected. I reported the issue and was informed that the bedding had been cleaned again. However, when I returned to check, the stains were still there. This was both frustrating and alarming, as it suggested a lack of proper quality control within housekeeping. Only after escalating the matter was it properly addressed. Charlotte, the manager, eventually upgraded us to an executive room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate. However, this does not change the fact that the initial room condition was unacceptable and should never have happened in the first place. An upgrade is a service recovery gesture — it does not erase the hygiene concern or the distress caused at the start of our stay. I hope the hotel seriously reviews its cleaning procedures and room inspection standards to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, based on cleanliness alone, I would not rate this stay highly.

Stayed 3 nights so that we could visit family and friends in the area. Booked a twin room which had adequate space for 2 of us and separate area with small table and chairs if needed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm (once I was shown how to activate the heating) Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold as the hotel boiler needed repair so the radiator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade which is on the planning. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when I realised I’d left my own personal pillow on the bed. They tracked it down and a friend collected for me the next day. Definitely stay agin when next in the area.

While the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property. They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately. The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.

Lovely hotel near Cambridge. Slightly outisde the town centre that needs 10mins drive. But for the very affordable room rate, it is a relatively good hotel to stay with ample parking in and around the hotel.
