Y no dejaré de repetirlo, Gracias a nuestra amazing Landlady. Cuando viajas, las personas son las que hacen el viaje memorable, y ella definitivamente hizo nuestros días en Kashgar inolvidables. El día después de que nos fuimos ya la extrañamos. El hotel es perfecto, las habitaciones son confortables, las camas son agradables, se siente como en casa, y la ubicación es increíble. (Y hay un gato muy amable!)

Excelente ubicación y excelente relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y la habitación tenía todo lo necesario. Mi única preocupación fueron unos huéspedes extremadamente ruidosos en otra habitación, que continuaron desde la medianoche hasta las 6 de la mañana una noche. Admito que no se lo comenté al personal porque me pareció demasiado tarde, así que no puedo opinar sobre su eficacia. Estoy seguro de que habrían ayudado a solucionarlo. Esto significa que la insonorización no es perfecta, pero todo lo demás estuvo muy bien. Disfruté de mi estancia y volveré si vuelvo a Kashgar.

Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

First and foremost, this hotel accepts foreigners. The hotel is quite ok but not great. I booked a no-window non-smoking room (don’t do it, go for room with window) because I thought there is more chance people still smoke in non-smoking rooms with windows. The first room they gave me, put the key card on and electricity didn’t work. Waited for them to check with no result so I was relocated to another room. It’s non-smoking but I can clearly smell the smoke. Took 2 days for the smoke smell to go away which is a pity. The room is small but enough for a solo like me. Each floor they built 4 lines of rooms, the 2 middle lines stay wall-to-wall to each other and are the ‘no-window’ rooms. I would definitely recommend you to choose the room with window, because it means you don’t share a lot of ‘walls’ to other room and have a window to open at least for circulation if room is smelly or if room is too hot. In my case, my room smells smoke, and the room heater system only allows 34-37 degree celsius which is crazy! Very hot if turned on so I had to turn it off the whole time I stay at the hotel. Even though it is winter time, the whole hotel is already on heater. Unable to adjust room temperature is annoying because it means no air circulation. There is a blowing machine (similar to a fan) in the room but it is not efficient quickly enough. The room feels extremely suffocating. I did really wish for a window. Also because the no-window rooms share 3 walls with other rooms (not counting the upper floor), it’s more bad-luck chances for weird noise. In my case, I had to endure one whole freaking night with 2 loud Uyghur couples who cannot hold themselves back from banging the freak out and making all kinds of terrible terrible noise. Seems like no soundproof for these walls.

The homestay owner, Chen Fang sister is an absolutely lively character. She is warm and welcoming! As soon as we reached the entry point to Baihaba village, she picked us up from the car park at the entry point. She is very sociable and made us feel extremely comfortable. In that 10 mins ride, she managed to gave us an overview of the village and recommended places that we can visit including the horse ride to the peak. This is a must-try! The sunset view is absolutely amazing! Do try this. Her sister is also very caring. The room was a little cold at night and when we informed her, she came over herself to help adjust the temperature. Needless to say, we slept very well that night. The room was clean and beddings were very comfortable. The only improvement would be to offer towels, instead of the disposable ones. Everything else was great! No breakfast is provided with the homestay (or at least we didn't book it). There are many eateries and shops around us within walking distance so the location is perfect. For the horse ride, she arranged for the horse riding company to send a car to pick us up to the riding location. And of course, dropped us back to the homestay afterwards. This was one of the most memorable day throughout our Kanas holiday! Thank you sisters for your warm welcome! Highly recommended!

I booked the room with a private sauna in the room and that was amazing! Coming back to the room every day after skiing and sitting in the sauna felt good! Such good value for money. The room is very big with a long balcony and a view of the mountains. The only thing lacking was the breakfast - it only started at 9.30am, which is a bit late for me if I want to start skiing at 10am when the first chair lift begins. The breakfast spread was also quite small, I would have appreciated for soy milk to be included as I do not drink dairy milk. The daily housekeeping service was mainly clearing out trash and bringing fresh towels, the floor/table were not cleaned. There was no flexibility to do a slightly later check-out and no free airport drop-off service like some of the other hotels in the similar price range offered. There is free drop-off and pick-up service to the ski field, which is about 5-min drive from the hotel. The best part of my stay is the reception staff who were friendly, kind and helpful! I needed help navigating the Chinese apps to retrieve a parcel and couldn't do it on my phone, so he helped me do the booking on his phone, liaised with the courier and paid first for it, sorting out the logistics for me, and I transferred him the money after. Very grateful for that because it helped me saved me a lot of time and hassle! Upon check-out, I had left my mobile phone charging in the reception area when I left for the airport and they drove over to meet me somewhere around the city while I waited in the taxi, to give my phone back to me, so that the driver didn't have to spend time going back - so that I can catch my flight in time. Super grateful for their kindness and support, going above and beyond.

Hotel’s owners are very helpful and friendly despite our language barriers. They took me to get cash and a SIM card. Helped me to go to the bus station and other miscellaneous things. Location is a little bit off. Can be hard to get a taxi and there aren’t many restaurants around but you can ask the owners for help. They’re willing to hell.

Habitación: Es un albergue juvenil recién inaugurado. La habitación está muy limpia. Alguien la limpia y cambia la ropa de cama al hacer el check out. La habitación tiene ventilación las 24 horas y no hay olor a decoración nueva en la habitación. El agua caliente de la ducha de la habitación llega rápidamente y el volumen de agua es grande. Bañarse es muy cómodo. Entorno: Hay un restaurante y una tienda de conveniencia en la planta baja, lo cual es muy conveniente. Otros: La habitación está en el piso 23-25, con vista amplia y buena vista. También hay un gato, muy lindo.

La ubicación es muy buena, en la orilla de la carretera nacional, el espacio de estacionamiento es grande y está a unos minutos de conducir a Siemen en la zona de paisaje de Latijn. La zona de paisaje de Latijn está muy en la dirección este del portal, muy cómodo para jugar cerca de Siemen. Después de ver la reserva seleccionada para el silencio, el jefe también se encontró con antelación para decir que fuera de la habitación especial está el jardín de la comida, cerca de la calle, y puede haber ruido. Después de estar en realidad, es bueno que el doble nivel de aislamiento esté bien, y el otro tiene un oído. La habitación es amplia, el brillo de las ventanas es muy bueno, y sería más conveniente colocar las cosas si las botas se añadieron más. El paisaje es muy bonito y se encuentra con varios turistas que se han tomado en el pasillo.

El personal fue muy amable. El wifi era un poco débil, pero las demás instalaciones estaban bien. La entrada es difícil de encontrar, así que adjunto una foto.
