¡Este viaje improvisado a Dali resultó especialmente exitoso porque elegimos el Yanyun Seaview Resort Hotel! Desde el check-in hasta el check-out, cada detalle hace sentir la atención y la calidad. 1️⃣ La vista al mar es excelente, y el paisaje curativo te permite sentarte en el patio y disfrutar de las nubes flotantes en la montaña Cangshan y el resplandeciente lago. Especialmente al atardecer, el resplandor del atardecer llena la sala, y cada foto que tomas es un éxito rotundo. Es tranquilo y cómodo sin necesidad de ir a otros lugares donde se aglomeran. 2️⃣ El servicio del mayordomo es tan considerado que resulta repugnante. ¡El servicio de los mayordomos Qiufeng y Yangyang merece ser alabado por su nombre! Desde sugerencias de planificación de itinerario antes de llegar a la tienda, hasta recordatorios diarios de los horarios de apertura de las atracciones e incluso ayuda con la fotografía de viajes y las reservas de restaurantes, no tiene que preocuparse por nada. 3️⃣ El desayuno es tan rico que no querrás levantarte. ¡Hay muchísimos tipos de desayuno! Fideos de arroz chinos, huevos fritos y tocino al estilo occidental, frutas frescas y café recién molido están disponibles hasta las 10:30. La fiesta perezosa está extasiado. Recomiendo especialmente los fideos de arroz con puente cruzado al estilo Yunnan, ¡la base de la sopa es tan deliciosa que puedes beber dos tazones seguidos! 4️⃣ Instalaciones de apoyo orientadas a los detalles El té de la tarde y la sopa dulce de buenas noches se entregan a tiempo todos los días, y las bebidas en el refrigerador son gratuitas el día del check-in. 5️⃣ Huevo de Pascua oculto: ¡Las galletas hechas a mano son divinas! Las galletas que me dieron al momento del check-in eran tan cremosas y fragantes que compré una bolsa grande de ellas como recuerdo antes de irme. El mayordomo incluso metió a escondidas un paquete extra en mi maleta, diciendo que era un ”regalo para el viaje”. Este lugar no parece un hotel, sino más bien un mayordomo de vacaciones que te comprende. Ya sea que estés recostado para mirar el mar, tomando fotografías y registrándote, o recorriendo Dali en profundidad, Yanyun puede brindarte una experiencia perfecta. El Ruidi Future Art Homestay destaca por su comodidad y su ambiente familiar. I recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at!! Suye provided really great service, they even arranged free transport to and from the railway station. I also booked 扎雅土司 through them, and they provided transport there and back as well. The customer service was really amazing, and I loved all the complimentary toiletries. The hotel amenities were also very good, especially the Kohler shower head and Laifen hairdryer, which made the stay super pleasant and comfortable. The room was also very high-tech, and I love that they provided VIP access for movies/dramas so we could actually have a movie night in the hotel room 🥹

Es realmente una sorpresa quedar en este hotel porque el precio es muy alto. Hay parking, piscina, cabina de carga y desayuno muy rico es una forma de autoayuda. Very quiet, clean cut design which I loved it. young men and women running this place, they are sweet . But the first day was annoyed by the water tanks at the roof top, very noisy due to the room was just right below. But after telling the person in charge, the problem was solved immediately. You have to walk a distance to Dali old town, motel little shuttle service will send you to & fro at designated point. It's actually quite convenient.

This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

We stayed for one night at the Garden Panorama Suite with Soaking Tub at Dali Yunying Chunxiao Shuiyuan Scenic Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel, and while there are some things worth improving, the views and overall atmosphere were truly memorable. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the view of Erhai Lake. It was absolutely exquisite and looked almost exactly like the photos online. Every corner of the hotel was incredibly photogenic, and the whole place had a very calm, peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. The hotel itself is quite small, with a compact lobby that also serves as the breakfast area, but the incredible lake view more than made up for the limited space. The hotel is located along a cobbled street with no direct car access. The hotel contacted us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, which was appreciated, and their staff met us to collect our luggage and transported it to the hotel by motorbike. However, we initially thought someone would escort or pick us up, but instead we were given a location to follow on foot. The route was a little confusing and we got slightly lost, particularly because the final stretch goes through a very quiet back street that doesn’t really look like it leads to a hotel. It was also raining when we arrived and when we left, so we really appreciated that the hotel lent us umbrellas. The location itself is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, one important point for future guests is that the streets leading back to the hotel are completely dark at night, with no street lights at all. We found this quite scary and felt it could be unsafe, especially for families with young children or anyone returning after dark. Our room had a beautiful view of Erhai Lake, but unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness did not quite match what we expected for the price. There were quite a few dead fish and pieces of rubbish visible around the water when looking over the ledge, both from our room and from the lobby area. The balcony also had a hammock, but it did not look particularly safe to use, and there were plants growing out from the lake and into the hammock area. The room itself was also relatively small for the price, and the cleanliness could have been better. That said, there were some really lovely inclusions with our room, including afternoon tea, a photoshoot, goodnight dessert and breakfast. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but we were given a choice of mains along with some sides and a drink. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything we had was good. The photoshoot was a particularly nice touch and something we really appreciated. Three photos were included with our stay, and we actually enjoyed the experience enough to purchase additional photos beyond the included three. It was a lovely way to capture our time in Dali. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a very cute birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and genuinely made the stay more special❤️ Overall, this hotel has an incredibly beautiful setting and a very unique atmosphere. The views are genuinely stunning and the photography opportunities are fantastic. The thoughtful extras, especially the photoshoot and birthday cake, were also highlights of our stay. However, for the price, we felt the room upkeep, cleanliness and accessibility could be improved, and the completely unlit walk back to the hotel at night is something future guests should be aware of. If the hotel were to improve the maintenance and cleanliness while addressing the nighttime access issue, it could be an exceptional boutique stay because the location and views are truly special.

No sé cómo describir mi alegría.¡Muka Manor, en Shangri-La, es un acierto total si viajas con mascota! Fuimos en coche con nuestro perro y nos trataron genial desde el primer momento. No es un “pet friendly” de mentira！Aquí también conocimos a nuestros nuevos amigos de perro, que corren por la hierba y se divierten.Es el paraíso de los perros！！！！ La habitación es cómoda y tiene calefacción,Equipos de oxígeno ,agua caliente, buen wifi🛜 y parking fácil. Además, hay una estación de carga de automóvil, que es muy conveniente.El mayordomo nos ayudó con las maletas, nos organizó la ruta y nos avisó del mal de altura; respondía al instante. El chef es un crack: hot pot de yak, pan de cebada y té con mantequilla, todo riquísimo. Y las vistas son increíbles: praderas, montañas y rebaños de yaks y ovejas justo delante de la ventana. Desayunar así no tiene precio. Si quieres algo pet friendly, cómodo y con buena comida, este es el sitio. ¡ China es un país de grandes fortunas, ¡especialmente recomiendo la provincia de Yunnan! Las artes escénicas son muy atractivas, espero que más personas puedan cosechar buenos recuerdos aquí. ¡Vamos rápido!
