El hotel está situado en una ladera/pendiente. La recepción está en la parte superior donde te dejan. Si tiene problemas de movilidad, es fundamental solicitar habitación en el nivel del vestíbulo. Nos asignaron una habitación que daba al lago, en la sección más baja. Su hermosa vista del amanecer y el agua están a pocos pasos debajo de nuestra habitación. El problema es que cuando necesitábamos algo (estaba muy enfermo), no hay teléfono ni intercomunicador en la habitación (o en el nivel del piso, no vimos nada). Así que uno de nosotros tuvo que caminar bajo la lluvia para ir a la recepción. El personal era amable y servicial. La habitación es sencilla pero con aire acondicionado y ducha de agua caliente. Quizás la gerencia considere quitar la lámpara colgante blanca y reemplazarla con algo más suave para los ojos cuando uno está en la cama. Por lo demás, la habitación es cómoda.

We stayed here just for one night before catching the train the next day. The room itself was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was perfect for a short stay. However, all the rooms open directly onto the main lobby, so it gets very noisy early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this can definitely be disturbing. There’s also a very large dehumidifier in the corridor that makes a constant, unpleasant noise.

I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024. The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay. We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade. Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island. Only stayed for one night but bed and pillows were super comfy and the hotel breakfast was great

The hotel was unable to find in Waze and Google Map until we asked someone. The front desk staff aren't well verse in English and struggling to understand our English and broken bahasa Indonesia. Booked a room via trip.com and promised King bed but the hotel staff said all economy room comes with queen bed. We found booking information was misleading and felt cheated. There wasn't a toilet paper in the bathroom and I asked for twice. Promised to deliver but did not. The pillows of the room are not for normal human being and my partner has to remove more than half of the ” artificial form” of the pillows to reduce height.( I m more than 5 feet and he is more than 6 feet height).... otherwise it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep with this kind of pillow.

En general muy bien, empezando por el servicio, la limpieza de la habitación, la ubicación y el desayuno y el almuerzo (almuerzo si hay temporada de vacaciones) servido muy bien, todo en uno, todo está en este hotel típico de Parapat. Muy recomendable para estancias y vacaciones en familia. La foto resulta de una estadía típica de Parapat.

Positives: I had stayed for three nights and I had come back to the hotel at different timings and on foot and in a vehicle. Bravo to the security who are always on alert and there a couple of them. The hotel offers very attractive prices. The service staff is excellent on the couple of times I had made enquires. Housekeeping is excellent. Even my clothes are nearly folded and tucked away. Do remember to tip them. Space is big. The luggage support is very useful. Cons Maybe it is time to renovate the toilets

The service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.

We love this hotel so much and the buffet breakfast also not bad. We will come back again. I wish they provide tour packages arround there . All the staffs so friendly . Keep it up the good work. All the best for Niagara hotel . We love our room too.

Estupendo personal útil. La habitación más grande que he estado en. Se sentía como una casa. Buena ubicación. El desayuno es promedio en el mejor. Tiene un A y W junto a la recepción, así que es un plus. Altamente recomenda alojamiento presupuestario.
