Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

La ubicación es bastante buena, justo a las afueras de la Calle Oeste de Yangshuo. Se puede llegar andando en unos minutos y, al estar un poco alejado, no es ruidoso. El recepcionista era bastante guapo y hasta me ayudó con el equipaje. Sin embargo, el diseño de las plantas del hotel es un poco complicado. Yo estaba en el cuarto piso del bloque D, y solo el bloque A tenía ascensor. Tenía que subir hasta la azotea, rodear hasta el bloque D y luego bajar hasta el cuarto piso. En general, todo estuvo bastante bien.

Comenzando las vacaciones de primavera, nos dirigimos hacia el sur. Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, Beihai. El Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn fue el alojamiento más cómodo y conveniente. El diseño y la distribución del hostal superaron mis expectativas, con una gran calidad. Debido a las limitaciones inherentes al edificio, instalaron un ascensor exclusivo para equipaje, lo cual es muy conveniente. Esto demuestra una gran consideración tanto para los huéspedes como para el personal. ¡Un gran aplauso por eso! El condado de Yangshuo es muy pequeño, por lo que no es necesario alojarse en la zona escénica (ya que la ubicación no es conveniente, los precios son más altos y tendrías que tomar taxis para comer o para el transporte principal, aumentando los gastos). Por lo tanto, alojarse en la zona comercial de West Street es una decisión muy acertada. Nos alojamos en el Wangjianglou y comimos en el Wangjianglou (quién diría que su restaurante es uno de los lugares más populares y concurridos de Yangshuo). Como huéspedes, no tuvimos que hacer cola; el mayordomo de la recepción nos ayudó directamente con la reserva, y además obtuvimos un 10% de descuento en la comida. ¡Una oferta fantástica! Después del Primero de Mayo, planeo volver con mi familia y alojarme de nuevo en el Wangjianglou.

La casa de huéspedes tiene una ubicación fantástica; el balcón de la habitación da directamente a los campos en terrazas del Mirador de los Nueve Dragones y los Cinco Tigres de la aldea de Ping'an. Era el segundo día de la cosecha de arroz, pero las terrazas seguían siendo increíblemente hermosas y espectaculares. Gracias a su ubicación privilegiada, madrugar para ir al Mirador de los Nueve Dragones y los Cinco Tigres es muy práctico. El sol de la mañana, al salir, crea una luz suave y hermosa, perfecta para tomar fotos. Además, la comida de la casa de huéspedes es deliciosa, y la cena y el desayuno son aún más placenteros al contemplar el atardecer y el amanecer.

Tuvimos una estancia encantadora en este increíble hotel. Está un poco alejado del casco antiguo, pero la verdad es que lo preferimos así, sobre todo porque ofrecen patinetes eléctricos que puedes usar para ir tú mismo. Esto te da mucha libertad. Caminamos por el valle y llegamos al punto de partida en patinete. También puedes simplemente dar una vuelta y disfrutar de los impresionantes paisajes en patinete. La habitación en sí es preciosa; el hotel es completamente nuevo y las vistas son absolutamente impresionantes. Si no hubiera habido una pequeña carretera delante del hotel, habría sido aún más perfecto. El personal (creemos que es una familia) gestiona el hotel en conjunto, y eso realmente lo distingue de otros hoteles de la ciudad. El desayuno se prepara con verduras recién cosechadas de su huerto, y también puedes disfrutar de deliciosas cenas caseras. Gracias a una aplicación de traducción, la comunicación fue fluida, y también nos recogieron y nos dejaron en la estación de tren. En general, es un hotel bonito, limpio y moderno con un ambiente cálido y acogedor, gracias a su gente. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

As someone who has travelled all over the world, this has been the best hotel I have ever visited. It feels more like a resort than a hotel. Every aspect was perfect, from the service, to the food, location, room, bed, shower, amenities, and beyond. It was so good I extended my stay. The location is incredible, as it is such a unique picturesque landscape that only a local village in China can provide you. I've explored different areas of this village, and I think this hotel has the best view. It's also a 20-minute hike down to the central village, which was really interesting to explore, especially during festival season. However, I feel like there is no need to explore outside because this place has the best view. The host and staff were all incredible, the warmest and most helpful people. The food was amazing..providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is seriously rich. There was so much variety, and the ingredients were so local and fresh. It tasted like healthy but delicious home cooked meals. The coffee is just as amazing. As I am a foreigner who can't speak Chinese, the host, who speaks English well, was able to help me with every aspect during my stay. Since this area is 2 hours away from the airport, I was worried how to get here, but the host graciously helped arrange a driver, and I was able to arrive safely. The host went above and beyond to help me and to allow me to feel at home. This hotel is very kid-friendly, but it is also amazing for solo travelers and business travelers. It is good for any type of traveler. I came here alone, partly to explore the area, but also to work. Their open lounge by the window with comfy couches allowed me to work while taking in the amazing oxygen and beautiful natural smells. The shower works great, and the washroom is really nice, with the smart toilet and all. In fact, the interior design of this hotel throughout is so thoughtfully well designed. I slept so well here, the bed is perfect and I had peace and quiet during my nights. Literally every aspect of this hotel was perfect and beyond my expectations. It's incredibly high value, and better than any actual resort I've been to. It is just such a unique place overall, but the hotel made me extremely emotional because it was so good, yet so relaxing, making me feel like royalty. Booking this hotel is a serious no-brainer. Do not hesitate and please book this place. It's a once in a lifetime memory to be made.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, a solo unos cientos de metros a pie de la estación de balsas de bambú. Aunque este lugar es muy popular y se recomienda reservar con antelación. El primer restaurante a la derecha al salir es el mejor (es mi opinión después de probar varios). La piscina está limpia y tienen algunos juguetes acuáticos. El servicio también es muy bueno. Como nuestro tren de alta velocidad de regreso era a las 7 de la noche, el hotel nos permitió hacer el check-out a las 2 de la tarde y también pudimos esperar en el restaurante del segundo piso hasta la hora de irnos. Nos encantó el tipo de habitación en la que nos alojamos, perfecta para tres adultos y un niño. Además, no era caro para ser temporada de verano. Lo recomiendo sinceramente, ya estoy animando a mis familiares a que vengan y volveré a reservar aquí.

La habitación era espaciosa, luminosa y muy limpia, superando mis expectativas. El precio era increíblemente asequible. La recepción brindó un excelente servicio y también ofrecen alquiler de bicicletas eléctricas. No tiene nada que envidiar a cualquier cadena hotelera conocida. Justo afuera hay una calle llena de restaurantes, y se puede ir andando a la famosa Calle Oeste. Los alrededores son muy bonitos. ¡Pulgar arriba!

Aunque ninguna de las habitaciones que reservamos incluía desayuno, el hotel nos ofreció un desayuno buffet gratuito, que estaba limpio e higiénico.

Ventajas: el servicio es realmente bueno, muy entusiasta, también envió un pequeño regalo cuando se retiró de la habitación, la polvo de arroz del desayuno es muy deliciosa y las verduras también son muy buenas.
