This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka.

El personal era amable, útil y atento. 👍🏻 Oye, no me he olvidado de pedir decoraciones de habitaciones para nuestro aniversario, pero por suerte, el personal fue lo suficientemente amable para satisfacer mi petición. Nos sorprendió con decoraciones simples y un pastel de complimentación, lo que hizo que nuestro día especial fuera aún más feliz y memorable. 🥰🎂 Un grito especial a la Sra. Ima, Sra. Izza, Sra. Aisha & Sra. Betty para su gran servicio. 👏🏼👏🏼 Su bondad realmente significa mucho para nosotros. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia, y la cama y las galletas estaban muy cómodas. También nos encantaba la vista! 🌊✨ Por último, realmente me encantaban las opciones y sabor de la comida, era variedad y buena calidad de los alimentos 😍 Me quedaría aquí otra vez y recomendaría este lugar a otros. En general, estoy muy satisfecho con mi estancia. ❤️

We came back to the Majestic after our last visit in June. While the location and hotel are great, service is inconsistent and attention to details is lacking - not something I would expect for a SLH hotel. Check-in: while check-in time was 3pm, we only got our rooms at 3:10pm & 3:30pm, after following up several times. We had to ask them about our welcome drink (got it during June visit) before it was served. Amenities: no welcome platter this time. Body lotion bottle was empty - supervusor didn't do a thorough check? Some of the room towels need to be replaced. They were FRAYED and grey, definitely past their life cycle. Staff: Friendly and helpful. The hotel is charming and nice. Would still choose this when visiting Melaka. Just need to address the areas hilited if it wants to be part of the SLH list.

Had a nice stay at Hatten Hotel overall. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had quite a good selection, so there were plenty of choices. When I first arrived, the TV remote wasn’t working, but I called the staff and they came over to fix it quite quickly, so that was appreciated. The only downside was the check-in process. It was really slow and I had to wait for more than 30 minutes before getting my room. Other than that, everything was good and I enjoyed my stay.

El hotel es grande, limpio y bien mantenido. Puedes caminar fácilmente desde el hotel hasta el centro turístico. O coger un coche barato. La piscina es grande y bonita y buena para relajarse o tomar el sol. La habitación es grande y tiene mucho espacio. La cama era grande y muy cómoda. El baño también era enorme. ¡Tenía una ducha separada y un jacuzzi! Muuuy agradable para desestresarse en el jacuzzi. ¡Tenía un refrigerador que funcionaba estupendamente y que realmente mantenía los alimentos fríos! ¡Las toallas eran bonitas y realmente suaves! El agua estaba caliente con mucha presión. ¡Vale la pena!

Had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore the area. I especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the overall hospitality and staff are all accomodating. It was a lovely experience, and I would definitely consider coming back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

I booked a 1-night stay in their Lux King Ocean Room at The Lisbon Melaka as I read that it’s a new international hotel that opened a year ago. The room feels very cozy when I entered. The fixtures were still new and the beds were comfortable. It’s come with a smart TV which is a plus point in this day and age. Though it will be better if the TV is slightly bigger as it’s only 32”. The balcony was dismal and the ocean wasn’t that therapeutic and was partially blocked. The breakfast buffet was a letdown as well. There wasn’t much options for selections though the hotel was proclaimed as a 5 star luxury hotel. For the room rate at about RM$337 on a weekday, it’s definitely on a higher side. I think likely also due to low occupancy. Throughout my stay, the hotel was fairly empty and not many rooms were occupied. The courtyard area was really nice, which elevates the resort feel. The pool and gym nearby was really small. So I did not use the facilities. The spa room wasn’t tenanted out too. There was no lift as well, definitely not user friendly for the elderly. Staff Shamirul and other guest relations personnel were polite too. Same applies to the security which offers good service. Will I return, it’s very unlikely.

Spacious room with additional 1 single bed. really exceed our expectation. big bathroom, we were really satisfied with the accomodation. dinner and breakfast provided in the room rate. Please join all free activities and amenities provided at this resort such as morning/night safari walk, movie watching, gym/library/swimming pool.
