I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. 這家黃厝沙灘附近的親子民宿真的是帶娃福音！親子房的滑滑梯、海洋球池讓娃玩到停不下來。房間寬敞舒適，窗簾遮光效果好，這個房間是單獨隔開的，可以説是獨享庭院景色。1米8+1米5兩張床，前台還提供可愛的小童枕頭，大人小孩都睡得舒服。換房的時候看到阿姨用吸塵器打掃海洋球池，衞生讓家有敏娃的我很放心。老闆的服務非常體貼，提供公用雨傘，免費的挖沙工具，庭院有洗沙子的水壓槍，前台備着防蚊水、蚊香液，還有帶娃剛需的洗衣房，洗衣機乾衣機都有。酒店距離黃厝沙灘五百米，娃每天上午的活動就是挖沙，玩的不亦樂乎。周邊美食一條街，吃也很便利，在這裏連住三晚都覺得值，來廈門帶娃選這兒準沒錯！

Given the late hour and festive season, we were concerned that nearby restaurants might already be closed. To our pleasant surprise, several small eateries within 50 meters of the hotel were still open, allowing us to enjoy a proper late dinner. It was a reassuring start to our stay. The hotel’s environment is comfortable and welcoming. The lobby features a bright, clean design with warm wood tones and soft lighting that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. A tasteful display area and cozy seating space add a subtle blend of business functionality and artistic charm. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient despite the late hour. We stayed in the Premier Themed Room (Japanese Style with Sakura), which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully designed Japanese-inspired interior. Warm lighting, wooden flooring, and delicate sakura (cherry blossom) wall art created a serene and elegant ambiance. Wooden partition panels and subtle decorative details added refinement, giving the space an artistic yet tranquil feel — almost like a small ryokan-style retreat in the heart of Xiamen. The room was thoughtfully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. A charming feature was the private balcony, which allowed fresh air in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, dressed in crisp white linens. The mattress offered excellent support, and the pillows were soft yet supportive, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. All essential toiletries were generously provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dental kits, slippers, and towels. Everything was neatly arranged and well-maintained, reflecting attention to guest comfort. The complimentary breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It offered a good variety of well-prepared options, making it a satisfying way to start each day. The location is highly convenient, close to the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with California Plaza Shopping Mall next door offering numerous dining choices. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel is an excellent option. Most importantly, the nightly rate was very reasonable and offered excellent value, especially considering the themed décor, balcony, full amenities, and included breakfast. The stay exceeded our expectations. We would gladly choose this room again on our next visit. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended!

The hotel was located at the center of zhongsan road and 8th street. Convenient for shopping and dining. Disappointedly the room was filled with cigarettes smell which I hated very much 😭

El entorno popular en general es brillante, la limpieza interior es muy limpia, todos los rincones se encuentran en el lugar, la decoración es sencillamente caliente y el ambiente es muy agradable. Las camas son blandas, la calidad del descanso es buena, el baño está seco y el suministro de agua caliente es estable. El personal es amable, informa de la ruta con antelación, hay respuestas a los problemas a tiempo. La ubicación es conveniente para el transporte, hay más opciones para comer y beber en el entorno, la residencia está lejos de las zonas complejas y el descanso es seguro. La experiencia de vivir es excelente y la próxima vez que viajamos sigue siendo la opción prioritaria.

La comida del restaurante es muy sabrosa y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio; incluso te dan guarniciones y verduras de la huerta gratis. También ofrecen tés de hojas sueltas gratis (5 o 6 opciones de la finca, según tengo entendido; muy ricos). Es una pena que las tazas y los vasos sean de plástico desechable por comodidad; poner agua hirviendo en plástico no es lo ideal hoy en día. Las salas de té son muy elegantes, pero por lo que entiendo, son básicamente salas de degustación para clientes que desean comprar té, lo cual puede resultar un poco confuso si solo quieres tomar té, no necesariamente comprarlo (y mucho menos al por mayor). El personal es amable, pero no habla inglés, lo que limita la comunicación a transacciones monetarias. Esperaba un mapa de la zona turística, indicaciones para llegar a la parada de autobús, consejos sobre qué visitar en el parque, etc., pero en general lo averigüé por mi cuenta. La habitación es muy cómoda y la zona es impresionante; no te pierdas el espectáculo Impressions Dahongpao y, por supuesto, las vistas panorámicas del parque.

Recepcionistas amables, atentos y serviciales. Excelente ubicación, cerca de la estación de autobuses, las terminales de ferry y la calle Zhongshan. Las habitaciones con vista al mar tienen vistas espléndidas. ¡No se las pierdan! Después de ver lo hermosas que son (difíciles de capturar en fotos), me arrepentí de no haber reservado una habitación con vista al mar completa. 😅 Los recepcionistas fueron increíblemente amables y serviciales, ¡un gran aplauso! El hotel tiene una ubicación fantástica, cerca de la estación de autobuses, las terminales de ferry y la calle Zhongshan. Las habitaciones con vista al mar ofrecen vistas impresionantes, ¡no se las pierdan! Después de ver las habitaciones en persona (las fotos apenas pueden capturar su belleza), me arrepentí de inmediato de no haber reservado una habitación con vista al mar completa. 😅

Ubicación y transporte: está cerca de la calle peatonal y es fácil de encontrar. Puedes tomar un taxi a las atracciones de los alrededores en 20 minutos. Ambiente y servicio: siempre me gusta alojarme en los hoteles de Huazhu. No hace falta decir que la recepción siempre responde a todas las solicitudes.
