The staff were very helpful even though it was nearly the end of the season. My room on the first floor (no lift) had an electric kettle and mugs, a small refrigerator and a hair dryer. It was a double room with a balcony. (I was on my own but there is no discount for single occupancy, but this appears to be normal everywhere). The room might seem small to some, but I found it's compact design, including large walk in shower, separate wash basin and separate toilet, very acceptable. Maps of the island and the town are provided in reception. The guest house is very close to the town centre, a short walk down a little hill and you are immediately in all the little streets that run down towards the port and front. There are many cafes and restaurants on the front, just be aware you will always pay more to drink or eat at these and there are plenty of bars and restaurants just a little inland. Think twice about hiring a car because the bus service is excellent. NB This is for Trip.com: you were not very helpful when I received a message regarding opening times for reception, which meant my flight would arrive too late in the afternoon to get into 8Kto. I used your live chat and was told to use the 8Kto number to which I could never get a response. I tried live chat again and was assured that you would find out what I should do before my arrival date (mid-September) - you never did. Using the net I finally found an email address for the guest house and they immediately responded to my message, giving me instructions on how to get in and find my room when I arrive. Surely you should have been able to give me the email address in the first place, especially as you advertise your service as always giving immediate support to travellers.

Loved the location, the villa and the management. Our villa had a beautiful balcony view over the lake and a wood fire inside a well as central heating. The owners were super kind and friendly. The hotel villas are in a very remote location high in the mountains and that's what we loved about it. Stunning scenery all around, it was beautiful. Dinner was available at the hotel but we wanted to go for a drive. We had coffee and a light meal at Plaz Pezoulas which was about a 15min drive away. The shower was hot and breakfast was nice. The owner gave us 4 bottles of water for our drive upon checkout which was very thoughtful. 10/10

Todo perfecto, habitación cómoda y con bonitas vistas. El aparcamiento es un poco pequeño pero por la parte de atrás se puede aparcar sin problema. Únicamente destacar que no tuvimos opción a desayuno, aunque en la web se entendía que se podía contratar allí. La ducha es algo estrecha y como la cortina no llega hasta abajo del todo, se sale un poco de agua.

Hotel maravilloso en Kastraki. Dos noches maravillosas. Personal super amable. Desayuno excepcional. Lástima que toda esta perfección del hotel se viera truncada por un aire acondicionado que tenía vida propia. Incomprensible. Se encendía y se apagaba sin que nosotros con el mando lo solicitáramos. La única solución fue cortar la luz. Una locura.

A lovely family hotel. The room I got was homely and warm, everything was clean and tasteful. Good breakfast at a really cheap price I arrived injured and in bad shape, and the hotel owner treated me like I was her family member. It's encouraging to meet such good people. I will definitely come back here again. I must mention the bed which was extremely large and comfortable.

Stayed in the beginning of March. It was off season. Hotel room was very clean, location is central, easy parking at the front. The receptionist gave us all the information we needed for our visit. You won't be disappointed to stay here. Enjoy

Great place to stay especially if you are a plain spotter) Few minutes to the runaway. Local country side around, no tourist crowds. Great tavern Mylos with views and delicious cuisine. Mrs Sofia is very hospitable. Duplex is spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is very nicely located by the beach. We arrived late but the staff was very helpful with us. I totally recommend. We had a great experience though we were in off season so during summer we believe it would be a bit more crowded. Breakfast was very nice and all the people very kind.

Nos registramos justo después de bajar de la montaña. El dueño fue muy amable y nos dio una habitación con vistas a la montaña. Meteora estaba justo al otro lado de la ventana, lo cual era precioso. Había una tetera en la habitación y me preparé una taza de té. Me senté en el balcón a contemplar el paisaje. Era muy tranquilo por la noche. El pueblo es muy pequeño y se puede caminar hasta la calle principal para comer después de salir del B&B.
