Overall, I had a pleasant stay and a good experience. The staff were all very polite, friendly, and helpful, which made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel itself is a little dated, and some areas could benefit from better maintenance. The tiles underneath the sink were cracked and looked as though they might come loose, which was a bit concerning. There were also some marks and stains around the sink area. They may simply be due to age or water stains, but they gave the bathroom a less clean appearance. One thing that concerned me was the presence of Charlie ants (rove beetles). We noticed them outside the room, and there were also quite a few in the steam room. Although the hotel has placed notices to warn guests about them, they are extremely small and difficult to spot unless you look very carefully. Since contact with them can cause skin irritation, it was a little worrying. Overall, the staff provided excellent service, and we enjoyed our stay. I hope the hotel can improve the maintenance of the facilities and continue taking measures to reduce the presence of Charlie ants, as these improvements would make the experience even better.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful family stay at Lone Pine! We absolutely loved the vibe here — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully surrounded by nature. It really suited us and was exactly the kind of getaway we enjoy. The breakfast was also one of our highlights — so good and we really enjoyed the variety! ❤️ The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. And a funny little note… my teenage daughter loved Lone Pine so much that she has already started planning her wedding here! 😅😂 I guess that says a lot about how much she enjoyed the place! Definitely a memorable stay and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Esta fue mi segunda estancia en este hotel. Aunque la ubicación es un poco alejada, no hay problema si vas en coche. Las habitaciones son estupendas; todas tienen vistas al mar, lo cual es una gran ventaja. Sugiero que el hotel añada algunas instalaciones a la zona de la piscina, porque el sol es demasiado fuerte y resulta muy incómodo. Además, hay muy pocas instalaciones para niños. Esta vez, la selección del desayuno me pareció limitada y el sabor había empeorado bastante 😢. Los niños tenían muchas ganas de desayunar, pero se llevaron una decepción.

We love everything about this resort. Kids & family friendly, service & hospitality was very nice, breakfast spread was nice and tasted good, the views here were breathtaking, my kids enjoyed the pool, they have splash pool with 2 different slides and the adults can enjoy the slides as well. Easy access to the beach with many watersport activities but need to pay for them, we spent on their dinner buffet which was so good. In the evening, they have BBQ and you can enjoy taking pictures during sunset. However, I hope they can improve their maintenance at the pool area (there was a shower by the poolside that needed to be repaired), the cleanliness of the room can definitely be improved, the hairdryer in our room was out of service, but other than that, everything else was definitely great. We may repeat our stay here in the future 👍🏻

We really enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always helpful. Breakfast was one of the highlights — there were so many different options to choose from, and everything we tried was really tasty. There was plenty of variety, so it was easy to find something we both enjoyed. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful grounds and the easy access to the beach. Our room was comfortable and the whole resort felt very relaxing. The location is a little further from George Town, but Grab made it easy to get around. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

Esta playa es la más adecuada para nadar, pero llegamos en plena temporada de medusas; el guardia de seguridad nos avisó, así que no nos metimos ni una sola vez... Pero hay una piscina muy bonita, con toboganes y varios juegos infantiles en un lado y una zona profunda en el otro. Y por primera vez, vi arena en el fondo de una piscina. Es extraño, pero la verdad es que es bastante agradable caminar sobre ella. Reservamos una habitación estándar, pero al llegar la cambiamos por una superior porque las ventanas daban a unos tejados y el aire estaba cargado porque no se podían abrir... Nos dieron una habitación con vistas al mar y balcón, ¡y era preciosa! El hotel es antiguo, sí, pero muy interesante, con cuadros y maniquíes por todas partes... Limpiaban muy bien todos los días: aspiraban, limpiaban la ducha y cambiaban las toallas, que estaban impolutas. La ropa de cama estaba un poco anticuada, pero limpia. Los desayunos son decentes, con mucha comida asiática, por supuesto, pero también se puede encontrar algo sencillo, un café delicioso y fruta. Visiten la cafetería con cocina turca y árabe; es discreta y pequeña, pero muy sabrosa. Especialmente si buscan una buena sopa, shawarma, kebab y ayran. Llevamos tres semanas viajando por Malasia y estamos cansados ​​del tom yum, el curry y otros platos con olores fuertes... La ubicación, francamente, no es la mejor... está lejos de George Town, donde se encuentran los principales restaurantes y calles para pasear. Pero cerca, a siete minutos en taxi, hay un parque de mariposas y una especie de mini reserva natural; recomiendo visitarlo. También hay dos lagartos monitores, de unos 50-60 cm de largo. Se acercaron a las tumbonas con cautela, no atacaron, solo observaron y huyeron. Fue genial. Recomiendo el hotel en general, pero ten en cuenta que un taxi te llevará una hora al centro y de vuelta... bueno, si te alojas en la zona, ¡sin duda puedes quedarte allí!

We love the kid pool facility and the breakfast buffet selection, it’s awesome. The downfall was: The resort was a little bit old, the receptionist don’t answer my calls most of the time when I need to request for something. This you gotta improve. And one of the most important thing that you gotta fix is your toilet’s water pressure. It is too small, for sink, toilet bowl, and shower. The only water that’s powerful is the bidet. We have to flush multiple times after using the toilet. It’s really frustrating.

Positive -have requested for a connecting room， and hotel arranged the connecting room for us. The buffer restaurant got a nice view, but not our room, Negative - we were allocated the room could see the opposite building closely, means other buildings could see us as well. No privacy at all. Rooms getting a bit dated The rubbish bin not clean up every day We haven't been notified there was a short renovation upstairs in the afternoon, we were taking rest at the hotel by that time. The worse is after we come back from dinner, the light at the corridor and in our room all dark. This is the first time I experienced all night off in my hotel room. The manager told me that because we switched off the main switch, and made both rooms light off. Do you think it is possible for us even turn off the corridor light and another room night? In fact, we never turn off the light.

Reservé una habitación Premier King. Me impresionó la limpieza y la comodidad de la habitación. La habitación era espaciosa. La cama era cómoda, solo que la almohada me resultó un poco dura. Bonitas vistas desde la habitación. Habitación tranquila. Desayuno 9/10. Mucha variedad de comida. ¡Delicioso! Especialmente el taufufa. ¡Repetiré tres veces! 😊 El gimnasio está bastante bien y tiene el equipamiento adecuado. La vista a la piscina es Komtar. Excelente ubicación. A poca distancia a pie del centro comercial 1st Avenue y de la mayoría de los lugares. Espero que este hotel mantenga los servicios y la limpieza durante mucho tiempo. Seguramente volveré al St Giles Wembley Hotel en mi próxima visita a Penang.
