Es mi primera vez que me alojo aquí. El hotel ha sido recientemente renovado y debería haber sido inaugurado hace unos años. Hay una entrada de metro abajo. Es muy conveniente ir a la estación de tren sur de Nanjing en solo 2 paradas de metro. También hay una tarjeta del equipo del salón ejecutivo. Consideraré quedarme aquí nuevamente en el futuro.

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

This hostel changed the idea I had of a great hostel! SEE OTHER REVIEWS FOR COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING CHECK-IN/STAFF: Simple & easy. There is a language barrier with most of the staff, but it's nothing a little patience, on both ends, and a translator can't fix. I was helped to my room with my bags. I personally enjoyed the staff and especially one of the cleaning ladies. She was truly a joy to see every day and seemed like she genuinely liked seeing me. They helped when my food order had issues, twice. I was helped getting I was running late for my train on check-out morning. ROOMS/FACILITIES: Comfortable, clean and curtain for the beds. I the rooms are reasonably spacious. The average person follows the general quiet in the rooms so you can sleep peacefully any time you want. The blanket is thick, some beds have extra little hooks. (Would be nice if they added them for all beds) Pillows are decent, towel and locker provided. Beds have North American & Chinese style plugs. The entire outlet system of the building seems to be that way. AMENITIES/GOOD TO KNOW Laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste individually wrapped units and earplugs provided at no cost. Towel/bed sheet change upon request is offered if stay is 3+ days. The main lobby toilets are used buy restaurants guests from next door. The is security at night (not personally for the hostel, for the alley) Private homes are across the way so keep the volume low to quiet after 10pm. OVERALL/PERSONAL THOUGHTS ” I would recommend staying here for a short or long period. Excellent valut for dollars. I felt very welcomed, comfortable & overall relaxed. My only real complaint is the lack of fridge,microwave and a sink area. As a budget traveler it can get costly having to order or go out for every meal is super inconvenient. To be fair, you can ask for your items to be placed in the staff fridge at the bar. The downside is having to wait and ask for staff to get it for me. This was super frustrating when I wanted my food and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally be able to do it. Not to mention the general inconvenience of not being able to go to a fridge at will. Even though there's a laundry area upstairs, many people will do laundry in the sinks leaving the bathroom floors constantly wet and countertops soaked. Not management's fault but could possibly be addressed in the rules. There are days where a gentleman will come sit outside the hostel or the general alley area with Barky McBarkerson his incredibly annoying dog that's constantly barking at everyone and everything. When they're directly on the property hanging out infront don't even think of enjoying the fresh air peacefully . I think there's a way for management to address bothersome behavior to their guest. IMO if management could somehow provide a common fridge and a microwave, they would be close to top tier hostel all things considered. Review based on multiple stays. Enjoy

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

La ubicación del hotel es bastante buena, sobre todo si viajas en coche, ya que tienen un aparcamiento asociado. Sin embargo, encontrar el aparcamiento y luego el hotel por la noche, y con lluvia, fue un poco complicado. Las señales no son muy claras. La entrada del hotel está en la entrada de la puerta de la ciudad, al lado del restaurante ”Shenxian Maci”. El hotel tiene tres plantas, y el vestíbulo está en la planta 7. **Ambiente:** Me encantó el estilo de la decoración, muy original. La habitación que reservamos tenía una bañera privada, lo cual les encantó a los niños. En general, está bien, aunque los detalles de la limpieza se podrían mejorar un poco. **Desayuno:** No se puede comparar con un desayuno de hotel tradicional en cuanto a variedad, pero la ventaja es la comodidad de no tener que salir a buscar dónde comer. **Servicio:** En general, bastante bien. Si alguien pudiera ayudar a cocinar los fideos en el desayuno, sería aún mejor.

被房間的獨特佈置所吸引 臨時改行程去了周莊 2號停車場離住宿的地方步行大約5分鐘 住宿的茶廳處處透露着細節 小橋流水、親子影屋、店內自帶露天小泳池（泳池水質一眼就能看出店主的用心管理）、功夫茶和壁爐配上～恰好的閑話家常～民宿的洗刷用品馬油、呂以及牙刷都看得出店家很注重品質（堪比家用，用了沒捨得扔，環保帶回家了） 贈送的早餐在街上老灶頭（出門左轉澄虛道觀邊上）6點開始可以自選餛飩小籠奧灶麪等各種特色小吃，早點味道很不錯～PS:慢行居老闆娘歡美鋁是一個頂好頂好的姐姐，人美心善～一趟趁興而至盡興而歸的旅途 期待下一次相遇

