Overall, decent stay. You can't beat the location. It is only about 15-20 minute walk from the train station, or about 5-10 min car ride. It's right in front of the two bridges and you can see it perfectly from your room if you book that type of room. Unfortunately, it is an old property and it shows. The carpet is ancient and I question how often, if at all, they deep clean the carpets. As with every hotel in China, there's a lingering smell of smoking in the hallways, but I didn't notice any smell in my room. The room has an ashtray which is interesting in a non smoking room. The air conditioning is old but works fine. The bathroom is rather big which is nice.

Lo que más me sorprendió fue el café especial del hotel. El lobby estaba impregnado de un aroma intenso a café, y al llegar, pedir uno disipó instantáneamente la fatiga del viaje. La habitación era tranquila y cómoda, con un colchón de presión cero que permitía un sueño reparador. Por la mañana, preparar una taza de café me llenó de energía para empezar el día. Desde la comodidad de la ubicación hasta la originalidad del café y su excelente relación calidad-precio, todo fue satisfactorio. La próxima vez que venga, volveré a elegirlo.

Pasé una noche en este extraordinario hotel. Al principio, me sentí un poco preocupado al no encontrar la recepción en la planta principal, pero unos minutos después, una amable y servicial empleada me atendió. Me acompañó a mi habitación, me explicó todos los servicios y me permitió disfrutar de la espaciosa y cómoda habitación con una vista inigualable.
Al día siguiente, después de correr el Maratón de Dalian, estaba completamente agotado. Para mi sorpresa, la misma amable señora consiguió que extendiera mi estancia dos horas e incluso me ayudó personalmente a conseguir un taxi. Estoy realmente agradecido por su excepcional hospitalidad. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

동관지에까지 걸어서 10분~15분 정도라 좋았습니다. 근처에 트램정거장이 있어서 트램 이용하기 좋았습니다.
과일 생선 채소 파는 슈퍼가 있어서 싸고 신선한 과일을 사 먹을 수 있어서 좋았어요.
창문없는 방이었지만 너무 피곤해서 오히려 어두운게 딱 좋았습니다.
화장실은 좁아요. 심즈로 만든 화장실 현실판같네요 ㅋㅋ
샤워스펀지(타월)이 없어서 다이소에서 사서 챙겨오세요.
프런트에 계신 분들도 다들 친절해서 좋았습니다.
충전기도 하나 있었고 혼자 쓰기에는 적당히 좋았습니다
베개에서 담배냄새가 좀 났는데 전체적으로는 크게 신경쓰이지 않았습니다.

La ubicación es tan perfecta que está muy cerca del aeropuerto de Shenyang. El hotel sólo toma 10 minutos en coche. Puede hacer una reserva de coche de aeropuerto gratis si habla con el propietario del hotel. El hotel dispone de un restaurante en el primer piso que es bastante barato y delicioso (solo en efectivo) recomendaría este hotel.

¡Super recomendable el hotel Shenyang Northeast Asia, justo al lado de la estación de autobuses SK! Se puede llegar andando a la estación, lo cual es muy conveniente. Si vas en coche, tienen aparcamiento subterráneo gratuito, así que no hay que preocuparse por dónde dejarlo. El aire acondicionado con iones negativos de la habitación fue una sorpresa muy agradable; el aire era tan fresco como si estuvieras en un bosque, purificando el polvo, inhibiendo bacterias y ayudando a dormir, ¡disipando todo el cansancio del viaje! La habitación estaba limpia y era espaciosa, y el servicio fue atento y considerado. ¡Es una excelente opción para alojarse en Shenyang, ya sea por negocios o por placer!

Room was clean and spacious! Location was central and easy to navigate. The hotel was equipped with Smart AI - ‘Xiaodu’ to control the room settings and robots to send the delivery to our room. The staff was also professional and prompt in their service, their manager was checking in our stay to make sure that we were always comfortable. Recommend!

