The experience my family had at this hotel was nothing short of complete excellence! The location, price and quality of the hotel was 10/10! Ideal for a family or individuals/couples. But the thing that stood out the most, was the hosts! Whilst we had to use translation tools to communicate, they went above and beyond anything I've ever expected or thought a host would do. We had a private tour of the old town, with many recommendations for the best restaurants and sights to see. They handled buying the entry tickets for the sightseeing and even cooked us homemade dumplings (which were so delicious!). We needed last minute diapers, and I was taken to the supermarket on the scooter. I could list the many many things they did for us, but that would be multiple review pages, suffice it to say, this was the best experience I've ever had, in any accommodation that I've ever stayed in and I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. My only regret was that we couldn't stay for longer!

If there was a score higher than 5, this place deserves it. This humble hotel is located in a quiet picturesque location but stone’s throw away from the Main Street of Tongli. The bed is so soft and inviting, especially after a long day of travel. All facilities (toiletries / towels / water etc) provided which made my stay very fuss free. But most of all, the host is so forthcoming with his help and food/sightseeing recommendations. I had an unforgettable time because of his kindness. Thank you and I’ll be back again!

The location is convenient and next to the Heart of Tongli Ancient Town. The window view is fantastic where we can see the river and the nearby residence The hotel owner is super super hospitable. He showed us around attractions, restaurants, helped us to book the car despite the language barrier

Great location and friendly host. Unit was well equipped and comfortable. Host even provided tea leaves for us to enjoy a cup of tea in the unit. Great stay at Tongli.

I stayed at this inn back in November 2023, and everything was absolutely perfect. The owners were so kind, friendly and always went out of their way to help all travelers. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Not to mention that view!! Honestly the best place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Suzhou region. There were also thoughtful touches like the amazing soaker tub and free local tea! I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. I hope to be back someday

The owners are exceptionally helpful and kind. They upgraded us to a bigger room too upon arrival without even us having to request. Location is also top notch. It is only about 5 minutes' walk away from the main Tongli center. The room is spacious and with views of the canals. Highly recommended

Friendly owner,helped us carried our luggage from train station to hotel and get us the discounted entrance tickets to Tongli old town.

Good location, in a quiet corner but not far from the center of the town since the town is tiny. A very accommodating host who picked us up from the town entrance and arranged a taxi when we left. We got a good sleep.

Great location right at the river

Location is amazing, and the view from the bedroom is splendid. Rooms were neat and tidy. The owner was very helpful. He came to pick us up and drop off at the gate. Definitely going back there.
