¡Muy recomendado! El servicio, la decoración y la ubicación del hotel son excelentes. Al salir se encuentra la playa de Xiaowan y el mercado nocturno de Kenting Street. Un parque infantil muy grande, ¡los niños se divirtieron mucho! ¡Los detalles también son conmovedores! Hay dispensadores de agua con tres temperaturas en cada piso, lo cual es muy conveniente para las madres que necesitan preparar leche en polvo. Las zapatillas que proporciona el hotel también son muy bonitas ~

Everything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. ¡Un hostal muy agradable! Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas, así que no hay sitio para guardar la maleta o la mochila; hay que llevarla al pie de la cama. Buenas instalaciones: lavadora y secadora, cafetera, desayuno, taquillas... ¡Los baños se limpian con regularidad!

Nos hemos alojado aquí varias veces en los últimos dos años y es perfecto para nosotros. El espacio es relativamente pequeño, pero suficiente para dos personas, y la ubicación es ideal. Se puede ir andando a Ximending, Beimen, la Estación Central y las principales zonas comerciales.

Este hotel es ideal para turistas extranjeros. Su ubicación es excelente, ya que comparte edificio con la estación de tren de Wanhua. Está cerca de la zona gastronómica y del templo Longshan. El personal es muy amable, lo que compensa las deficiencias inherentes del hotel. Sin embargo, presenta algunos inconvenientes: 1. El ascensor es extremadamente lento, tan lento que parecía estar viendo una película de perezosos en Zootopia. 2. La iluminación en las habitaciones y los pasillos es muy tenue, quizás debido a que el hotel se promociona como ecológico. 3. Las habitaciones no incluyen artículos de aseo como cepillos de dientes ni agua embotellada. Hay dispensadores de agua en los pasillos, pero no hay jarras de agua fría en las habitaciones; hay que pedirlas aparte. Desconozco cuánto coste adicional supondría colocar una jarra de agua fría en las habitaciones, y por qué esta medida de ahorro parece aumentar la carga de trabajo del personal de limpieza (como si ya estuvieran bastante ocupados). 4. El aparcamiento del hotel está al otro lado de la calle; hay que cruzar un paso elevado para llegar. El hotel tiene escaleras mecánicas que conectan la primera y la tercera planta, pero no la segunda. No sé a quién se le ocurrió esta idea, y las escaleras mecánicas son igual de lentas. 5. La bañera del hotel es muy pequeña y el nivel del agua está a menos de la mitad. Aproximadamente un tercio es el límite (posiblemente también por motivos medioambientales). En conclusión, este es un hotel con un personal de servicio muy bueno y atento. Sin embargo, da la sensación de ser un edificio de gran altura que prioriza el ahorro, lo que resulta en instalaciones deficientes. Si el precio medio ronda los 2000-2500, merece la pena alojarse aquí. Si es más caro que eso, me lo pensaría dos veces antes de ir.

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

Taian Tanqyue Resort is quite remote, so you can only eat at the hotel, which offers a buffet dinner.

No esperaba que este alojamiento fuera un motel basado en su nombre chino, así que fue un poco sorprendente cuando me inspeccioné. La ubicación es muy conveniente, lo que es un gran acreedor. La habitación era espaciosa, pero para los huéspedes que llegaban a pie, la ruta de acceso no es muy intuitivadebe bajar al sótano primero y luego entrar por el garaje de estacionamiento, lo que hace que la circulación se sienta un poco incómoda.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)