UUsuario anónimoThis establishment is located in an apartment building. It is not exactly a hotel but an apartment for rent. It is located about 6-7 minutes walk to the beach and it’s very close to Wanda Hotel. Going to this place from Bayuquan train station only takes 10 mins and the taxi cost is less than 10rmb. There are many taxis in front of Bayuquan train station exit so it is easy to get to the apartment.
The main receiving area of this apartment is on the third floor of another apartment building. When we got there, one of their staff immediately took us to another apartment building where our room was. The check in with our passports was unnecessary. It was easy and convenient.
Since it was an apartment, I did not have a really high expectation when it comes to the design of the place. Below is the summary of my review:
Good stuff:
1. Very beautiful view: Our room was the best in all the room options, according to the owner. The management upgraded our room. We got 180 degrees view of the sea. Below us was the view of the hot spring next door. There were no obstacles for the view. We saw everything in the horizon!
2. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful
3. The location is near the beach. 6-7 mins walk
4. The room was spacious with all the basic and necessary things. However, I did not expect to use disposable towels.
5. The room has a small kitchen with an induction cooker and a steamer. Ideal for a family with infants or toddlers.
6. Easy to get to by taxi
7. The bed was comfortable. They have a soft yellow blanket that my baby liked.
8. There are many restaurants by the sea serving seafood, barbecue and dongbei food.
9. You could easily rent umbrellas if you want to hang out by the sea. For a simple umbrella with a table and some stools, 200 for the whole day.
10. There is a small amusement park by the sea. A square with fun things to do. Fireworks at night and there are many other water activities you can do during the day time. It won’t be too boring.
11. The place is famous for digging in the sand, catching some crabs or collecting shells on low tide.
12. It could get pretty crowded around summer but it’s normal for a tourist spot.
13. The apartment is near a hotspring. Paid separately. Must book in advance.
Things for improvement:
1. The room could be a little cleaner. The drinking glasses were not properly washed
2. I could tell they only cleaned the bathroom floors but did not scrub the corners of the walls. Some dirt accumulated there. Could do better when it comes to cleaning.
3. Disposable towels were okay but real towels are a lot better for drying.
4. The bathroom is way too small. The door blocked the way in the bathroom and I hurt myself as I moved around since the distance between the sink and the door was so small. I am already a small person and this space is too small for me.
5. There was a weird smell that was coming out from the bathroom. It could be from the pipes. The management should check and maintain this place so there would be no weird smell in the future.
6. There are restaurants downstairs but the options are limited to only the things I mentioned above.
General take on Bayuquan:
It is a good place for a weekend getaway but it is not a well developed place to go looking for a good cafe to chill and hang out nor a place to find KFC or McDonald’s. There are many buildings that were closed due to inactivity or maybe buildings that were built but never used. Anyway, it can look better and do better if Bayuquan will improve its infrastructures like the walk ways, small parks and malls. It is a small, quiet city near a beach. If you are looking for a weekend getaway near a beach, this is one of the places to go to. You can go swimming but the water is not very clear. Staying for a day or two would be good enough.

VVyyc94Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE.
Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

KKalim’s worldUpon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a bright, welcoming smile. The check-in process was swift, and the staff kindly introduced me to the hotel facilities. They even unfolded a map to provide a detailed guide to Dalian’s highlights and the surroundings of the hotel. Politeness and warmth are truly at the heart of their service here. Guests need not feel uneasy in this unfamiliar city—the care they receive makes all the difference.
While the InterContinental brand lives up to its renowned reputation, it is truly the active dedication of the hotel staff that brings it to life. At the front desk, Grace Zhao left a bright and wonderful first impression of the hotel, and her kindness made me forget I was in a new place. The next day, Lily Xia kindly introduced me to the excellent breakfast and local Dalian specialties, offering me the chance to truly savor them—she is one of those who showed me what the ”Dalian smile” and genuine warmth are all about. As I finished breakfast, the cup of warm coffee she offered felt like more than just a drink—it was a gentle gesture, as if to say, ”We won’t let you leave empty-handed or without a fond memory.”
Personally, I feel that InterContinental Hotel truly has many wonderful people working here. It is also evident that the hotel invests actively and continuously in staff training. Located in the heart of Dalian, InterContinental Dalian enjoys an excellent geographical advantage, making it convenient and quick to get anywhere. The amenities here leave nothing to be desired—during my visit on a cold day, I enjoyed the spa and fitness facilities, which were thoroughly satisfying. The dining options are also diverse, catering to different tastes and offering delightful culinary experiences. Moreover, the room facilities, cleanliness, and the prompt, kind service from all the staff are advantages not easily found elsewhere in the area. As someone who travels frequently to this region for work, I can say with confidence: if asked about this hotel’s greatest strength, I would not hesitate to say it is the remarkable harmony of its people, location, and facilities.
I can genuinely say I have no regrets about leaving this review under my real name. If you wish to fully enjoy Dalian’s scenery, flavors, and people, this hotel is the wisest choice. Especially friends like Grace and Lily will leave you with the most beautiful memories of Dalian. I would also like to take this moment to express my sincere gratitude to all the other hotel staff who helped make my stay comfortable and memorable.

