The Hotel is super good .. Everything are amazing..
But we face a scamming that we opened our safe to arrange some documents and cash then the housekeeping team arrived to cleanup … So i let them enter the room for cleaning but I didn’t close the safe since we are in the room in that time. The safe located inside the closet the one you can walk in ..
After they finished the cleaning We find 200 USD from our cash in the safe .. The cleaning team put the new laundry bag right on the top of the safe (in that time it was open) and now body noticed us that the safe is open …!!! I submitted a complaint to the front office of the hotel …!!! And i I described the cleaning staff to them exactly, and who was the person who entered the wardrobe containing the safe...!!! They said they would investigate the incident, and after two days they contacted me again saying they had questioned the cleaning staff, who denied taking anything from our safe...!!! And of course, we didn't find anything... which is obvious because no one would confess in this way without being pressured. And here's the question: why didn't the cleaning staff warn us that the safe was open when they went in to put the new laundry bag on top of it?

El personal es amigable y útil. Las habitaciones son limpias y espaciosas. Variedades de comida para el desayuno. Situación muy central - Menos de 10 minutos a pie del Delipark Mall y Tjong A Fie Mansion. También hay una estación de autobuses cercana, pero utilizamos la mayor parte del tiempo. Pls observa que en Indonesia no se mantienen en general pavimentos - por lo tanto, cuidado con los agujeros, las rodillas de metal, la superficie desigual, etc. Altamente recomendado.

El jacuzzi, el cuarto de vapor y la piscina están un poco ahogados, pero el gimnasio es enorme y el spa es agradable. La habitación en sí era realmente cómoda y bien mantenida. Además, el hotel es sólo a 5-minute a pie de DeliPark Mall Medan, que es un enorme centro comercial. En conjunto, me quedaría aquí de nuevo si visitara a Medan de nuevo en el futuro.

Un hotel de 4 estrellas del que se podría decir que es bastante satisfactorio.
Es solo que no puedes conseguir una habitación según tu solicitud.
Por un gran servicio
El desayuno es delicioso y variado pero suele acab**** y las colas son largas por lo que el dim sum es el más solicitado

Room is huge and super clean. Toilet come with bathtub and shower in different cubicle. Absolutely posh. The breakfast is above and beyond. I really enjoy the food as the have so many different varieties and the breakfast also serve on the top floor where the view of the surrounding of medan is part of the meal. Just breathtaking! I would come to this hotel if i were to visit medan in near future!

Este hotel está bien situado cerca del Terminal Ferry. La habitación es limpia y el servicio es bueno. El desayuno tiene una variedad de opciones desde la cocina occidental, local y asiática. We had a very pleasant stay at Emerald Garden Stay. The place is clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The environment is quiet and relaxing, perfect for resting after a long day. The room was comfortable, with good air-conditioning and strong Wi-Fi.
The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication very smooth. Location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.
Overall, a great experience and good value for money. I would definitely recommend Emerald Garden Stay to friends and family, and would be happy to stay here again.

TTrip.com local guidesThe service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.

El hotel dispone de un supermercado en la calle y de un supermercado muy grande a unos 5 minutos a pie del hotel. El hotel está muy cerca de las grandes tiendas, pero puede llegar fácilmente a través de un taxi de caja por unos 2 dólares en 10 minutos. La altura de la mesa no era realmente adecuada y no es suficiente para el trabajo de negocios. Sin embargo, terminé la mayoría de trabajo en la silla de repuesto con pijamas para el laptop. Excelente gama de canales de televisión incluyendo BBC y CNN. ($4 Aus Dollar) Usé la piscina que era grande en el segundo piso con vistas a la ciudad. TTing Anny TANGIf you’re looking for peace and quiet a bit away from the main town, Tuktuk Timbul is very well located. We stayed in one of their traditional-style little houses, which were very cute and charming. It’s a great spot if your plan is simply to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and do nothing much. The homestay has a restaurant (we didn’t try the food though), a pool, a ping pong table, and a billiard table — so you can easily stay entertained without leaving the property. For the price, it’s definitely good value.
That said, if you want to explore or do activities around Lake Toba, this may not be the best base. There isn’t much to do in the immediate area, and the staff weren’t very helpful when we asked for recommendations — apart from renting a scooter, they didn’t provide much guidance. Communication was also tricky as they don’t really speak English. Service felt a bit cold overall; the owners live nearby but never greeted us, which made us feel like we were disturbing them rather than being welcomed.
In summary: a good option if your goal is to switch off, relax, and stay put at the homestay itself. But if you’re looking for friendly service, local tips, or activities beyond the property, you might find it lacking.
