«Hotel was clean, people were friendly, not to far from tower etc
pictures made hotel room look bigger than it is, it's very small. I paid for bed and breakfast, if I knew what breakfast would be like I would have skipped it.
U get small chopped tomatoes from tin which aren't even hot, would have prefers a real tomato. You get a small bowl of beans which is about a table spoon worth. The fried bread isn't even 1 slice or half a slice it's quarter slice . And 1 hash brown. Toast was cold aswell. Small glass of orange juice and coffee. Out of all that I drank orange and coffee and 1 slice of toast , couldn't eat rest. Others may find it ok but wasn't for me
Tv wasn't working and could only connect to WiFi in reception area.
Staff were lovely though .»

UUsuario invitadoomg from the moment I walked in i was attended to nothing was to much trouble i had a sea view double room there was a act on downstairs very loud was worried about the house but never heard a thing the decor is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and yhe feel of the hotel made up for that I had a fantastic stay it does just what it says on the tin I will definitely be goung back
UUsuario invitadoWe have stayed several times at the imperial, this time we upgraded to a double bed suite with sea view at a cost of £160 on a two night stay. Sadly the suite (Churchill Suite) didn’t meet expectations. In very urgent need of repair and decoration, windows in lounge area filled with silicone with huge gaps and letting cold in. Supposed to be able to open but all siliconed together. The quadrant shower leaked onto the floor from the tray and waste. We removed the wast cap to see if that helped, sadly it just revealed a disgusting black gunge inside the waste that had not been cleaned for a long time. Didn’t use the drawers in the bedroom, not clean. General cleanliness will be difficult to achieve due to the delapadated state of the suite as a whole including fixtures and fittings. I think Mr Churchill who resides in many picture forms on the walls within the suite would be most upset with the conditions. Even the window drapes had fittings missing making it difficult to close curtains. On a positive note, the breakfast is excellent, I hope that things can be improved at the imperial and we will hope to hear about any planned updates to this 4**** hotel so that once again we can enjoy a break there?
UUsuario invitadonice place. a little bit you get the feeling that this is a particular kind of investment opportunity for whoever owns it - buy an old Travelodge, operate it for a number of years with minimal maintenance until you run it into the ground and sell the place.
PP40ULWThe hotel and entrance are great, no complaints there. I’ve been a regular at another hotel within 5 miles of here, where the facilities are immaculate and the rooms are always meticulously clean. So I had high expectations.
On walking into my room (250), it was freezing. I immediately turned on the electric radiator, but was woken up at 2am by the thermostat flicking on and off repeatedly. The digital screen kept lighting up and going off it felt like there was a rave in my room. Highly annoying and not conducive to a good night’s sleep.
Before bed, I went for a shower and splashed foamy suds around as you do. After finishing, I was washing down the inside of the shower cubicle and noticed what I thought were leftover soap suds near the door handle. I went to wipe them off and I can tell you now, they were not soap suds.
Absolutely disgusting. The previous occupant clearly lacked basic hygiene, and although it shouldn’t be expected, the cleaners really need to have a keener eye for detail. This sort of thing should never be missed.
