Absolutely magnificent hotel! Staff were very helpful, tending to any and every need. Rooms are clean and spacious. And big plus point is that it is connected to the Annapoorna restaurant, a must visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Can't wait to be back.

Good amenities, good breakfast and buffet dinners. I booked the hotel car for a day trip to Sadhguru’s Isha yoga foundation. I am impressed by the driver. He is a steady driver, knowledgeable and forthcoming in sharing his knowledge. The Chinese restaurant is great too! Overall, I find the staffs friendly and have a strong interest in fulfilling guests needs.
Upon my early-morning arrival on January 9, I was informed that a fire incident had occurred and that I would be transferred to Taj Club House, with assurances that it was of an equivalent standard. After checking in, it became immediately evident that Taj Club House is not comparable to Taj Coromandel. I was assigned a first-floor room, where the hallway was lined with unpleasant odors from sports shoes, and the room itself appeared dated.
I promptly lodged a complaint with Trip; however, their Chennai partner was unreachable. According to the agent, the Duty Manager, Rose, declined to offer any compensation or partial refund, despite the fact that I had paid a premium rate for Taj Coromandel and was instead accommodated at a lower-grade property, Taj Club House.
Good service at the breakfast and clean room service at front desk could be better especially one of the lady manager could improve on her attitude .

El hotel es un hotel muy bueno - a veces en la India 4-cases no puede disfrutar de habitaciones tan espaciosas y limpias (hay un mini-luxo). Al mismo tiempo, más de un precio asequible. Está situado en 5-7 minutos a pie del templo de Brahadisvar. Sólo un wi-fi débil está fuera del lado negativo. Me gustaría ver algo de carne - al menos salsajes de pollo ...))
Enjoyed our stay in Accord. Rooms were spacious, clean and neat. Breakfast spread was not bad. Quite convenient to go t.nagar shopping, takes around 5 min from the hotel.
The stay was comfortable and peaceful overall. The room was quiet, which I appreciated, and I slept well during my stay. The room itself was spacious and adequate for a restful stay.
However, I felt that the service could be improved, as it did not feel particularly warm or welcoming. Another disappointment was during my stay extension. As an existing guest, I would have appreciated a better rate offered directly by the hotel, instead of having to go through the full online booking process again.
Breakfast is another area for improvement, both in terms of food quality and offering more local dishes rather than a largely Western spread.
Hotel is nice and gym/pool are ok.

One let-down was that I had booked 2 rooms with one king-size bed. However, this was not available anymore so I was given 2 rooms with 2 small beds.
No apologies from the hotel or options to adjust/upgrade. This was a let-down and not handled well.

The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional. The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent. We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated.
Thank you Holiday Inn. You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them. Staff farewelled us on our last day!!
I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

UUsuario invitadoReturning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age.
On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay.
The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful.
However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol.
The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average.
The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation.
HHonser TanMy initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return.
Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted.
The second room had multiple functional problems:
* Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty.
* Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine.
* Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter.
Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols.
While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.
Bbash johnHotel looks old and too far to some locations. Didn't like the room given on the first day. Front office staff Mr Akash was very helpful to change our rooms the next day. And the conceige ( I forgot his name) was very helpful too.
