My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage. Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns). For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials. Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

En general, este hotel es bueno 👍🏼 ¡Le pedí a la hermosa señorita del mostrador la habitación del último piso! Ella sonrió y me asignó la 803, una habitación rosa, y la vista era buena. La infraestructura del hotel es clásica, pero en general es buena 👍🏼 Me gusta la cama 🛌 era muy cómoda. ¡No hubo problemas de sonido dentro de la habitación! Sin embargo, debido a que el pasillo es estrecho y cuando la gente pasa, hacen ruido hasta que toman el ascensor. Todos sabemos que la gente aquí es un poco ruidosa, incluso si hablan normalmente parece que gritan. Otros No encontré ningún problema con respecto a vivir en este hotel. Creo que es un buen lugar para una estancia de 2 a 3 noches.

I had an amazing experience here. Upon arrival, I even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is brand new, and everything feels fresh and well maintained. The owner is incredibly helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He’s always ready to answer questions or give advice. He also runs his own travel agency, and through him, I visited Tashkurgan — definitely a trip worth taking and a highlight of my journey. In short: an excellent stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended!

My friend and I (both from Ireland) stayed here for 4 days and had the best experience. The rooms were lovely and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect- right in the Old Town with lots of nice shops and cafes nearby and beautiful places to take photos. The best part was the staff- everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It was really nice to meet lots of groups of travelers there from various countries, too. Would highly recommend!

La calidad de los camas y la ropa es buena, la presión de agua es estable, el caballo inteligente utiliza una buena tranquilidad y la sanidad es muy limpia. El espacio es razonable, la luz y el aislamiento son buenos, y el descanso nocturno no está perturbado. En general, es un hotel muy cuidadoso. ¡Experimente la sensación de estar lleno, volveré la próxima vez!

The hotel location was great, with easy access to the ski slopes, interesting restaurants and all kinds of shopping. It was difficult to manage the over heating in the room, particularly the bathroom (bidet was a nice touch), but leaving the windows open at -20 brought the room temp down to a comfortable +22. Disappointed that the cafe/bar wasn't open, but laundry and gym were clean and modern. Rooms were 'cleaned' each day however clean cups and regular stock would have been appreciated. Water was provided. Front desk and other hotel staff very helpful and friendly.
