First off - the website portrayed an entirely different resort. One that looked like intimate outdoor dining (it was a food hall that could easily seat 300. It boasted morning and evening wild game drives. We had to arrange and pay for that separately. The cabins had such poor lighting that we had to use our headlamps inside the tents at night. Even getting there was a fiasco. For starters there was a big communication breakdown with our driver arranged through the hotel who was to pick us up at Amboseli air field. When he didn't show, I messaged the hotel because they never provided his number to me. The hotel said - he's there at the air field now. He wasn't. It was completely empty except for us and the 2 rangers babysitting us because they couldn't leave 2 tourists there on the savanna with the wildlife. After messaging back and forth for an hour - our driver finally showed up. The rangers were NOT happy. Once at the hotel - the service was okay - at our first lunch the dining hall (yes it is vast) was nearly empty so we sat down at a table on the edge that had 3 place settings. The waitress asked us to move to a table with 2 place settings. We did but to a table right next to where the line queued. The original table sat empty our entire meal. The hotel was ”all-inclusive” but the meals provided only coffee or hot water for tea - no water or chilled drinks without extra payment. Lastly with regard to service - we each had a backpack and a 20 KG duffle. Our room was as far as possible from reception. Three porters fell all over themselves to separately collect our bags from the driveway and walk with them 15 feet to reception expecting a tip. But when it was time to take bags to the room - a full ten minute walk from reception - they vanished and we hauled our own bags. Same for departure, no one was available to help with bags until we literally got with 10 feet of reception and 2 porters rush up to collect and carry our bags the last ten feet? No thank you!

From the time we step out of our car, we were warmly welcomed by Geoffrey. It was my daughters birthday and I arranged with the lodge a package to celebrate her. They made the day so special for her with her room decorated with flowers, song and dance in the evening with a birthday cake - it was an unforgettable day! The rooms where charming and clean. We were very much taken care of for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely swimming pool and massage facilities. I am so grateful to all that made me and my family feel welcomed and cared for.

Not sure if he was the general manager or head of the reception was not accommodating at all like he did not want guests there despite a receptionist was willing to assist The GM had like a stone face !

La ubicación del hotel es particularmente buena, frente al monte Kilimanjaro. Mirando por la ventana está el Xuefeng que nos hizo admirar, y se siente como ”Xiling nieve en la ventana”. Abriendo la puerta y saliendo, la vista es muy amplia. Elefantes, cebras, ñus y antílopes se encuentran esparcidos por la vasta pradera con el Kilimanjaro de fondo. Hay un lago hasta donde puedo ver, bandadas de flamencos y otras aves acuáticas. Despierta a las 5 o 6 de la mañana para ver elefantes, ñus y búfalos alineados lentamente desde el pie del monte Kilimanjaro a lo largo de sus respectivas rutas. Si usa un teleobjetivo, también puede tener la suerte de ver la emocionante escena de la caza de un león. El precio del hotel incluye tres comidas, pero la orden de Ctrip decía que no incluye las comidas. Si no fuera por el recordatorio del camarero, habríamos perdido mucho.

安博塞利的酒店可能都比較一般，而且每家房間都不多，所以非常難定，酒店位置很好，靠近安博塞利國家公園，定的小屋，感覺比帳篷好一些，設施都比較老舊，衞生環境也很一般，但是服務還是可以的
