Everything was fantastic. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at 130 am. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Highly recommend if your plans are to stay in Abbotsford

This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

El desayuno incluido fue definitivamente la mejor parte de la estancia porque no era un desayuno continental sino una omeleta de huevos frescos con salsa, waffles, bayas y, por supuesto, café o té. El hotel está muy cerca de una carretera ocupada y el tráfico puede ser un poco ruido.

Visité el hotel porque mi familia vive en Vancouver. Estaba muy preocupada por las malas reseñas, pero fue mejor de lo que esperaba. Fue agradable que el personal del hotel hablara coreano, y fue muy práctico que nos dieran una habitación sin escaleras. Sin embargo... la calefacción... ¡hace muchísimo ruido! ㅠㅠㅠ Si no la enciendo, hace frío... pero si la enciendo, se reseca el ambiente. Jajaja. Aun así, fue mejor de lo que decían las reseñas. ¡Menos mal que no era demasiado pequeña para dos personas!

El personal de servicio es muy entusiasta y puede tratar nuestros problemas a tiempo! La habitación es limpia y limpia, el espacio es cómodo ～!!! Si quieres viajar al Parque Nacional de Yoho, la opción de vivir aquí es buena!!! ¡Hay restaurantes de comida indios junto a ellos ～ ¡La comida es deliciosa!

Tuve una excelente estadía aquí. El personal fue muy amable y profesional. Fácil acceso al aeropuerto YVR con el servicio de transporte gratuito. La habitación estaba limpia y tenía todo lo necesario. El desayuno gratuito también fue bueno, con una buena selección. En general, recomiendo ampliamente este hotel y sin duda volveré en el futuro.

I had a great experience at The Cambie Hostel Seymour. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Vancouver. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The facilities met my expectations, and I felt safe throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I found the atmosphere warm, welcoming, and enjoyable. One of the best things about this hostel is its convenient location near Waterfront Station. It was very easy to travel from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the hostel using public transportation, as Waterfront Station is the last stop on the Canada Line, and the hostel is only a short walk away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Good room, but terrible guest services and laundry experience We chose this hotel on our road trip because of its convenient location and reasonable prices, but overall, it was a disappointing experience due to their poor service. Check-in was okay, though we did have to wait a bit. The room itself was fine—clean, with a working AC and TV, and we had no issues with the room quality. However, the major issue was their guest laundry facility. We desperately needed to do laundry after a long drive, but their guest machines completely failed and left our clothes stuck mid-wash. To her credit, the receptionist tried to help by letting us use the hotel’s internal laundry machines, but the whole process was a huge hassle. What really ruined the experience was the management's response—or lack thereof. I sent an email to lodge a formal complaint about the issue, and they didn't even bother to reply or apologize. A business that ignores its customers after a bad experience gets zero points from me. If they offer a laundry service, they need to invest in proper commercial machines instead of cheap domestic ones that constantly break down. I will definitely not be staying here again.

El hotel es un hotel muy acogedor y muy acogedor. La habitación estaba bien equipada con aire acondicionado, mini refrigerador, microondas, cafetera y muy buena iluminación. La ubicación del hotel era buena. Hay una buena cena en la calle y unos restaurantes decentes cerca. Es a 20 minutos a pie de Chinatown y a 30 minutos a la zona interior del puerto que son ambos valientes para explorar. Aquí hay unas parejas de paradas de autobús que también pueden llevarte a otras zonas de la ciudad.
