Llegué solo a Xinjiang. La ventaja de este albergue juvenil es que tiene un buen ambiente, limpio y ordenado, y un gran espacio. El baño y la cocina son de uso gratuito. Todo el albergue juvenil es muy grande, con tres habitaciones completas. La habitación de niñas para 14 personas en la que me alojé casi no tenía espacio durante el día. La gente, todos son muy tranquilos y el colchón es muy cómodo. Estuve en este hotel durante los cinco días que pasé. En mi opinión, está clasificado entre los tres primeros. El único inconveniente es que el transporte no es muy conveniente. Está a diez kilómetros del centro de transporte de pasajeros de Yili, pero el albergue ofrece alquiler de bicicletas.

Esta estadía supera las expectativas! La habitación es amplia y luminosa, el espacio entre tres camas es razonable, no se siente engordado, los amigos de la pareja tienen alta tasa de utilización del espacio. Los productos de cama son suaves y con piel, son especialmente perfumados una noche, y las instalaciones en la habitación son completamente limpias y los detalles están muy disponibles. El servicio también es especialmente intimidad, hay demandas rápidamente respondidas, la próxima vez que tres personas se desplazan, ¡deberán ser cinco estrellas!

Compact, but very comfortable and modern room. Plenty of food options around and the classy Wanda Plaza mall just across the road. Very helpful front desk staff. Some foreign travellers might find it a little hard to find because there are quite a few small hotels in the same tall building- it's just a matter of walking around the building to find the entrance (in Chinese above the doorway).

Excelente ubicación y excelente relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y la habitación tenía todo lo necesario.
Mi única preocupación fueron unos huéspedes extremadamente ruidosos en otra habitación, que continuaron desde la medianoche hasta las 6 de la mañana una noche. Admito que no se lo comenté al personal porque me pareció demasiado tarde, así que no puedo opinar sobre su eficacia. Estoy seguro de que habrían ayudado a solucionarlo. Esto significa que la insonorización no es perfecta, pero todo lo demás estuvo muy bien.
Disfruté de mi estancia y volveré si vuelvo a Kashgar.

It was our first night in china and I immediately fell in love with the host and the location. The atmosphere is amazing, the spirits are near and you accepted as a part of the group the moment you step into it. The host showed us the greatest noodle palace I have ever seen and it’s around the corner. There is an intense party district within 15 minutes of walking. All your wishes will come true in Kailash! Would book again and already thinking about returning in the future. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We stayed as a family of 5, the room was with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, kitchen and bathroom. Very spacious and convenient option. Every day the room was cleaned once we are out in the morning. Supplies and amenities were replaced or added. Reception girls were very helpful. The owner is a kind lady. The window view is charming, mountains view in a day time, city lights at night. Downstairs are a few shops and a cafe with delicious baozi&jiaozi. I would definitely return to this place again 👍🏻

Este es mi alojamiento favorito durante mi viaje a Kashgar y Taskul.
La tía del dueño aquí es tan agradable y guapa !
No hubo problema con el inicio de la sesión para extranjeros, y la ubicación es conveniente cerca de Food Street y Seokdujeong.
El albergue es limpio y hay todo lo que necesitas en el primer piso de un salón compartido.
No podía estar juntos porque no tenía tiempo, pero cada noche, mis amigos chinos quedando en el albergue me preguntaron dónde iban y dónde iban.
Es como una casa de huéspedes en Jeju Island.
Si tengo más tiempo, quiero quedarme aquí y mirar más a Tascuergan.

Great hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!

La primera habitación tenía un olor muy fuerte en el baño que lo hizo inusable. La mañana siguiente nos dimos cuenta de que hay otras habitaciones con ese problema.
Recomiendo al hotel que corrija esos problemas.
El hotel estaba lleno de habitaciones, pero no podían cambiar de habitación durante la noche.

TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

TTrNguyenHotel’s owners are very helpful and friendly despite our language barriers. They took me to get cash and a SIM card. Helped me to go to the bus station and other miscellaneous things.
Location is a little bit off. Can be hard to get a taxi and there aren’t many restaurants around but you can ask the owners for help. They’re willing to hell.

YYung NuggI extended my stay at a 6 bed dormitory.
There is a girl who speaks english at the reception.
Location was perfect for me, near the metro station and a busy street with clubs and restaurants.
You can use the laundry machine for free but doesn’t include detergent. You can either buy it at a local store(probably 6CNY for a small bottle) or vending machine in the hostel for 2CNY.
Dryer wasn’t powerful enough, ended up running it for a fee hours (you can just dry it in your room since the air is quite dry).

When i arrived in the middle of the night, the owner(or senior staff idk) was drinking and smoking with his friends in the commons. Whilst I was checking in with another staff member, they discussed among themselves where I could be from based on my appearance. As a young woman traveling alone, I found this moment quite unpleasant.
I had booked the 4 people's dorm. They happened to be no other guests in the dorm that night. It was nice to have the room for myself. However, the room had not been cleaned up. My bed had been made, but on the trash was some trash and laying around. The previous guests had also smoked in the room. They had left their sigarettes floating in a noodle pot and the room stinking. I asked for another room. The tipsy owner first denied the room smelled, till we stood in front of the floating sigarettes. There was no other room available, so i slept there.
By morning, the commons looked like a different hotel. There was a friendly and professional lady at the desk who checked me out. She also kept my luggage for the day, which was very convenient.
For anyone who has never been in Urumuqi before, this is not the city center. The hotel is located in a tower close to Ulumuqi train station. It's convenient if you're hoping on or off the train, but you'll need a taxi to get you to part of the city worth visiting.
Overall, I had a terrible experience, but it's probably not how most travellers would experience this hostel. And, it's quite cheap.

UUsuario invitadoThis accommodation was in an excellent location at the edge of Liuxing street area, near many restaurants and shops. It is near public transport and a main road. The host was super nice and helpful. We chatted quite a bit using translate apps since I did not speak Chinese and he didn't speak English. I booked a single room with a shared bathroom, which was very small and simple, but the host kindly upgraded me to a room with an ensuite for no extra charge. The building is old and could benefit from some renovations, but is clean and well-kept, and it has an old-fashioned charm to it with large, lovely arched windows. The rooms were very basic but sufficient, and the room with the ensuite has a good amount of space. There were nice large windows (although my view was blocked by some signs on the awning). There were curtains but light came through so I recommend bringing a sleep mask, and sound can come from outside so ear plugs also recommended. I also extended my stay for a few nights and the host was very accommodating. I was allowed to use the washing machined which the host helped me with. He also allowed me to leave my bags in the reception area after I checked out. There was wifi. There was tea/water at reception. It is great for someone on a budget. I included photos of the reception as I forgot to take photos of the other rooms. I am very grateful to the host and would stay here again.

HHuey YeeLa hermana Chen Fang es un personaje muy vivo. Está caliente y bienvenida! Una vez llegamos al punto de entrada en el pueblo de Baihaba, nos recogió del parque de coches en el punto de entrada. El hotel está muy bien situado y nos hace sentir muy cómodos. ¡La vista del sol es absolutamente sorprendente!
Su hermana también es muy cuidadosa. La habitación estaba un poco fría en la noche y cuando la informábamos, vino a ayudar a ajustar la temperatura. Sin necesidad de decir, dormimos muy bien esa noche. La habitación estaba limpia y las camas estaban muy cómodas. La única mejora sería ofrecer toallas en lugar de las disponibles.
