We booked a 5 day holiday in rhodes town, which included, flights, transfers and accommodation at the City Plus Hotel We knew it was a 2star and thats fine , we loved the location and surrounding area Bering in mind its only a 2 Star and we were very pleased with the room , comfortable beds ,not soft , quite firm , perfect Breakfast was not included, so that was extra €9 and have to say it was Lovely, something for everyone, even bacon eggs and sausage The jewel in the crown are the staff A family run establishment and we arrived as guests but left as friends Especially Jannis and Thassos Thank you so very much for making our little holiday , a wonderful experience and we will definitely return Paul an Dave

Lovely hotel that is very central in Fira. We stayed on the hotel side of Antonia and loved the decor of the room. We appreciated that they had shutters outside to help keep the noise and light of the room. The room was nicely appointed with many lights and we enjoyed the decor. The bed and pillows were very comfy and we appreciated that there was a coffee/tea station and a mini fridge in the room. The room was large enough for the two of us and there was a nice small balcony outside with a small table and two chairs. The bathroom shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed only had one sheet on it but there was a comforter and the temperature was easy to control. There was slippers available in the room which were good for the cold washroom floor. The hotel rooms have smart TVs that are easy to connect to for Disney+ or Netflix but you have to install an application if you'd like to screencast. The hotel has some nice common areas to hang out including two pool areas and a space by reception. The pools were closed when we came in March but it was also a little cool so we did not mind. They should be cleaned and ready to go by the summer. We really enjoyed the space by reception where there are lots of seats and benches to sit and hang out with other guests, or in our case the rest of our family. Anytime you are in the common area the staff will offer to make you a coffee or tea which was very nice of them. The staff are sincere and welcoming. Once we checked in they asked if we had some time or if we would want to go directly to our rooms. We said we would have time and they brought out a map of Santorini and marked down the places we could check out during our stay. The hotel also offers a good tour of the island for 40 Euros per person which includes 7 stops including Oia, red sand beach, a black sand beach and the monestary. We had 5 people in our group and did our own tour using a car rental company nearby but would consider the hotel's tour if we were just a couple. The hotel staff were helpful and responsive even before we came - they assisted us with a booking error I had made and we resolved it quickly over the phone and a short email. Transport to/from the hotel from the airport is easy because there is a bus station nearby and it costs 2 euros per person and the bus station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus wasn't running too frequently during our stay on Santorini and if that is the case during your stay you can book the hotel's shuttle service - they have a large comfy van and charge 7 Euros per person. The alternative is a taxi and you are at the will of the driver for the ~10 minute drive and could be charged 40-50 from what we hear. The hotel does not offer breakfast or room service but there are many good restaurants nearby. The hotel recommended a few that were within a five minute walk of the hotel and the one we tried was lovely. There is a grocery store about 100 m from the hotel that has pretty much everything and there's a bakery near the Fira Main Square. Souvenirs can also be bought at the Fira Main Square and they probably have the best prices we saw in Santorini for souvenirs! Overall, it was a great stay and because we stayed in March we got an awesome price. The room we had was nice, quiet and comfy during our stay.

The hotel is situated in the centre of the new town area close to harbour and lots restaurants and bars. It is within easy walking distance of bus station and rhodes old town. The room are basic but nice. Its a family run hotel and the father manager made us feel welcome. The breakfast is basic but then the price for hotel is cheap. I was more than happy with everything about hotel. Downside is street noise but is is situated in busy area. For the money paid its well worth it and I would not think twice about returning. If you are looking for cheap hotel with basic breakfast located close to everything then check out price.

Vino a Santo Torini para vivir en Ferra más conveniente. Recomendado para vivir en Ferra tres días, la residencia de Ia es demasiado costosa para ir a Ferra a Ia y a otras atracciones, el autobús es más completo, y puede en Fila con un día para envolver a Iaa al atardecer La casa está casi hasta la cima de la montaña, el propietario es muy bueno y la familia se siente bien con dos restaurantes de la familia Ferra.