Ubicado en un antiguo salón gremial de Lingnan, con más de un siglo de antigüedad, el hotel cuenta con un tranquilo y elegante patio ajardinado al estilo de Suzhou, con paredes blancas y azulejos grises, que ofrece un refugio único del bullicio de la ciudad. Cada rincón revela una escena pintoresca, perfecta para tomar fotos, con intrincados detalles que muestran la cultura del tejido de seda, creando una atmósfera verdaderamente envolvente. Su ubicación es inmejorable, justo al lado de la antigua calle Qili Shantang, lo que facilita enormemente las compras, la gastronomía, los paseos en barco y la visita al Pabellón de la Estela Imperial. También se encuentra a pocos pasos de otros jardines, como el Jardín del Administrador Humilde. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y ordenadas, con ropa de cama suave y cómoda, y las zonas húmedas y secas separadas estaban muy bien diseñadas. ¡Mención especial merece Xiao Liu en recepción! Fue atenta y considerada. A nuestra llegada en coche, nos ayudó proactivamente con el equipaje, nos recogió y nos dejó cómodamente durante todo el trayecto, e incluso nos ayudó a llevar las maletas al aparcamiento al hacer el check-out. El check-in fue rápido y eficiente. Nos recomendó con entusiasmo restaurantes auténticos de Suzhou en la calle Shantang, nos sugirió rutas turísticas y nos recordó amablemente los horarios de los barcos y las atracciones. Atendió con prontitud todas nuestras necesidades, ofreciéndonos un servicio cálido y atento sin ser intrusiva, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera excepcionalmente cómoda. El desayuno es auténtico de Suzhou y el ambiente es tranquilo y apacible. Después de pasear por la calle antigua, regresar al hotel para relajarse es especialmente terapéutico. I can say this the best hotel I ever stay in nanjing, except the location is abit far from city but I really love the room and hotel design

We absolutely love our stay at Club Med Nanjing, and I can’t recommend it enough—especially for families who love the outdoors. The nature aspect of this resort is simply stunning. You can spend days just exploring the grounds, walking through the lush scenery, and discovering little hidden spots around the property. Our kids were constantly engaged, curious, and excited to see what was around the next corner. That said, what really made our stay special was the staff. I was genuinely surprised by how well the team speaks English. As foreign guests, we never once felt lost or unable to communicate. A very special call-out to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie—they have been incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. We later learned that they studied at university in Australia, which explains why communication felt so easy and natural. For any international travelers worried about a language barrier – don’t be. This team has you covered.. But more than just language, it’s their attentiveness to our children that blew us away. Diana, in particular, went above and beyond. She noticed how hard it can be to juggle three kids, so she would walk with us to the elevator and even push the button for us. It sounds like a small thing, but when you have your hands full with little ones, those little gestures mean the world. She also constantly checked in on our children, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and never left out. There were a couple of kids' facilities that were closed during our visit—slightly disappointing at first. But honestly, the staff turned that around completely. They were so accommodating, quickly pointing out alternative activities and making sure our children always had something fun to do. Whether it was a quick arts band crafts setup, a guided nature walk, or just extra time at the play areas that remained open, the team made sure no moment felt wasted. The kids didn't even miss the closed facilities in the end. Because of that, this resort is a fantastic holiday option for parents who actually want to relax. You can finally sit back, enjoy a coffee or a quiet moment, knowing your kids are not only having a blast but are also being genuinely looked after. The peace of mind that comes with that is priceless. If you're a family that loves nature, values warm service, and wants a holiday where both parents and children come back happy and rested—book Club Med Nanjing. And say hello to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie. They're the best.

He viajado por negocios muchas veces, ¡pero es la primera vez que un recepcionista recuerda mi apellido! Llegué al hotel de madrugada y el joven de recepción no solo me hizo el check-in rápidamente, sino que también me avisó proactivamente: ”Mañana baja la temperatura, Sr. Wang, póngase un abrigo extra al salir”. La habitación estaba impecable y sin olores, y la presión del agua en la ducha era excelente. Lo mejor es que está a solo 500 metros de la estación de metro, lo que fue un alivio para mi cita con el cliente al día siguiente, ya que la Línea 4 llega directo. ¡Las cortinas dejaban la habitación completamente a oscuras, lo cual es perfecto para alguien sensible a la luz como yo! Había enchufes USB a ambos lados de la cama, así que no tuvimos que pelearnos por el cargador. El personal de recepción fue amable, pero no excesivo; incluso me ayudaron a recibir un paquete y lo etiquetaron cuidadosamente. Si bajas, giras a la derecha y encuentras una tienda de conveniencia, y si giras a la izquierda, la estación de metro. ¡Súper cómodo para comprar fruta después de volver de hacer turismo!
