From the moment I arrived at the Diego de Almagro Hotel, the atmosphere felt unmistakably desert-like. The colors, the vibe, the arcades, and the traditional roof all suggested the spirit of the Atacama. The property is spacious, and with all rooms at ground level, it avoids that “industrial hotel” impression entirely. There is a large swimming pool at the center, framed by trees typical of northern Chile. My room faced the pool and was very well equipped, even featuring a smart TV. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, including cooked options like empanadas, and it was served in a rustic-style restaurant. The reception team were all very kind. The location of the hotel is also excellent—right in the center of San Pedro de Atacama, ideal for exploring the town on foot. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t reach my room, though it worked well in the outdoor areas. In the end, I didn’t mind much, as I enjoyed spending most of my time outside anyway.

All the service staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Yaz, Lydia and also the 2 gentleman at the front desk. The hotel is like a 15-25mjns walk from the ‘center’ of the town. However. You can easily ask the front desk to help get a taxi service at 4000 CLP. I like the clean room, the layout of the hotel it’s very spacious, and very quiet and peaceful. However as it’s a new hotel, they are just starting to build a swimming pool. The kitchen is not fully opened during lunch and dinner time. However during our stay, the restaurant was opened for dinner. And o had the opportunity of having a wine tasting one night. The Sommelier Camillo was such a joy to talk to and he has educated me so much on Chilean wine. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back again. The only problem I have is there’s no kettle though Yaz has always helped to bring us hot water when we bring a flask. And also there’s no tissues in the room

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and efficient staff made me feel welcome. Check-in was seamless, and they did me earlier check in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, offering a variety of breakfast options like omelette, sandwiches, yoghurt with granola, sweets . The hotel's location was convenient, close to public transport to go to San Pedro de Atacama and lots of Peruvian/Bolivian restaurants. Overall, the Ibis Hotel provided excellent service, comfort, and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

El ambiente es bueno, me quedé unos días. nada mal. El desayuno también está bien, aunque algunos no están acostumbrados. En general es muy bueno. Más cómodo. Mirando al mar. Tambien mas hermosa

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles in Antofagasta very much. The whole staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are not too small and not too big. I appreciate the environmental concept of the hotel, where they advise guests how to save water and do their part for the planet, and yet nothing is missing from the comfort. I could rest very well in the cozy bed with the soft sheets. The breakfast buffet offers everything one needs for a great start in the day. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Hôtel au calme avec de très beaux aménagements extérieurs et intérieurs. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très spacieuses, bien décorées et très bien équipées (avec notamment la climatisation). Chaque chambre a une vue dégagée sur le jardin aménagé et l'isolation phonique est bonne. L'hôtel dispose de 5 piscines (dont une grande), un peu vétustes mais restant très agréables après une journée dans le désert. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. L'emplacement est excentré mais l'hôtel propose un service gratuit de navettes très pratique avec une conductrice très sympathique. Seul bémol : le personnel à la réception a été peu conciliant et accueillant (nous sommes arrivés un peu en avance sur l'heure du check in et avons dû attendre pendant plus d'une heure, l'heure officielle du check in (15h) sans que personne ne nous prévienne de la disponibilité de notre chambre).

Nos alojamos dos noches, del 2 al 3 de marzo de 2025. Pudimos relajarnos del cansancio de la excursión de dos noches y tres días a Uyuni, ya que el hotel nos ofreció camas cómodas y limpias, además de una ducha con agua caliente. El hotel cuenta con un hermoso jardín y una piscina. El desayuno nos pareció muy bueno. Nos impresionó mucho la atención del personal y del gerente, quienes nos ayudaron a resolver una situación difícil. Además, uno de los empleados se ofreció a traducir del español a nuestro idioma materno para facilitarnos la comunicación.

Al principio fue difícil encontrarlo porque la ubicación era ligeramente diferente según Google Maps. Buen estado de la habitación en la calle principal, Personal amable y desayuno delicioso y variado. ¡Estoy muy satisfecho con el ambiente agradable! Extendido por dos días más :)

Excellent property. 2 mins away from the Caracoles street. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely little swimming pool. Lot of parking space too. Staff were very helpful. So all in all a wonderful place to stay.

El hotel es similar a una zona pequeña, el coche entra y sale de la puerta, alguien guarda y mantiene la puerta en manos de la gente, el coche está estacionado en la zona pequeña muy seguro. Hay restaurantes en la zona pequeña y la cena es buena. Deja el hotel a más de las 4:00 de la mañana, la recepción está lista para el desayuno. El servicio es bueno.
