Great location! Stayed here for several nights in July. The host was incredibly helpful—provided a list of nearby restaurants, assisted with my luggage up the stairs, and even went above and beyond to help me send a local parcel. They also kindly stored my large suitcase while I explored nearby cities. Overall a great experience!

I recently stayed at Blue shark see view Hotel in my trip to Xiamen and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated in a touristy part of the city, close to public transportation, banks, restaurants and shopping malls. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 1715 was spacious and it had a wonderful view, the only thing to importe is the stains on the ceiling and provide regular towels instead of disposable ones. breakfast is not included but there are cafes walking distance. The internet connection was good in general.
Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and a comfortable stay in Xiamen.

Very pleasant stay. The rooms are like in the pictures and it was the cleanest hotel I have been to in China! Very close to the airport and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
Despite all the rooms are for smokers, there is no strong smoke smell, just a very subtle hint (which is better than all the other hotel I visited in China, including non-smoker rooms).

房間裝修簡約大氣，採光和視野都很好，床品柔軟舒適，睡得特別安穩。衞生做得非常細緻，角落都乾乾淨淨，沒有異味，用品齊全且品質不錯。
酒店整體設施維護得很好，隔音效果佳，完全不吵。保潔和服務響應都很及時，有求必應，讓人覺得貼心又放心。

Останавливалась в Meet Home (Xiamen Airport Fanghu Branch) — осталась довольна. Номер полностью соответствует фото: современный дизайн, уютно и чисто. Быстрая регистрация, всё без лишних вопросов.
Из плюсов — стиральная машина прямо в номере (очень удобно в поездке), большой рабочий стол с хорошим Wi-Fi, и тихий холодильник. В ванной чисто, душевая отделена стеклом, есть всё необходимое.
Маленький минус: Есть мойка и вытяжка, но нет плитки. Полноценно готовить не удастся, если оставаться на долгий срок, только заварить чай
Локация удобная — близко к аэропорту и северному вокзалу, рядом много местных кафе.

Hotel is in a residence area I supposed. So don’t expect hotel facilities and fit out. Shower is ok. But the water will splash out as it’s only separated by a flimsy curtain. There’s a pipe in the toilet ceiling that leaks very loudly. Already feedback to the owner. He said he will fix the pipe with a longer one.
They provide disposable towel. So bring your own if you mind. Basic toothbrush and other toiletries are provided. But shampoo isn’t great. Feels like the cheap kind.
Has one washing machine in a lone lobby. Works ok.
Good for one night stay if you are watching a concert nearby.

Hotel económico y perfectamente adecuado. Muy bien ubicado. La recepcionista fue muy amable, aunque no hablaba absolutamente nada de inglés. Nos comunicamos por WeChat. La habitación es amplia. El piso podría haber sido mejor barrido. El aire acondicionado es bueno. El wifi es pésimo, pero en general, no está mal. La ubicación es muy buena, rodeado de tiendas. Y hay un restaurante de Xinjiang justo al lado con kebabs de cordero, que recomiendo encarecidamente.

The cleaning couple, husband, and wife were friendly and nice. Locatian A1, surrounded by food lovers, is not far from Metro Dadao.
We booked a room with the window, unfortunately it was too noisy, otherwise all-around was a perfect stay for us.

UUsuario anónimoRoom was really big, and although it was further than I expected, its still of a walkable distance from the airport. Room was big and had plenty of space! Cleanliness wise was actually pretty alright, EXCEPT the toilet. I think it was mentioned by another reviewer that there is a very strong smell i think coming from the drain. It really hits you in the face whenever you open the toilet door, so im quite affected and reluctant to use the toilet lol. But luckily the toilet and bath are separated, so I think if you close the toilet door its still fine. I just hold my breath when opening the toilet door. Also its still bearable for me since im only there for 1 night (im in quanzhou for a 24 hour layover), but otherwise the smell is really not for long stays, so I would say considering the price I paid (and the proximity to the airport) its still an acceptable stay BUT if you're staying there for longer I would recommend looking for other hotels! (Which is a shame really because I like staying in large rooms normally and i think i dont have high standards for my stays as long as its clean, and this room is pretty spacious)

AAdam DZI'd like to highly recommend this homestay. The place is so calm, so clean and convenient. The closest beach is only 8 minutes drive. There's also a free parking area The owner is is beautiful couple showing love and care to everyone. The homestay is well equipped with all the necessities.

UUsuario invitadoReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.

FFoodTravelLife88This is an apartment located a 6 min drive to the port to kinmen. The area itself is enclosed in like a yacht club boating area. Depending on the season many things maybe closed but it's good if you want to walk along the pier enjoy nature, have a ferry or plane to catch.
I am going to review this as an Airbnb style apartment. Since it is an actual apartment your renting. They were a little confused at check in giving us two rooms and having us find our visa in our passport for them to take the photos. The apartment overall is very good for a short stay with a nice view, great TV and quite a lot of space. My husband's phone was able to connect to the internet and it was very good my phone however wouldn't connect. Typical problem with non Chinese phones. Bathroom is also very updated and nice. The bed was also very nice.
So as this is an apartment somethings could be improved for longer stays.
1) while there is a huge fridge they don't provide you a second key so the fridge will actually stay on when you leave. Typically I leave one key in and turn off everything manually but they said not possible. So if your staying for awhile everytime you leave your fridge will go off.
2) While there is a stove which is great there isn't any way to cook no small pot pan plate nothing. Which is strange because why is there a stove then. This is clearly an apartment which could be better supplied like an Airbnb.
3) While there is a washer which is amazing and washing powder which is a huge plus there is no way to dry the clothes. There is no drying rack, no fan and the two windows don't provide enough air for drying. There was only 6 hangers as well.
4) While it was quite clean the cabinets in the kitchen, the insulation inside the fridge were not clean at all. You could tell they had recently mopped and we arrived nearly 8pm. The ceiling in certain areas had visable black mold which could be a bigger problem. The faucet in the bathroom also was very loose.
However the apartment is great and could be able to accommodate longer stays if these areas are fixed. Modeling more of an Airbnb type stay. As someone who's lived in Airbnb the past 7 years I'm just trying to help.
So it you are going for a night or a week and these things don't bother you I can recommend it. For me it was great for short stay.

UUsuario invitadoI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again.
Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea.
Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean.
Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with.
The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels.
Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.