The big building is the spa. It’s not easy to miss.
The check-in is not in the big Spa Building. Overnighters have to go to the building next door, following the „check-in signs“.
There they inform you that:
- The day of check in you can use the Spa area until 10 pm.
- Day of checkout a delicious breakfast with much variety of cooked and fresh dishes, fruits, juices and coffee and sweets is served from 7-10am.
- If you check out before 10 am you can use the Spa area again until 6pm that day.
- To enter the Spa area you need to go to the big building. You need to let them know your room number and they need your passport / ID card.
- You will get a number for your individual locker. If you are a couple check the ticket with number for sign of female or male.
- You take off your shoes, exchange them for slippers they offer and store your shoes in your locker. You get a key you take inside which is for free.
- You will be led into gender separated changing areas.
- You get a free towel, lounge shirt and shirt pants to change in and sign for it with your key. There is staff to show you how.
- Your key shows your number and area in which your individual locker is located in. There is staff to show you how.
- Inside you first pass a gender separated area. Here you can be naked.
- Then you can leave that area and join the gender mixed area.
- It has 4 levels with indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs.
- Level 1 has outdoor pools, indoor pools, whirlpools, children’s water park and access to the wave park, which opens 4x a day for half an hour.
- Level 2 is more quiet with healthier whirlpool options.
- Level 3 has sauna houses for free open until 10pm, a movie theatre, KTV, food area and a children play area all open until 9:30pm.
- Level 4 is for private treatments.
In winter the outdoor waterpark/slides „the wave“ and terrace pools are closed due to the cold.
We were surprised of how relaxing the stay at the Spa was. There is many people but the Spa building is amazingly huge and has many different areas to lay down and corners in which it was very peaceful.
Our hotel room „Room Queensize-Bed“ was lovely and the staff very attentive. We ordered ice-cubes, extra water and had pizza delivered to the hotel.
All in all, a wonderful experience, which we will repeat.

Dining was a highlight: the restaurant, which had a truly vibey atmosphere, made it even better by great live entertainment. I also thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing spa treatment. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptionally helpful management. They made me feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure all my needs were met. Highly recommend for comfort, fun, and top-notch service.

UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, mi primera opción para invitar a amigos de fuera a visitar Dalian. Justo enfrente está el puente de la bahía de Xinghai, y por la noche, el espectáculo de luces es absolutamente fascinante. Los amaneceres también son hermosos, aunque lamentablemente me perdí la puesta de sol por una nevada inesperada durante mis dos noches de estancia... ¡Tendré que volver para verla!
Me encantó la señorita Dansey. Había comentado que mi hijo celebraba su cumpleaños y pedí una habitación en un piso superior, y no esperaba que una simple nota se convirtiera en una sorpresa tan grande. La habitación estaba decorada de forma muy romántica, con luces de cumpleaños, adornos y pétalos en la cama, y un pastel de cumpleaños de cortesía del hotel. ¡Todo fue inolvidable para el niño! Al hacer el check-in, nos dijeron que nos regalaban un pastel, y cuando les dijimos que el cumpleaños del niño era al día siguiente, nos trajeron otro pastel de terciopelo rojo, diciendo que era para que probáramos cuál nos gustaba más.
El desayuno era sencillo pero delicioso, especialmente la tortilla hecha al momento con huevo, ostras y repollo (no sé cómo se llama), ¡la recomiendo encarecidamente!

Este hotel está en un lugar excelente, a unos 3 kilómetros de algunas de las mejores atracciones del Dalian, como la Plaza Xinghai, la Ciudad del Agua de Venecia y el Castillo Dalian 🏰.

La habitación era muy tranquila, muy fresca, y las cortinas de descanso lo hicieron completamente oscuro, lo que me encantó.
También ofrecen un menú de la carta y incluso un servicio de noches tardías, que es muy útil si se levanta tarde o se enfoca.

Uno de los puntos destacados de mi estancia: golpeó la sauna durante unos 20 minutos, luego la siguió con un masaje relajado justo allí en el hotel.

Esta es la zona de desayuno es... tipo de aleatorio? Es en una calle en el segundo piso, y el diseño se sentía temporal. No hay mucha variedad, y no hay pequeñas mesa, sólo grandes compartidas para aproximadamente 10 personas. Un poco aburrido si estás solo o simplemente quieres un desayuno tranquilo. UUsuario invitado酒店工作人員很熱情，每天都是充滿活力，每次需要什麼打電話的時候響應是很快的，感覺剛打完電話，機器人就送到房間了，所以每次我都習慣打完電話去門口等着，早餐很好吃很好吃，無論幾點去 衹要沒有撤餐，種類都很齊全，我還開玩笑説 你家早餐沒人吃嗎？為啥還有這麼多，餐廳大姐説，我們保證每位用户來都是吃熱乎的，不會覺得來的晚感覺沒啥的感覺。所以我們也是減壓給住客，想睡幾點都行，真是太暖心了，客房大姐也是打掃房間很專業，也很麻利，主要很乾凈，能聽懂話 我説不想讓碰床品，真是每次都會滿足我的需求，點贊為這家酒店，很喜歡這個酒店的整體環境
