My recent stay at the Grand Cityhall Hotel was truly exceptional and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was immediately greeted by a warm, welcoming, and elegant atmosphere. This was evident in every corner of the hotel, from the exquisite interior design, a blend of classic and modern touches, to the thoughtful details within the rooms. However, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the quality of service. The team at Grand Cityhall exemplified 5-Star hospitality standards. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The check-in process was seamless, and I felt truly valued as a guest.

El hotel está situado en una ubicación estratégica y el cuarto es muy amplio con cama cómoda. Nuestra única queja es que nos reservamos una habitación sin fumar, pero se nos dice que está llena y que tenemos que permanecer en una habitación de fumar con fuerte olor a tabaco. El personal del hotel intentó pulverizar la habitación con frescura, pero el fuerte olor aún se abre. En general, el hotel es un buen alojamiento si sólo quiere un lugar cómodo y seguro para dormir después de un largo día, pero no esperan instalaciones o servicios de lujo.

We stayed here just for one night before catching the train the next day. The room itself was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was perfect for a short stay. However, all the rooms open directly onto the main lobby, so it gets very noisy early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this can definitely be disturbing. There’s also a very large dehumidifier in the corridor that makes a constant, unpleasant noise.

It’s a decent place with comfy beds and cooling air conditioning. But the problem is that the blower wasn’t mounted properly and is shaking like a sugar cane juice machine. Other than that no issue with the room. There is a welcome drink, to claim it you should go to a lounge on the second floor. When you get there they present you a menu and ask you to select a drink, only after you order the drink off their menu do they actually bring the welcome drink telling you that the drink you ordered is also on its way. I honestly believe it’s a gimmick or a scam. Very disappointed.

Un hotel de 4 estrellas del que se podría decir que es bastante satisfactorio. Es solo que no puedes conseguir una habitación según tu solicitud. Por un gran servicio El desayuno es delicioso y variado pero suele acab**** y las colas son largas por lo que el dim sum es el más solicitado

We arrived late around 9pm. The hotel helps us with the luggages from our van to the lobby. this hotel house is suggested by our tour guide. They helped to pack us toast for our early flight next day. Definitely will choose this hotel again if we come to medan again.

I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024. The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay. We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade. Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island. Apenas todos los bungalows se enfrentan al hermoso lago. Hotel is ok, but location quite far, only 1 indomaret is within walking distance. And big road in front and walking in medan felt not safe with their way of driving.

El hotel de la mejor calidad que he tenido en Medan, y me ha mejorado a la Executive porque el precio que pagué por la habitación doble en la aplicación de viajes era un poco más alto, pero aún mucho más bajo que el precio real de la Executive. No me gusta el hotel, pero no me gusta el hotel. A la noche, el personal llamará para decir que tienen una cena promocional en el restaurante. La mejor habitación si se queda con su pareja o familia, pero todavía necesita traer su laptop 😁