The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

Barato, muy buena ubicación (cerca de la estación de autobuses de Fira), personal amable. ¡Podría dejar mi equipaje antes de la hora del check in, incluso después del check out! Pasé una noche aquí, conocí a algunos viajeros agradables, desafortunadamente pusieron música a todo volumen hasta casi la medianoche. El Moschos Hotel está situado justo a la playa y ha sido renovado en 2020/2021. El hotel es propiedad de familia y los propietarios fueron super bienvenidos y amigables. Durante el proceso de reserva, usted verá fácilmente qué habitaciones ya han sido renovadas. La habitación era muy confortable y la zona estaba tranquila. El hotel dispone de una piscina muy agradable, de restaurantes a pie y de unas cuantas caminatas sin necesidad de coche (por ejemplo, hasta el cercano por monasterio). El camión del aeropuerto fue de 20 minutos y fue de 30 euros con punta.

Reservé esta estancia en este albergue a través de la opción *********** y seleccionada flexible (precio más alto) que permitió cancelar gratuitamente hasta 5 días antes de la fecha de llegada. Desafortunadamente, tres días antes de llegar tuve un caso de muerte en mi familia debido a lo que tuve que cancelar mi viaje. Teniendo en cuenta que mi reserva en ese momento no era reembolsable, expliqué la situación en un mensaje que envié al albergue y pidió al menos una devolución parcial. El hotel se negó a hacerlo sin explicaciones y me cancelé porque no podía viajar de todas formas y se subrayó mucho debido a las circunstancias descritas para seguir discutiendo el caso. Unos días después, me encontré con *********** y pregunté si podían contactar de nuevo con el albergue si están dispuestos a reconsiderar su decisión y permitir una devolución parcial si se encargan de llenar la cama en las fechas que cancelé ( lo que estoy seguro que lo hicieron porque era temporada alta y la demanda creciente en Santorini) también ignoraron su mensaje y después de haber sido contactados de nuevo por *********** se negaron a devolver un centavo. Aunque se trataba de la política de cancelación, me decepciona mucho la total falta de flexibilidad y, en particular, el hecho de que no hayan tenido en cuenta los mensajes que les han enviado. Entiendo que como empresa tienen que cuidar de sus ingresos, pero creo que podríamos haber encontrado una solución que se beneficie mutuamente. No me gusta escribir reseñas como ésta, pero, desgraciadamente, cada viajero puede a veces enfrentar circunstancias extraordinarias que podrían dar lugar a cancelar el viaje en el último minuto, incluso fuera de los plazos fijados por las políticas flexibles. En estos momentos se aprecia mucho la comprensión y la flexibilidad de las empresas en la búsqueda de soluciones que se beneficien mutuamente. Después de esto, no me gustaría quedarme en este lugar en el futuro.

Arriving in the early hours of the morning check in only took several minutes. The Africa Hotel is in an ideal location to visit many of the attractions Rhodes has to offer, the bus station 10 minutes walk away, the old town the same distance. Rhodes is beautiful and I also enjoyed day trips to Lindos, Simi Island and Faliraki Beach to name a few. Breakfast at the hotel varied every day with various hot food plates, cereals, meat and fruit. I slept in a basic room which was spacious but perhaps next time would like to view the superior rooms to compare. One outstanding aspect of the hotel were the staff who work well as a team to provide perfect service to all clients, arriving as a guest but leaving good friends, Thank You Katerina, Michalis, Nikos and Vaso for the laughter and friendship we shared. I will miss you all and hope to see you again in the near future, Best Wishes, Anthony x

Convenient location, friendly helpful staff, spacious accesible kitchen with lots of cutlery and other options for prep. Ovens and stovetops all worked fine, and fridges had lots of space. Staff had tips on local places to visit, and did outings like the highly recommended sunset sail trip. Incredible experience there What disappointed me was where I stayed in the hostel. I was put in the basement, in a room with 2 other people. The 3 beds room option does NOT work. Horrible idea, any sounds are made louder because the space is so tight. Also, during my stay, basically everyone there was sick or coughing, or something was going around. Some of the staff got sick, and a few members despite having colds or active coughs, were actively working instead of isolating or resting. I saw one member cough right into their hand then go to pick fruit to make a drink at the bar with, yikes. Some of the staff though know to be responsible and isolate... Smacked my head 5 times going to the washroom or going up and down the stairs, or under low doorways. Felt like I was a prisoner or something else by being in the basement, it really made the stay worse. Also, the room is right next to the kitchen and outdoor seating area, so all that noise comes right into your room. My suggestion: stop renting the basement out, enforce quiet hours earlier (some of the staff really did not care about that). Would not stay again, sorry. My visit to Rhodes was great except for this.

Un hermoso hotel con personal muy amable - como usted esperaría para un 2 estrellas no es el mejor lugar en Grecia, pero es perfecto para aquellos que esperan estar fuera y sobre constantemente. Usamos como un lugar para dormir y tener unos pocos diarnos mientras se preparaba y fue genial: el personal no podía haber sido más útil darnos un fob clave para que pudiéramos llegar tarde a la noche, ofreciéndonos bebidas gratis y reservando taxis

Estuve en este hotel solo 3 días y les puedo decir que estuve bien. La habitación estaba limpia y el servicio de limpieza también era genial. El único defecto es que en las habitaciones con ducha, después de tomar una ducha, lamentablemente el agua se fue a todas partes porque no había ducha sino solo una cortina. Por lo demás todo es excelente.

El hotel está situado en el centro de la colina, si Fira lo hace. The Narkissos Hotel in Kamarie is a cheap no frills Hotel, the rooms were very clean, shower room and bedroom with a fridge, and a balcony, the food was very nice, it was a short walk to the beach, there a Tavenas along the road to choose from, the beach is black pebble stone, and lots of shops and Tavenas and the way down the beach road, there are bars to have a beer in I sat in one near the end of the beach mile had a beer and watched the planes come in to land, The manager was very helpful in asking for trip ideas,

Muy buena experiencia. Me hospede en una beach cabin, la cual contaba con una cama grande, un ventilador, ventanas, luz etc. Chico, pero con lo necesario para hosped****. Al igual que el resort, tiene todo para lo que necesites. La playa muy linda y el bar/fiesta estuvo excelente. Muy recomendado.

Nos quedamos 4 noches con un grupo de amigos. El hotel es precioso, con habitaciones muy coquetas. Algunas pueden ser un poco estrechas, por lo que conviene preguntar. Los colchones son magníficos, fue un sitio silencioso, donde dormir bien. La señora Kiki en la recepción nos asesoró muy amablemente sobre la ciudad, sus sitios, las playas. Nos brindaron mapas y horarios de buses impresos. Cada habitación tiene disponibilidad de agua embotellada, y cafetera con cápsulas incluidas en el precio. Tienen frigobar a precios razonabes. Encontramos muy bueno el vino blanco del frigobar y al precio del supermercado. Dos puntos que merecen destaque de este hotek son, que queda muy bien ubicado con respecto a los puntos de entrada y salida de la isla, muy cerca de la plaza. Nosotros fuimos ligeros de equipaje, sin maletas grandes y fue una buena decisión porque vayas donde vayas hay calles estrechas, escalones y pendientes. El otro punto a destacar, y mucho, es la terraza. La vista es magnífica y hay mesitas. Se puede ir con el café del desayuno, o con una copa de vino y sandwiches de tardecita y se disfruta muchísimo. Recomendamos.

What a great place! I stayed here a week. The views are incredible but more importantly it’s the staff. Yana and family make this hotel what it is. It’s a 10 min walk down to the town, then a walk through to the picture perfect Little Venice. You can get room service and the picture attached is what I had all for €17. Huge Greek salad and was enough for the next day! Frappes are €3. The rooms are basic. Cleaned every day. Bathrooms are small but you do not spend time in your room! They are clean. Have a fridge, hairdryer, Air con and a safe as standard. I asked for a kettle so I could make a cup of tea. Nothing is a problem. You must try their baileys frappe ! Breakfast is your basic hotel breakfast but is lovely Greek yoghurt, honey, fruit, toast croissants, ham cheese etc. They do drop off and pick up from airport/port €20 each way. Always answered my messages through booking com. I travelled solo. Felt very safe walking into town at night and back. If I’m ever back here I will def stay at Gorgona. Handy to get buses from the port and about a 20 min walk to Fabrica the main bus place which Yana gave me directions for and I didn’t get lost! Which take you all over the island.
